+ I'll love you always Mel, never forget 2-1-06 +
Ok, so I haven't posted in a while and so I'm not going to promise that I'll update more. I will promise that I'll post on the big issues in my life, and I'll comment you guys when I get the chance. Now for the purpose of this post.
One year ago today, 2-1-06, one of my friends, Mel, commited suicide. So this is a post to remember her and here's a poem.
To Realize
"to realize the value of a sister,
ask someone who doesnt have one.
to realize the value of 10 years,
ask a newly divorced couple.
to realize the value of 4 years,
ask a graduate.
to realize the value of 1 year,
ask a student who failed the final exam.
to realize the value of 9 months,
ask a mother who gave birth to a new born.
to realize the value of 1 month,
ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
to realize the value of one week
ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
to realize the value of one hour,
ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
to realize the value of one minute,
ask a person who has missed the train, bus, or plane.

ask a person who has survived an accident.

Sorry if this put a shadow on your day, for that's not the meaning, nor is it for you to pitty. Just remember everyone not to take things for granted in life, tell your friends you love them often, and take the opportunities life gives you. Forget the grudges and remember the good times you've had, when you look back on your past you'll remember the fun you've had. You can't go back to fix your mistakes nor will you get a 'redo' in life. Give no excuses and have no regrets. Time Flies.
