Soap Operas!!!!
I am having the funniest time watching soap operas! It's amazing to watch and guess what happens next. 99% your right and it ends up being something totally stupid and predictable! But sometimes I get into a little bit but then I change my mind when the actors start flailing around like idiots. And just when I had a bit of faith in them too.
And it's strange, a lot of soap opera actors look like animals. We'll watch it and go, "Okay, Lucas is a turtle. Alex North (aka: past Roman) is a fish, Roman (aka: past Chris) is a bull dog. John Black is a frog. Whoever you are, you're a bird." XD
I feel so obnoxious when I watch a soap opera! Like I wanna run around screaming, "Weeeeeeee!!! Let's take a paternity test!!!"
...Yeah. So my little soap opera rant is over. Have a cookie.

Anyway, I finished writing the first chapter to my manga. Now my sister has to draw it.
For now I'll give you a little teaser into the story!
Okay, so Red Die #40 is a story about this girl who works at a casino/geisha house. And one day the girl looses her memory. Thus begins a story full of romance, comedy, action, sexy ladies, hot guys, dark secrets, monsters, heavy drinkers, card dealers and did I mention HOT GUYS!?
Yeah, so that's my advertising ploy. Ya think it will work?

   Gaia Online
I just joined Gaia online the other day. It's so fun. I wish you would all join too and maybe we could have a party in the towns! You can check out my profile here.

Well my Uncle Lee who lives in Virginia is coming down here to peach land to visit my grandmother. It's been almost four years since I last saw my Uncle Lee and I vaguely remember what he looks like.
It's funny, his ex-wife still comes to Christmas every year while he does not and we all still affectionately call her "Aunt Belinda." And her boyfriend, Mike, has been more of an uncle to me than Uncle Lee ever has. But still, I'm very glad to see him again. We're going to go to the pool friday and cook out at my great Aunt Lucy's house. I hope I don't tan any more. I was enjoying my white skin. lol
Well I gotta run,

   Doctor Zhivago!!!
I just saw the movie Doctor Zhivago and it has forced me to rethink my top ten favorite movies.
But before we get to that I have a funny little Zhivago story to tell.
Because this movie is so long it is on a double sided disk. Well I put the disk in and ended up watching the second half of the movie. I loved it but thought, "Gee, this is lacking in back story." But while watching the special features I saw a lot of scenes that I hadn't seen before. I thought, "Gee, maybe the cut them out." But then they talked about the first scene and I realized I hadn't seen the first half of the movie! XD
So I put in the DVD and watched the first half, it was really good. Now, I must rearrange my top ten favorites.

1. Gone With the Wind
2. Since You Went Away
3. Life is Beautiful
4. Imitation of Life
5. Doctor Zhivago
6. The Way We Were
7. Top Hat
8. We Were Soldiers
9. End of the Spear
10. Benny and Joon

I think that's it, but from The Way We Were down is subject to change.
Unless I find another instant favorite like Doctor Zhivago.
Well today Mum came back from the women's thing. She had fun. And we got ice cream from Asia. It was so good! Blueberry ice cream is what I had, made from real blueberries. Yum!

Today was the day...
Well today was the funeral. I didn't think I'd be so sad. But I was. My father did a very good job preaching the funeral. He brought a bit of humor into it. But the thing that broke me was seeing my grandmother cry. She doesn't cry or get emotional easily so it's really sad to see her cry. I feel bad for her, loosing her brother. They we're very close. And when I saw Uncle Denis at the funeral I felt a pang of guilt wishing it was his funeral instead.
When we went to the grave site it was about 100 degrees outside, no understatement. Since my uncle served in the military and was a Vietnam veteran there were military personnel present. They played the taps and removed the American flag from his casket, they folded it in a very orderly fashion and then they presented it to my Aunt Sonia, she was Uncle Sonny's wife. I nearly cried when the officer stood up and slowly saluted my Aunt Sonia.
The rest of the day I've been all emotional and crying whenever someone says anything remotely harsh or aggravating to me. But by the morning it will all be over... I hope.
Anyway after the funeral we went to eat at my Aunt Joy's house and ate. It was the first time in 12 years that all of my Great Grandmother's surviving children were in the same house together eating at the same time. My Grandmother Sue, my Aunt Nancy, my Aunt Ruby, My Aunt Joy and my Uncle Denis.
It's a shame it took my Uncle Sonny dying for them to come together again... a real shame.

Well, Mother is going to a conference tonight and tomorrow. After the funeral and eating we took her to a hotel where she met with some of our friends for a women's ministry thing. I hope she has fun, I miss her already.

