   Time for an update.... finally!
Well, I do apologize for not being very forthcoming with posts this week. It's been a pretty weird week. And I'm about to go into a weekend that is sure to drive me up a wall quite quickly. I'll try to remember what all happened this week.

Sunday: worked. Was bored out of my skull for most of the night. I think I posted about that on Sunday night.

Monday: worked. Was pretty busy. I had a really freaky experience on the way home after work though. I was on the receiving end of a psycho-lady's road rage. I was driving along the one highway that leads into my hometown. When I turned onto the highway and pulled out of the town at the intersection, I was on the road by myself. I glanced at the rearview mirror and saw some headlights way behind me. I had my cruise control set at 55, which is what the highway is posted. Suddenly the headlights were right behind me! These were those really bright blue lights that everyone seems to have now, and were filling all my mirrors with annoying bright light. I slowed down to get the person to pass me. She wouldn't!!!! There was nobody coming at us and she just stayed behind me. I finally pulled over to let her go by. As she went by, I forgot to turn off my own brights. That's when she snapped. She pulled over so I ended up going around her. Then she pulled up right behind me, even closer than she had been before, and had her brights on. I pulled over again. She flew by me, honking the whole time. Then she turned around up ahead and came at me with her brights on. She turned around behind me and tailgated all the way into my home town. I was really freaked out by this point as she kept right on my tail. I was hoping like mad that the town cop was on Main Street. Fortunately, he was. I flashed my lights at him and pulled into the center parking area. The psycho-lady pulled up right behind me. The cop did a u-turn and pulled up behind her. She got out of her car and was about to come and do who knows what to me, but the cop stopped her and talked to her for a while. She was waving her arms around while talking to him, pointing at me, pointing towards the highway. Eventually the cop came up to me and got my side of the story. I told him what happened and that I had forgotten to turn off my brights the first time she passed me. I also told him I was very happy to see him because I didn't want her to follow me home. He said I could go home and he'd talk to her some more. Now, usually, I leave my car out in front of the house, but I didn't that night. I put it in the garage, because I know she saw which way I turned and I still don't want her to know where I live. I was really scared by the whole experience.

Tuesday: day off. Did laundry. Stayed in the house for most of the day. Finally left the house late in the afternoon when my brother wanted to walk downtown.

Wednesday: worked. Was pretty busy again. Admittedly, I was a little scared of driving home that night. Heck, I was a little scared of driving to work! I did stop at the grocery store on the way home so I killed some time. Fortunately, I didn't encounter the psycho-lady again. I hope I never do.

Thursday: day off. Went to SUX to do a little shopping. That was a big bust. My nephew is getting married the end of this month and I was looking for something to wear to the wedding. I found a top that would go with a skirt that I have, but I took a picture of myself wearing it with the skirt and decided it is definitely not going to work. I guess I gotta go back to Old Navy & take the top back. I don't know what to do now. I hate clothes shopping. I think I'm probably a perfect candidate for that What Not to Wear show.... *sigh*

Well, that's what my week has been like so far. Here's what's in store for me... Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Work. With the little psycho, of course, because I'm the only one that has to work with the idiot! Arrrgh. It's over twelve hours before I have to go to work and already I'm getting into a bad mood because of it. I really need a new job.

So... I need to wander off and do some other stuff online here. Sorry for being so wordy!!!

Laters!

Additional: A comment from yesterday's post mentioned something about it being the shortest post.... well, this one more than makes up for it, wouldn't you say? :)

And in reply to comments about the noisy sporting event.... it wasn't a hockey game, it was a football game. Hockey is much more subdued than indoor football when it comes to crowd noise.
