   (Random Comment Here)
Well, my body's finally restored itself to normal. I'm waking up at or around five every day now(that's my usual waking time). Which is good, 'cause I like having time to prepare for school and its also good because I need to be at school by seven tomorrow... more on that later, er, now, I guess.

Tomorrow I'm going on a field trip(Yay!) with the gifted and talented program at my school. We're going to a college to tour the place and do some other stuff(don't know exactly what we are going to do... ^_^;). Its an all-day thing, literally; we're coming back at midnight or so, so I'll probably be asleep on the ride back... But if there's a time when I wish I had an mp3 player, it'd be now, 'cause the ride's an hour an a half long.

There should be a new background here by the time anybody reads this... Later.

All I Can Think Of To Type In This Section Is A Sentence Saying Exactly That
I'm tired, and for no good reason. Last night, after annoying my sister and niece for a prolonged period saying whatever popped into my head (think of something along these lines: "Miso soup!" repeated, "Run! It Gojira!" also repeated, and as many Power Ranger/ Super Sentai themes I could remember), I finally fell asleep... and after waking up and laying in bed until I feared lateness, got up and checked the time: 4:30. No, wait, I SHOULD be tired....

Today was a load of bollocks. ...I never thought I would actually use "bollocks" ever, but there it is... I went through first period and most of second period before my Spanish teacher(Spanish being my second period) got a call saying I had to report to OCR. For those of you who don't know what OCR is(read: everyone), its basically La Joya Community High School's own form of in-school suspension. Once there, I found out that I had to serve a day because of a missed detention last semester. Now, I don't ever remember getting a detention that I didn't serve last fall/winter, so I was skeptical, but I went with it.

After getting in my seat and hearing the obligatory instruction from the baby-sitter(that's basically what the man watching over the OCR class is) speed-read like he had said it a thousand times before(he probably had. No joke), I got to copying down a bunch of BS about the rules of OCR, the school's vision and beliefs, and then, to top it off, the six traits of writing! I remember the other stuff(I had served a nine-day stint in OCR in my sophomore year for looking up "inappropiate material" on the Internet. I don't want to go into it...) but the six traits? Come on, man!

So I was jailed and put through the ropes at the end of second period, and spent third and fourth(my lunch) copying the packet of "information" down, but fifth period came something interesting. I had just finished writing and pulled out a book from my backpack, when I got a tightly folded note from the person on my right. I don't know if he actually wrote it, but the contents of the note were, basically, to revolt against OCR by walking out and going to the administration at La Joya and demanding that they changed the policy. It also insisted on being passed on. It had a very "V For Vendetta" feel to it for me. I, once again, was skeptical; this time of the willingness of my fellow peers to actually do this. I don't think I should have been concerned, though. No walk-out happened today, though; I don't know if there was a signal to do it or something(the paper never detaile that) but nothing out of the ordinary occured. Instead, I fell asleep twice and didn't get caught either time(you weren't supposed to sleep in OCR).

So now, I'm in the school's library typing this up(of course). My eyes are red(stupid contacts...) and I about to wrap this up. One good thing(!), though; I'm borrowing Devil May Cry 3 from a friend, so I'm gonna start that as soon as I get home today. Later.

I Want To Be A Dashing Fellow...
Happy third day of the new year!

I'm not looking forward to going back to school...(which I do on Monday) I've had an unorthodox sleeping schedule during break, and I'm not sure if I can switch back to my usual schedule so quickly.

In other news, I've done basically nothing today except get some new anime songs. I got stuff from Death and Rebirth(Evangelion's first movie), .hack//Sign and .hack//Liminality, Gundam Seed, Ikkitousen(you might know this as Battle Vixens), and Hell Girl. Not much I really like, but I at least like them all to some degree, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten them.

The rest of the day was just vacation slacking-off, nothing interesting.

There's A Killer On the Road... His Brain Is Squirming Like A Toad...
Merry Chris-- ah, forget it. I had planned to at least say that yesterday, but time got away from me. My family had Christmas at my aunts yesterday and when I got home, I immmediately played Kingdom Hearts 2 so I could finish it(which I did). Its my second playthrough so it wasn't a necessity, but my sister hadn't seen the end yet, so I got through so I could show it to her. And that's what I did yesterday. Later.

"Do You Believe That Happy Crappy?" No.
Responses:
nabgeta, I already watched it and, well, more below.
And it scares me that you instantly knew that the anime I was watching were FUNimation anime, LS.

Its Friday, and the finals are done. I think I did okay in Spanish, I KNOW I nailed the English test... and I'm scared of my Chemistry and Algebra 2 scores... also, I missed my written Guitar final, but I'm not so scared of that since I had an A all year long and the worst I could get from missing a test of that magnitude is a C...

Courtesy of Sci-Fi, I was able to see Blood: the Last Vampire and Dead Leaves last Monday(although I didn't actually watch them until Tuesday...) Blood was... okay, I guess. I'm not really liking "Badass Saya"(as I call her darker side) in the movie or in Blood+. Although in the second episode it made for a really cool quick fight, "Badass Saya" is better in moderation for me. Now, Dead Leaves... that one lived up to the hype. F****** sweet, and I would repeat that ad nauseum if I had time. Gainax's track record continues unmatched... for now. Later.

   How Am I Doing This?!
Staying up, I mean; Its 3:00 a.m. right now, although my subject line can be taken as a reference to Chappelle's Show...

Eh, its finals week at my school right now; Wed., Thurs., and Friday we get out at 10:30 because we take finals for two classes each day, and each one is an hour and a half long. I'd rather get out early than go in later, anyway...

