My Avatar

Salutations visitor, welcome to this humble place. Often, people describe me as serious and somewhat cruel with my words, specially to women, they say I do not give them enough chanse. The truth is I will stand for no idiocity.
My hobbies include, but are not limited to, computer programming, mathematics, stargazing, simulations, chess, propulsion systems, philosophy, manga and anime.
I like to discuss what truth stands for, what is right and wrong, what life is useful for, and what mission have we been set to carry out. Not to forget, I play chess regularly. If you have the Chessmaster 10th edition, we might play each other any day over the inernet, so watch out for my Rui Lopez or my Sicilian-Dragon.
Also, I am a big fan of classical music. My collection is rather large when it comes to this subject. My favorite composer is JS Bach. My favorite orchestra is the Berlin Phylarmonic Orchestra, and my favorite conductor is Maestro Herbert Von Karajan (although he retired alredy).
In any case, welcome.

Shin Seiki Evangelion (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
And so, I have finished watching the entire Evangelion series. I must say I am quite amazed with the philosophical and psychological part of this series. The end of the world, a new Eve and Adam, the third event that wiped out humanity, the Human Instrumentality Project... It will all take some time for me to fully ascimillate and probably I will have to rewatch it again, but it is worth it. I do encourage to watch the Evangelion series, however, only for an audience 16 years old and up.

Elfen Lied
And thus, I finished watching all of Elfen Lied. This anime was excellent. The storyline was flawless and the character development was great as well. The animation was very detailed as well, and the OST is something to bow down to. I recommend this anime, but because of its content, I recommend it for mature audiences.

Shin Seiki Evangelion (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Today I finally bought me 'Death and Rebirth' and 'The End of Evangelion'. As of now, I finished watching Death. It was a recapitulation of the series, but it was good the way they did it. Now for the new plot (I hope).
More to follow on this soon...

Love Hina
It is decided. This weekend I will add Love Hina to my anime collection. Love Hina is my favorite anime, it is a shame though that it loses quality in the two movies and the OVA. The manga is very good though. Volumes 5 and 6 of this series will go into my collection this weekend as well.

Elfen Lied
Today I watched the first episode of Elfen Lied. The opening theme of this anime suprised me. Instead of having a J-Pop/Rock entry, it was a Latin Chant, and the images were a bit abstract, even cubist, depicting a lot of nudity. The contents of the episode itself were rather violent, and again, a lot of nudism. I was not psychologically prepared for this, thus I must admit, it took me by surprise. Hikaru no Go
This anime has exceptional quality in animation and character development. It also makes me think about the actual game, and it has made me want to learn it. I have been searching for good Go books but I have found none so far.
