   Wow, what a busy day!

I can't believe how much I got done today and how completely exausted I am right now. What a day! I am going to sleep really well tonight!

The wedding was great except the reception was outside and it rained. It was one of those out of nowhere cloud bursts. Everything was already set out and it looked beautiful! Not just rained, but down pour, thunder, lightning...the works. I was completely soaked trying to move things inside! Everyone still had a good time. I ended up leaving early so I could change my clothes. The bride and groom were happy as clams so it didn't ruin the day.

I bet you have already noticed that I have changed the look of my site. I figured you guys were probably getting bored of looking at the same ol' stuff. So I changed a few colors and banners. I will be doing more work on it but I am just to tired to think about all that right now.

The voting booth for the WTF?!? contest is now open! Go to the site via the gnome button in my intro, review the images and go to page four to see the directions for voting. You can vote anytime before the time change on theOtaku on May 30th. Vote now before you forget!!

I tried making the rounds to everyone's myO sites before I left for the wedding but if I missed you I am sorry. I promise to make it by tomorrow...or should I say later today..you know what I mean!

Now, for your question of the day:

What is the funniest thing that has happened at a wedding you have been too? Most embarassing? Most unusual?

For me it would have to be the limo being "stolen". I am way to lazy today to go into all the details so I will do it in semi-outline format.

-reception, lots of people drinking and having a good time.
-you have the different groups of drunks, they include: happy drunks, sad drunks, passed out drunks and the angry drunks....then everyone else.
-in the group of happy drunks (I was in this group...but not drunk!).
-someone says, "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if someone stole the limo!"
-someone got in the limo and drove away.
-came back about 10 minutes later.
-reactions included:
Happy drunks: Woo Hoo!!!
Sad drunks: Why did he have to do that! ::sob::
-Passed out drunks: ~.~ zzzzzz
-Angry drunks: He ruined the wedding I'm going kick his.....!!!

The bride and groom thought it was hilarious! No one was hurt except for the limo driver since he almost had a heart attack watching his limo leaving! The guy who "stole" it gave him an extra tip afterwards to make up for the joke.

Well, I hope that made some sense since I am really tired and not thinking clearly. I will catch up with everyone later. Remember to vote and let me know what you think of my updates on my site so far.

Love ya all! ^_^

   Are You Happy?

I am feeling pretty darn good today even though I got, yet again, another NO vote on my latest art piece with no reason why. Oh bother. I do have a favor to ask of everyone. Steel Girl is thinking about taking her art down since she is really bummed about the entire art voting system. I think she is really a great artist and I don't want her taking her art down. So please help me convince her not to take her art down! Go check out her work and leave her some feedback. Thanks everyone! ^_^

Speaking of art, my latest piece has been posted and when I first looked at it I was at a huge...50%!! Woo Hoo!! I rock!! :P If you get a chance be sure to go check it out. It is my Chobits fan art!

I have a couple of more submissions for the WTF?!? contest. Flame060 and Julias Peach have sent me some images so be sure to check them out. I will still be taking submissions until the date/time change here on myO for the 23rd. I will change the link for submissions to be the voting booth. It will link to my email so we can have private voting "booths". This way you don't have to worry about hurting anyones feelings for not voting for their submission. Unless you don't vote for my images since I will know you didn't vote for me!!! Grrrrrr!!! Just kidding....please, vote for the one you think best represents...WTF?! ^_^

Now on to the question of the day!

Are you happy because you eat Lard?

Just kidding, I just figured it would tie in my question with the picture of the day. I am going to make a connection though.

When you were in grade school, what was your favorite after school snack? What was your favorite strange snack to eat that you wouldn't dream of eatting now?

For me, my favorite after school snack was also my strange snack that I wouldn't dream of eatting it now. I have no idea what I thought was so great about it....anyway......white bread, butter and sugar. Enough sugar to be a bit crunchy. I could be in the ad being happy eatting lard! I can't believe I ate those sandwiches...or my mom LET me eat those things!

Tomorrow I will be gone for most of the day since I am going to a wedding and I am in the wedding party. I have to help out with the decorating and reception...and clean up. I will do my best to visit everyones sites and finish updating any new submissions to the contest. Hope everyone has a great weekend and thanks again for stopping by.

Be Happy, Eat Lard!

   I am tired, but happy!

I feel like I am just going to pass out right where I am!

