   JYU HO SEI

ANOTHER POST OF A REVIEW... Hmm...been watching a LOT of animes lately...so pardon me... ^_^



GENRE: Fantasy/Sci-fi/Tragedy/Romance
PLOT/ REVIEW:
Well, this is a shot anime series about this young 11 yr old boy named Thor who has a twin, Rai. They live in space normally until their parent's were assasinated and they were thrown into a chaotic planet named, Chimera where prisoners are isolated. And then comes the death of his twin, Rai. The story is really good when it started...the suspense...the struggle of a young boy who became victorious at such a young age and he turned into quite a man. But when it neared the ending...BE WARNED! A LOT of disappointments. If you're a tragedy-lover like me though, it's good...but it's a bit TOO sudden for my taste. Like i said, it's an 11-series anime. So it's so sort that i think they hastened the ending..hehe.. But all in all, i kindda like it...not too dragging - not too short either. I just hated the fact that Tiz died in the end! Urgh! HUhuhu! And just as Thor was beginning to really love her! SHEAYTS! T_T

   MONSTER

GENRE: Thriller/ Suspense
SUMMARY: This is a story about a doctor's life that turned very...very wrong. This might come out as a spoiler...SPOILER ALERT! Don't read beyond if you hate spoilers!!! OKAY! A doctor saved a boy who grew up to be a Psychotic Killer. The doctor took it as his responsibility to arrest the kid or at least, straighten him out. But things eventually got worst because the boy has a twin sister which he plans to kill... For an anime, this series is a MUST SEE!!! It BEATS a lot of horror flicks that are now in the movies!!! If you don't believe me, go watch! Even my auntie who is an ACTUAL DOCTOR loved this anime... Take note, she doesn't like cartoons. So what does that tell you??? Ehhh??? *wink* This anime series is REALLY GOOD.

   NANA

Since there are a LOT of people curious about NANA...here's a review i made in one of my sites...


Genre: Slice of Life
Summary: Story about two girls who are totally different - a rocker and a hopeless romantic...ended up living in one apartment and learning about each other... They got involved with each other's lives and became very good friends...i would say bordering on YAOI (gay) relationship because of possessiveness...but it was soon disolved later in the story. They both have their own love interests and the reality of it all is just...GREAT! Though i should say that this anime might make you think of it as less than reality...I believe things like these happen. And like all AI YAZAWA creation, this anime made me cry... Well, this is the anime i cried the most...next will be "Grave of the Fireflies" by Miyazaki... But this one's a winner. If you love ROMANCE? If you love REALITY? If you love the thrill of ROCK and ROLL? Watch this! It's blow ya away!!!