Mmmph, I keep forgetting to mention a couple more anime that I've seen over the time that I wasn't on:

Kiddy Grade(didn't watch much of this one; it didn't interest me much, although the fan service did... giggidy.)

Kodocha(Now, I thought this one was hilarious. I've only seen the first thirty or so episodes, though; there's over 100 episodes.)

Blue Gender(well, I'd seen this one before, but I was able to finish it as of late. Freakin' depressing... more depressing than Elfen Lied, and that's saying something.)

Case Closed(more interesting than I'd first taken it for. Still haven't seen all of it, though.)

That it, I think. Later, and if you're taking finals right now like me, good luck!

The Cake Is Still A Lie
Same old, same old here today. Something weird happened Sunday that I must share, though...

We (as in me, my younger and older sisters, my niece and my mom) had just gotten home from church. We hadn't even been home a half an hour when the door knocks, and who should be behind that door but a policeman! He said that they had just gotten not one, but two 911 calls from my house just recently. I was the one who answered the door; my older sister and my mom were upstairs and my younger sister was still downstairs with me. My mom comes almost immediately and I let her handle the situation from there. She eventually turns to Dylece, my niece, and asks her if she was playing on the phone(she's only 5). Dylece gives an inconclusive answer, and my mom immediately assumes she did it. Dylece, sensing a beating imminent, tries to get away, but I block her(I'm sick, I know). She then turns the other way, screaming already even though nobody's touched her yet, and runs right into the vacuum sweeper. I'm holding my head in disbelief by now; my mom's like "What the hell are you doing?!" to Dylece, and Maya, my younger sister? Just standing there. My mom by now has some instrument of whooping in her hand(I can't remember what it was exactly), and then the doorbell rings AGAIN. The cop's back again, saying that someone just called 911 from our house AGAIN. Well, we eventually realize that we do have two phones, therefore, someone else could be doing this. Doresse, my older sister, goes to find the phone in my brother's room with him(who had been asleep the whole time, as he had stayed home from church). My mom figured that Dorian, my brother, had been pressing the buttons in his sleep by laying on the phone, which seems kind of far-fetched to me, but not impossible. Dylece, however, had been spared a beating, although she may have done it the first time...

There's A Lady Who's Sure... That Her Roast Is Burning...
Whenever I run at school, Sinister Sundown from Kingdom Heart 2 plays in my head for some reason. If you've never played KH2(do that now), or you don't know which song I'm talking about, its number 3 on my playlist up there. Anyway, its very strange... I think I've played the game too much...

Not much to say this morning, except that I'm pissed because I fell asleep before Death Note came on. For some reason, I set Blood+ and Samurai Clamploo to record, but forgot about Death Note. So if you saw it, what happened? I know Light enters college...

   Lazy Afternoons At Taco Bell
There's a reason why you shouldn't eat barbecued chicken, chicken strips, and a turkey leg at the same time, and its smelly...

I've finally posted a subject title that's consistent with what I actually post. Twice in the past week, I've gone to Taco Bell after school with a group of friends... all sophomores.(I have not asked them to address me as "sempai" yet, but I'm getting there.) Usually we just shoot the breeze and make each other laugh so much we spit soda all over the table, but today I learned a startling fact: a former friend... has become a bitch. My group had mentioned her several times already (usually combined with words like "hate", the other word for a female dog, "she's"...) but it wasn't until today when I inquired more that I found out that she was someone I knew and used to talk to regularly. We were both in our school's Theatre Club(formerly Drama Club, but other circumstances caused it to... I'm getting off track) and that where I saw her the most. She had no bitchy qualities about her then, but now it appears as though something has changed. I might've not believed it if all of them hadn't confirmed it, and now I'm kind of concerned... for her, I mean.

Oh, yeah, the contact mystery has been solved(was solved... yesterday). nabgeta was right, it had slipped up my eye, apparently. It came back down on its own, though, so nothing to worry about. I went back to the eye doctor yesterday and now the trial period is over! We(my mom and I) ordered my contacts, and now I've just got to wait.

For better or ill, the Huckleberry Finn portion of Junior English is over! We finished presentations today, and after falling asleep the first day and not being at school the second, I was determined to make a good impression. Nevertheless, I was extremely anxious to the point that when I was talking my hands were slightly shaking and my face was hot. I made it through more smoothly than the other times I had presented so far, so I was content afterwards.

"Dance, water, dance!"
Later.

   The Cake Is A Lie
My mom was chanting "I want a Wii..." earlier. It got creepy pretty quick.

Bad thing today. My sister just got Transformers from Netflix, and I had come home to watch it. I fell asleep, though, because I had stayed up till one the night before working on an essay(I had started nodding off in my last period of school; the teacher had to come over and nudge me, and since we were in a circle created by desks, everybody could see what happened. My face was hot the rest of the period...). A sharp pain in my left eye caused me to wake up, but I was so disoriented that I couldn't tell what was going on. I cleared my eyes only to look right into the eyes of my sister's dog, Aslan(yes, like the lion...). I immediately got scared and checked my eye in the bathroom to see my fears come true: my contact wasn't in anymore. I knocked Aslan out of the way and checked the chair, but it wasn't aywhere. I could only assume that Aslan had eaten my contact somehow. This is worse than it may seem because my left eye is my weak one and I need two contacts for school AND the eye doctor tomorrow. My mom told me not to worry, but I can't help but do that.

Not to mention that this is crackdown week since next week is finals and the end of the first semester... so I'm already somewhat stressed.

Good thing: I tried the new peanut butter Snickers. It was delicious. Later.