I am completely pooped out, but I am happy. My fan art with Jiji and Kuroneko has been posted and last I checked it was doing pretty good. I spent tonight watching Trigun with my hubby and doing another fan art piece. I don't care if some jerks vote no on my pieces since I know there are some people who enjoy them. That makes me happy. ^_^

Thanks you guys for incouraging me in my art projects. I am really enjoying the process. It has been alot of fun. ^_^

Ok, before I fall asleep at my computer I better ask my question for the day!

What is your favorite position to sleep in? Can you sleep anywhere under any condition or do you need it completely silent? Have you ever fallen asleep some place you shouldn't have?

I love to sleep on my right side with my arm under my pillow. I can sleep anywhere. I have slept on a gym floor, a chair at work, on the floor of a bus driving across the country and on the floor in the office of a vet clinic. If I am sleepy, I can sleep just about anywhere.

UNLESS...

There is a radio on. I find myself listening to the songs and it keeps me awake. Other noises don't bother me. As for falling asleep where I shouldn't have I think in church was probably the worst place to fall asleep. Oops.

I think it is time for me to go to sleep. Night all and hope everyone has a great day tomorrow...which is now today! Love you all and thanks again for voting on my fan art. You guys are the best!!

Now, time for me to return to my den....~_~ zzzzz

Today has been a pretty good day!

I can't help but smile today! ^_^

I have a couple of things to update you all on. I guess I will just start with an update on my WTF?!? contest site. Semjaza Azazel just submitted a bunch of great images so be sure to check them out! He has some great entries. Just click on the funky gnome award in my intro and you can view the entries! At the bottom of the first page is a link to page 2...yes, 2 pages of entries now! Woo Hoo! I am thinking if this become popular enough I will make it an annual event. I will then have to add a "Hall of Fame" section to the WTF?!? site! It might be interesting to see how bizarre things can get over the years. Don't forget to submit your pictures!

Today work was pretty easy, my boss sent me on errands so I was out of the office running around town for most of the day. Which I love since I was listening to a compliation cd of anime music I made. There is just something great about driving around on a sunny day singing along to songs from great anime! I am such a ham.

Now, on the questions of the day:

Do you sing along to your favorite anime songs? Do you mind if anyone hears you singing? What is your favorite song (anime or not) to sing along too?

For me it depends on what mood I am in. Today I was singing along to Saiyuki songs while driving around town. I don't like really singing infront of strangers but with friends I am a karaoke singing fool! My all time favorite song to sing along to is "Kissing a Fool" by George Michael. Now that I am thinking about that song I feel like singing!!

La La La Laaaaaaa!!!!
(You guys are my friends that is why I am singing infront of you! Don't you feel special! ~_^)

Don't you hate bad hair days?

I was thinking about my hair today. It was all a mess because it was raining, then the wind blew, then the sun came out and made it all humid. My hair looked really bad. Fuzzy is the word for it.

I normally don't worry too much about my hair. It use to be all the way down to my waist. When I started my medication for arthritis, one is a chemo drug, it started to thin so I cut it pretty short. Then I got red highlights put in which is something I had never done before. I like it. It definately is a change from my jet black hair!

One thing I cannot stand is excessively hairy people. I don't find the "missing link" look very attractive. For example:

I mean, it's nice to run your fingers through your boyfriend's hair...but there has to be a limit!

Now on to my questions of the day for everyone:

Do you perfer long hair, short hair or no hair? For you? For your boyfriend/girlfriend?

and

When does hair cross the line and become fur?

Thanks for stopping by my site and be sure to go check out my fan art and vote. I submitted another piece of fan art that hopefully will be approved. It is of Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service and Kuroneko from Trigun. Nothing fancy (as usual) but I had fun doing it. ^_^

See you all later...hope everyone has a good hair day!

I think we all need a group hug!

We need to banish all the bad vibes hanging around here! I've been looking around at some myO sites and it seems like many of us are stressed out about school, work, family, friends, our fan art...whatever. I think we all need something to get us out of our funk.

But what can we do???

Go on a killing spree?

No!

I think we all need to relax and think about those things that make us smile. It may seem a bit cheesy, but what do you expect from me?! My question to everyone is:

What has been the happiest moment in your life so far? When you think about this event you can't help but smile. It just gives you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.

For me it would have to be first time John told me that he loved me. I can still remember the butterflies in my stomach! Actually it was more than just a couple of butterflies I think it was a swarm! Thinking about that always makes me happy.

Now I want to hear about what memory makes you smile. ^_^ Everyone who shares a story gets a great big panda bear hug from me!!

::huggles::

I am a bit bummed tonight.

