:D :D :D
Concert - went to. Still have sore jaws from all the yelling, but 'twas fun.
Graduation - boring, but still exciting at the same time. I didn't cry, but I got a lot of hugs. ^^ Got to hug my favorite professor, my grandparents, parents and my librarian friend. Also got monies from grandparents and family friends. Parts of me want to go to their houses and throw rocks for giving so much, but the other, more sane part is all "save it for stuff and send them a nice letter." I really would have been fine with just the hugs, guys!
Finals - grades up this morning...

Moar :D :D :D

All in all, a good weekend. :D I think I'm back now!

...oy.
Yesterday, I had what I like to call a "bad day".

I went down to register for the Praxis, which I thought I needed the scores for March 1 for my Millersville application (more on this in a minute), which would mean I needed to take it on Wednesday.

...soonest I could get in was a week from Wednesday. Sooo, I kinda hemmed and hawed and said I'd call 'em back to register.

Then I went and found out the application deadline for MU was not, as previously thought, March 1, but February 1.

Guess who, subsequently, is not going to MU in the fall now?

Then, while going through my transcript for HACC, I discover they've apparently misplaced one, three-credit class that I need to graduate. Mom and I both talked to the records department, then mom (love you, momma, thank you so much for your help D: ) finally (after much struggle) figured it out.

When I started, there was a 3 credit class needed for my major. It was cycled out before I needed it - but since I started BEFORE it was cycled out, it still shows on my transcript as being needed.

THIS is REALLY ANNOYING, because I asked my advisor about this in November when I would have had time to add one more class, and she never got back to me.

SO.

Summer class, no Millersville in the fall.

...

hoorah.

I WANT A DO OVER.

We found a way that - if the school still sticks by me needing this credit despite it not being on any of the req forms - I can still graduate on time and not have that summer class to worry about. But hopefully they get it worked out? Also: LOST is back, and back with a bang. Good episode - good distraction. Tomorrow's gotta be better, right?

Cloverfield and Carribean
I saw Cloverfield yesterday. It was a surprisingly good for a movie with one plotline and no explanations and a resolution that made me mad. But then, come now. JJ Abrams - creator of LOST. How could it be bad?

I've been following the viral, but only since...December? And it's been going since last June, so I guess that makes me slow on the uptake, I dunno.

I'm glad that the viral is there, though. It gives me the explanation the movie didn't. I don't know if it's meant to be canon to the movie-verse, or an alternate - much like Lost's the Lost Experience - universe to the movie-verse, but I'll take it as canon since Jason's wearing a slusho shirt. Slusho's site and "marketing," actually, remind me of Fruity Oaty Bars from another genius.

LOST starts back up in five days. I'm excited.

My theme is now Caribbean as I am becoming a Parrothead. I want to go there sometime - so pretty and relaxing, I could just watch the clouds all day and the stars all night...

Anyways. It's almost eleven and I need to shower. See y'all later.

   I'm still here...
Mostly. :) I've been strangely lately, last few days, weeks...months...I've gotten more into writing, and discovered a little thing called "Warcraft" and these twin forces are teaming up to make me forget things like blogs. Or, rather, having more than one blog.

I update my livejournal quite often, even if it is to just post random song lyrics. So I figured I should probably try to do that more here...provided you guys still want to know what goes on in the life of the Wizard of Ozy...;)

*sigh*
Life is cra-zeh, sometimes. I keep promising to keep this more updated, and then I fall behind. Ugh.

I've been doing pretty good lately, how about you cats? I've started working on what I like to call my Great Novel Project, a (perhaps overly?) complex story based on Mike Rutherford's solo record, "Smallcreep's Day." Currently it's only at 292 words, but I'm feeling good about it. My writing skills have improved lately.

I've suddenly become more interested in Adrien Brody lately, thanks to "The Pianist" and "The Jacket." The Jacket starts out as just a somewhat-pointless-thriller, but as it goes on it leaves you trying to figure out just what, exactly, is going on here; and The Pianist....the Pianist is probably the most moving, depressing yet hopeful movie I have ever seen. I would advise you not to watch it at night.

I recently bought a tablet and have been playing with it more, I like it very muchly.

And that's about all I can think of at this precise moment. Except I may be re-doing my layout here this afternoon before work...

Later!

-_-
Here we go again. Some three (or four?) months after my last post, and...well...here we are again.

A lot has hapened since my last post. The semester ended - I had three speechs, got As in all three - had a bunch of psychology tests - we'll leave the scores on those alone for now, heheh...and some other, boring stuff.

I actually made a new friend or two offline! Don't get me wrong, I love all my online friends, but it's nice to have a friend you can see, y'know? so I'm happy about that.

Now I'm taking the next semester off so I can earn money for my next semester. I want to do this with as few loans as possible, so if that means it takes longer...I can live with that.

So...that's about all I can think of right now. One of the other reasons I haven't really updated this journal as much as I would like is that I have a livejournal now. I tend to update that fairly regularly...

Feel free to friend me and stuff. :)

   The Update
Ok, here we are, the second week of September is actually done [YIKES!] and I am actually updating!

I've been at my new job for about three weeks, and it's nice. It's kind of boring, and kind of slow, but I like to talk to the elderly people who come in for lunch and sit there for hours drinking coffee. My boss calls me sweetie and jokes, and all three managers rarely even complain at you. They take into account the fact that I'm still learning, something I didn't get at my old job.

I have started three of the four classes I will be taking this semester - Foundations of Education and Western Civilization online, Psychology 101 in an actual classroom - and so far I've aced all the quizzes for the two online classes.

Psych just started last Wednesday, and it was an introduction class, so we didn't do much. I found out I have to write two papers for that, but they're short papers, three pages or so. And the professor looks like Ben Browder only with brown eyes.

I also met a nice boy there, my age and friendly. The fact that he has a motorcycle and lives within 300 yards of my house has my mom worried already...*giggles*

The class I'm really looking forward to - Speech - starts Monday night. I'm really excited...I like talking, so this could be interesting.

It's only a week until I'm nineteen...it still feels weird. It's like...when I was 12 and 13, the 19 and 20 year olds were the people I thought were SO cool...and now that I am that age, it doesn't feel all that cool. Strange, isn't it?

Oh, and I decided to change my layout...credit for the icon goes to samjack_girl, who makes wonderful icons and has a site here. Yes, I am a Stargate Shipper. I am that much of a geek. Bleah to you.

So...that's it for todays update. Hello, again. :)
