But there's this one particular harbor
So far but yet so near
Where I see the days as they fade away
And they finally disappear

:D :D :D
Concert - went to. Still have sore jaws from all the yelling, but 'twas fun.
Graduation - boring, but still exciting at the same time. I didn't cry, but I got a lot of hugs. ^^ Got to hug my favorite professor, my grandparents, parents and my librarian friend. Also got monies from grandparents and family friends. Parts of me want to go to their houses and throw rocks for giving so much, but the other, more sane part is all "save it for stuff and send them a nice letter." I really would have been fine with just the hugs, guys!
Finals - grades up this morning...

Moar :D :D :D

All in all, a good weekend. :D I think I'm back now!

...oy.
Yesterday, I had what I like to call a "bad day".

I went down to register for the Praxis, which I thought I needed the scores for March 1 for my Millersville application (more on this in a minute), which would mean I needed to take it on Wednesday.

...soonest I could get in was a week from Wednesday. Sooo, I kinda hemmed and hawed and said I'd call 'em back to register.

Then I went and found out the application deadline for MU was not, as previously thought, March 1, but February 1.

Guess who, subsequently, is not going to MU in the fall now?

Then, while going through my transcript for HACC, I discover they've apparently misplaced one, three-credit class that I need to graduate. Mom and I both talked to the records department, then mom (love you, momma, thank you so much for your help D: ) finally (after much struggle) figured it out.

When I started, there was a 3 credit class needed for my major. It was cycled out before I needed it - but since I started BEFORE it was cycled out, it still shows on my transcript as being needed.

THIS is REALLY ANNOYING, because I asked my advisor about this in November when I would have had time to add one more class, and she never got back to me.

SO.

Summer class, no Millersville in the fall.

...

hoorah.

I WANT A DO OVER.

We found a way that - if the school still sticks by me needing this credit despite it not being on any of the req forms - I can still graduate on time and not have that summer class to worry about. But hopefully they get it worked out? Also: LOST is back, and back with a bang. Good episode - good distraction. Tomorrow's gotta be better, right?

Cloverfield and Carribean
I saw Cloverfield yesterday. It was a surprisingly good for a movie with one plotline and no explanations and a resolution that made me mad. But then, come now. JJ Abrams - creator of LOST. How could it be bad?

I've been following the viral, but only since...December? And it's been going since last June, so I guess that makes me slow on the uptake, I dunno.

I'm glad that the viral is there, though. It gives me the explanation the movie didn't. I don't know if it's meant to be canon to the movie-verse, or an alternate - much like Lost's the Lost Experience - universe to the movie-verse, but I'll take it as canon since Jason's wearing a slusho shirt. Slusho's site and "marketing," actually, remind me of Fruity Oaty Bars from another genius.

LOST starts back up in five days. I'm excited.

My theme is now Caribbean as I am becoming a Parrothead. I want to go there sometime - so pretty and relaxing, I could just watch the clouds all day and the stars all night...

Anyways. It's almost eleven and I need to shower. See y'all later.