I know I am not the best artist in the world but it makes me kinda bummed so many people don't like my art....and won't leave comments on why they don't like it. I am not sure how I can improve if they won't tell me why they don't like it. Do you know what I mean? I guess I shouldn't let it get to me, but it is a bit discouraging.

I had some friends from out of town visit tonight so I didn't get to make all the rounds to everyone's sites like I normally do. If I missed you I am sorry and will be by tomorrow. I just feel a bit low right now. Don't worry too much. It is this time of the year that does it to me. I will probably explain later but my arthritis is acting up in my wrists today and I have been hurting on top of everything else.

Sheesh, don't I just sound like a dead fish...squid. LOL I don't want anyone being bummed so I will leave you with this....

When I saw this I thought it was very witty. I like witty. This game is something I think I could handle. Speaking of traffic violations...today I was sitting at my desk, looking out the window and across the street on a side street was a motorcycle police officer waiting to catch people.

He must have pulled over at least a dozen cars in the span of 1 hour. What is bad is it is a school zone so all traffice tickets are really pricey. I was thinking to myself that I should be happy that my Monday didn't start off with a speeding ticket!

Now for your question! Anyone here ever get a citation for breaking the law? If not the law, how about getting written up in school for doing something bad?

I would have to answer yes to both. I got written up for showing up to school too early one day. o_O I missed the school bus and my dad had to drop me off on his way to work. I was sitting outside the school and this teacher saw me and wrote me up! Is that stupid or what?!? I can understand not showing up to school and getting written up...but early? That was just stupid. LOL

As for breaking the law...I have 2 speeding tickets. I have the need for speed!!! Other than that, I am a law abiding citizen. Really. ^_^

Well, hope everyone is doing well and I will make the rounds to everyone's sites tomorrow. Night all!

   Words of Wisdom from Panda.

As you all know, I have warned of the dangers of drinking too much. You don't want to end up mostly naked walking some neighborhood looking for "the peter" now do you. Well here is something else to illustrate my point.

And for the guys...

Please, remember the importance of being extra careful if you decide to drink. You don't want to end up with (or worse yet, being!) the people above now do you?!

I only post this because I care.

Ok, moving on. I submitted a couple more pieces of fan art today. I know, I have just been on a drawing spree. I just have the drawing bug right now and it makes me happy. Of course I have been slacking off on a bunch of other stuff since all I want to do is work on my art. I guess I need to learn the word "moderation" someday.

If you get a chance be sure to go check out my fan art and leave me some feedback. I would really appreciate it. And a big thank you to those of you who have left me positive feedback, it makes me happy that people like my art. ^_^ I finally feel like I am good at something! Hooray for me!

Well, it is late for me so I best be going. Hope everyone has a wonderful week and remember the importance of using extreme caution when drinking. o_O

Do you ever feel like sometimes you bite off more than you can chew?

Today has been a very busy day. It started very early this morning when my brother came by the house to drop off some odds and ends. Since it was only my bro I answer the door with my hair a mess, glasses on, in my pjs, looking.... squidy.

I get myself together and John and I went out of town in search of manga. I got vol 2-5 Gravitation. I can't wait to start reading them. I couldn't find Naruto anywhere...that sucked. I want to start reading Alice 19th, but I couldn't find it either. At least I got Gravitation!

Today was the big day, I finally broke down and bought the box set of Trigun. I thought of you Mamma Vash when I got the set! I am watching it right now and for some strange reason I feel like eatting some donuts....

For lunch we stopped at the Olive Garden and ate waaaay too much food. I have enough left overs for dinner tonight. With all those carbs now I need to go run a marathon!

I submitted my next piece of fan art which is Shampoo in cat form. I think it turned out pretty cute. I am still debating on what doing next. I have really got the drawing bug. I haven't felt this excited about doing something in a long time. With my arthritis most of the things I use to do have become too difficult. I use to do alot of beaded jewerly. I use to even sell my stuff in a local boutique until my hands stopped working so well. Drawing has filled the creative void that beading use to. I am having fun and I guess that is the important thing.

John was really sweet and bought me my very own sketch book today so I could keep all my sketches together instead of using copier paper to draw. I am such a lucky girl to have such a great guy. ^_^

I have yet to make the rounds to everyones sites. I might have to put that off til tomorrow since I still have to have dinner, do laundry, dishes and take the dogs on walkies. It is hard to be squidy when there is so much stuff to do! I promise to catch up with everyone later!

LOVE AND PEACE!!!
