Love= represents a range of human emotions and experiences related to the senses of affection and sexual attraction the word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure to intense interpersonal attraction this different of meanings combined with the complexity of the feelings involved makes love unusually difficult to consistently define even compared to other emotional states
As an abstract concept love usually refers to a strong, ineffable feeling towards for another person even this limited conception of love however encompasses a wealth of different feelings from the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love Love in its various forms

Unrequited love= is love that is not reciprocated even though reciprocation is usually deeply desired The beloved may not even be aware of this persons deep feelings for them This can lead to feelings such as depression low self-esteem, anxiety and rapid mood swings between depression and euphoria being such a universal feeling it has naturally been a frequent subject in popular culture
A broken heart is a common term used to describe the intense psychological pain one feels after losing a loved one (a.k.a break ups) through death, divorce, or other means as in breaking up with someone or having your partner move away. It is an extremely old and widespread metaphor that dates back to at least the time of the Ramayana where it was commonly used
Heartbreak is usually associated with losing a spouse or loved one, though losing a parent child pet or close friend or realitive can also break ones heart.
Puppy love= is an informal term for feelings of love particularly between young people so-called for its resemblance to the adoring, worshipful affection that may be felt by a puppy. The term is often used in a derogatory fashion describing emotions which are shallow and transient in comparison to other forms of love such as romantic love.
Puppy love also commonly known as a crush can also describe the love or lust of a child or adolescent for an adult. For example a student being attracted to his or her teacher could be considered puppy love In this case the term relates an infatuation which is not reciprocated the term may be argued from some people as patronising and belittling of genuine emotion.
