   Just Stick to It
OMG-- crawling out of comforters, poking a wary head through pillows and plushies, Mamma Vash steps out of the bed, and pads down to the computer room. Keeping on the sunglasses, she flicks the switch and attempts again to get any program to work. Chester the Computer has been a feisty, and sneaky machine for many days. blip-- strange messages flick on, then a time clock displayed then all goes blank. The Blue Screen of Death! Mamma Vash grasps her plushie, alarmed by the randomly timed messages, wondering what could they mean-- how did they get there? Could this be a terrible plot by anime villains--to drive the blurry eyed and isolated Mamma Vash to the edge of sanity? And where did Vash the Stampede dissapear to during the crisis of the Hopeless Technology (Krispy Kreme I'm betting!)

Ah, a little drama. It turned out to be a virus in Chester that was hidden, and took 3 attempts by techs to fix. The machine was totally unpredictable-- you know its bad when you bring the machine for a "tune-up", and several technicians get called in to assist (after the first try).My eyes are better now--had a reaction to the first drops, then needed a second antibiotic, but its contained. However, 6 days of relative isolation is enough to make anyones thoughts drift toward random.
Milkycat had suggested a contest of drawing stick figures which I think is super. Well, I added the stick version of Vash (I guess you could call it Vash the Stick=ede).

From all this, I think I'm beginning to start out on my journey to find what's essential-- and always come to the first marker reading FRIENDS--- because you cannot go more than a few yards down the road of Life without them. You are precious and wonderful, and often brighten darkened rooms of others without being aware you have done so. Thank you, and I send my friends love and peace, hopefully some humour, and suggest tomorrow you celebrate a Happy Donut Day !