Thanks, guys!
Thanks you to everyone who gave me their encouraging words.
Much love! *hugs*
It turns out that I'm not going to the viewing tomorrow, I have to stay at home because we hold church services at our home. My mother and father are going to the viewing and we will go to the funeral friday.

Yesterday we went to the pool yesterday and had a blast! I got a tan, much to my dismay. I was trying to keep my pale as long as I could. Everyone thinks it creepy or vampiric but I just think that pale skin looks better. In both winter and summer. *nods* Yes, indeed.
Today we went out to eat and it was so hard to chew because I got power-chains and rubber bands on my braces. They hurt very badly! But after we ate my mother got her nails and done and I got to see Tram. She's so quiet. But she's very sweet.
Well I've really nothing left to write about besides the fact that everyone's been gone lately. I'm trying to visit people's sites more.

P.S: (I added new media content on the Machi shrine. Check it out!

Laundry
Today we went to the laundry mat and did some laundry. I hadn't done that in quite some time. It was an interesting experience.
Well I found out today that my father will preach Uncle Sonny's funeral. He'll also sing two songs he's written, "The Midnight Cry" because Uncle Sonny loved that song and "I am in Heaven" because, well, it fits the occasion. It's kinda ironic too, the majority of times I saw Uncle Sonny was at funerals and the rare times when he'd visit my grandmother. The last time I saw him was at my cousin Tyler's funeral.
...I'm kinda rambling now, aren't I? You all must be sick of, "Sonny this, Sonny that," but I just like to get this stuff off of my chest.
Well anyway, I also found out today that this august I'm going to get into a evening gown and present awards to people in the ICGMA. Sounds fun, I'll most likely be gambling backstage! lol
And I've added more content to the Machi shrine. You can check it out by going to the link in the post below.

I was wrong...
It turns out that they aren't burring Uncle Sonny monday but they're holding a service in Florida wednesday. After the service their moving him up here to Georgia where there will be another service friday and then he'll be buried. That's nearly a week he'll be dead. By the time I see him he'll look pretty rough. I'm dreading that.
This makes me reflect on when Honorable King Edward VI died. It took them over nine days to burry him, because they had more important things to worry about than burring the recently departed King. But that was almost five hundred years ago, but it's still sad to think about. You're fifteen, your most trusted councilors poison you to make your death easier, you're forced to write a will that states your beloved cousin shall be queen. And after they die they wait until she's dead to burry you. Oh how my heart aches for the boy King.
Well on a lighter note today is father's day, so be nice to your dear old Dad.
We ended up not doing anything today. Dad went fishing with one of my uncles and when we called my grandparents to wish them a happy father's day we mentioned that Dad went fishing to my grandmother... we forgot it's a sin to fish on sunday. >.< I don't know who comes up with the holiness by-laws and stuff but that sounds kinda crazy to me. I've also finished adding a lot of content to the Machi shrine that Megumi and I own. Please check it out!
Well I've nothing much to write, just keep my family in your prayers.

   Last night...
Last night my great Uncle Sonny passed away. He had been very sick for a long time.
When I found out that he was sick I half wished it was my Uncle Dennis instead. I'm not close to Dennis and he's sort of estranged from the family. But my Uncle Sonny was very dear to me. He was a very funny person, sort of sarcastic. (this next part may seem a little racist but you had to know my uncle.)
Uncle Sonny was the only person in the world who would call the african american people who worked for him "niggers" and no one would be offended. (But he called everybody that.) They loved him, everybody loved him. He had diabetes that's how he got sick. There were a lot of complications and I sucky doctor. The funeral is going to be held monday or tuesday, I'm not sure. But i don't think I'll be able to update that day.
Well happy fathers day!

Update of my life... or something like that.
The day before yesterday I ran through a sprinkler with reckless abandon. I got soaking wet and I was shivering cold. But it was fun. Other than that it's been three hours of Trek a day goofing a bit on the net and that's about all. Until today, when a nice highlight was meeting a new person. Tram! She seems really nice and I hope we can be friends. Her parents own the nail salon my Mum uses religiously, her parents are really sweet and we know them well but today was the first time to meet Tram. They just moved from another town so her parents could be nearer to the salon and Tram doesn't have many friends in the area. And I know making friends in the summer can be hard for Public School kids because there is no "school environment."
That's about all that's happened lately.

SOOOOO BORED!!!
I am so bored! *cries* Nothing fun has been going on. The highlights of my days now are from 3:00 - 6:00 because that's when Star Trek:TNG come on. Gee, I am so bored. But something semi-fun happened today! Dad shot a commercial for the ICGMA. You can probably see it sometime this summer on the Angel Network and Country Gospel TV.
...Well other than that, nothing fun's happened. The net hasn't been very entertaining or exciting lately, either. Oh well, excuse my ramblings.
