Konnichiwa! Current Mood: Tired Current Song: Oi, minna-sama... Momo desu. Since I have to stay home sick today and I'm really bored, I decided to conduct a Kyo survey. What do you expect from DIRU in the future? 15. What do you expect from this site? My Answers 1. December of 2004... that glorious, glorious December. XD 2. No, but I have worn his lipstick from the MACABRE era to school on Halloween. ^^; 3. Yes. I had a goldfish that I named "Little Kyo", a nickle named "Kyo Jr.", and I currently have a teddy bear named "Tooru Kuma." 4. No, but I desperately want to. 5. Please, don't rub it in... *sniffs* 6. My favorite era of DIRU is definately the "VULGAR" era, although I am also quite partial to the "Kisou" era. ^-^ 7. I definately believe that music is far more important than style. I believe that their music has changed, but I still love their work. As for their style, I have no place to critize their style. The only thing I dislike about their new style is how much more Kyo is mutilating himself. I think it's incredible that he puts so much passion into his work, but I still wish he wouldn't hurt himself. 8. I have so many songs that I love... put I am quite partial to songs like "THE FINAL" and "-mushi-", etc. 9. My favorite albums are in the following order from greatest to least-"VULGAR", "Kisou", "MACABRE", "Withering to Death.", "sixUgly", "Gauze", and "Missa". 10. I can say for sure, but probably "THE FINAL" or "Child Prey." 11. Kyo is my favorite member, definately. If you want to know why, please read yesterday's post. 12. No. I love yaoi, but for some reason I can't bring myself to read any fanfiction. However, I do find it adorable whenever Die cuddles Shinya and Kaoru and Toshiya share a soda. ^//^ 13. If I were to meet Kyo, I'd try to tell him how much he means to me and how he's changed my life. I'd probably just end up babbling and tripping over my Japanese, but I'd try. ^^; If I were to give him on present, I would give him a mobile of 1000 paper cranes that he could hang somewhere. That way, he would be reminded that there are fans all over the world that care about him and cheer him on everyday. 14. I expect DIRU to stay true to themselves, their music, and their fans. That's all I ask of them. 15. I expect Kyoko and I to spread the knowledge of DIRU and Kyo. Hopefully we can get people hooked on DIRU or encourage people to appreciate their music even more. ^-^ Damn... that was longer than I meant it too. -_- Oh, well.    Naze?

Konnichiwa! Current Mood: Happy Current Song: Hello, everyone. This is Momo posting. ^-^ For my first contribution to the Kyo cult, I have a question for you all: Why do you love Kyo? I know, it can be hard to explain, but do your best. I discovered Dir en grey two years ago. I discovered them through a picture on someone's website on MyOtaku. I thought that Kaoru was the best looking, but for some odd reason I couldn't take my eyes away from Kyo. It was like he had cast some type of spell on me... I was captivated by him but I had never heard his voice, never heard his name, nothing of the man. Finally, I listened to "Cage." His voice was so beautiful, so breathtaking, that I had to find more out about him. I listened to songs from their album "Gauze" and I was completely shocked. Slowly, Dir en grey became my favorite band... and Kyo became my new obsession. As I soon found more out about him, and discovered "Vulgar", I was convinced that I was in love with Kyo. By now I had completely forgotten about Kaoru and knew that Kyo was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. I came to read his lyrics and was brought to tears. His feelings were so vibrant, so true and beautiful that I couldn't control myself. From then on, Kyo has been my favorite lyricist and poet. Whenever "Withering to Death" came out, I was blown away once again by Dir en grey. Their music had changed, but I still loved every single note, every single lyric. Their sound might have shifted a little, but their message was still clear and my love had stayed true. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love Kyo because of many reasons. Too many reasons to name. His voice is indiscribably gorgeous, he brings out the horrors of society that people wish to ignore, he puts so much passion into his work, he gives his all for the fans, he doesn't care what anyone says, he stayed true to his dreams, he overcame heartbreak that almost ruined his career, and he's such a lovely person. All of these things I listed just barely scratched the surface of my passion. Kyo is my inspiration, my idol, my hero, and my heart. I hope this has made any sense. ^^; I guess I kinda got caught up while typing this. But, please, let Kyoko and I know why you love Kyo.
