   An explanation...

Well. I do believe I said I'd explain my avoidance of this site, didn't I? Here's some relatively lame excuses for you...

1. I had to work four days in a row with the nosy little psycho that loves to read my email and so forth over my shoulder, so I tended to avoid using the computer for anything unrelated to work.

2. I actually started to draw things. Yes. Me. Pencils. Paper. Copics. Pictures!!! One is done, and I just may post it here in a few minutes.

3. I'm also having serious problems getting out of bed at any time before 10:30 (on average), so trying to get stuff done before I go to work just doesn't happen.

4. The weather is sucky...

Okay. So that last one isn't really a good excuse, is it?

I also discovered that I have an inflamed tendon in my right hand. But as I'm left handed, it hasn't made any difference with my drawing or other things. It's just an annoyance. It's been going on since early September. I have no idea what I did to inflame the thing. I have good days and I have bad days with it. Yesterday wasn't the best day because the day before was so very windy that I had to have a two-handed death grip on the steering wheel on the way to work.

And speaking of cars... I've finally paid off the work I had done to Onigiri. Yay. Unfortunately that left me dang near broke for two weeks.

*sigh*

   Umm... hi.

Yeah. I do exist!! It's been a month & a half, but I'm still here. Just been working and avoiding creativity. Or creativity has been avoiding me... I dunno.

sbsp13668: No, you won't be smacked for not knowing what Torchwood is. It's one of the spin-off series from Doctor Who. I'm still wondering how they're going to come back after Children of Earth!!! Arrgh!

Mamma Vash: *glomp* I watched lots of Doctor Who in airports and on airplanes. I was surprised my iPod didn't go dead on me! And, yes I am still working on the kana & kanji. It's slow going, but at least I'm trying, right?

Hieiartemis: I took my iPod & laptop to work with me the next day & it synched almost instantly. *growl* At that time I had moved the files on my laptop to a portable hard drive and had to re-sync the thing. That's why it was taking so long. Now that that's all done, it just takes a few minutes to sync things.

Well...that's it for me! I'm gonna try to be here a little more often.

   Still alive and wondering what's going on....

I'm alive. Yes. That's a fact.

I've been busy at work. I've been existing from day to day in a partial state of apathy. Well, not entirely apathy, but somewhat frustration. I've got a mental block about my project for deviantArt and DACAD. I need to get over that. FAST! The first part of the project is due August 5th. That's not too far away, is it?

I'm getting tired of waiting for my iPod to sync completely. It's been attached and sync'ing for over 13 hours now. I guess that's what I get for putting all my downloads into one location and having to re-sync the thing so I can see my latest downloads: Torchwood: Children of Earth.

Yeah... mildly hooked on Torchwood again. But still incredibly hooked on Doctor Who!

Well, time to check on the iPod again... It's on file 340 of 438, which is 'Day 5' of Children of Earth. Maybe once that gets done, things will go faster again. Or not... I just checked again and it's on an episode from the first season of Torchwood. ARRRRGH!!!!!

I've decided that I'm letting the thing go until 2:00, then I'm stopping it again and will have to finish the sync later.

*sigh*

   Wow.. How time flies!

Haven't been here since last month!!! *rofl*

My life hasn't been to exciting or I would have posted. Well, it's been interesting this past week. Some weird stuff went down at work and I am now just doing my job and keeping my head down so when the sh*t hits the fan, I don't get splattered!

I've also been working on an ongoing project over on deviantArt. It's a big thing they've got for DACAD, and I'm basically taking my character Hikaur into a completely different direction than what you here have read in my stories.

And speaking of the story... I am a little stuck on it right now. Have been for quite a while, actually. Hopefully, I'll be able to get going on it again. Wish me luck!

Day off and goofing around now. Whee!!!! I did do some stuff that needed to be done today up in LeMars, including eating a huge ice cream cone for lunch.

I feel lots better than I did last week. I'm into the mildly angry stage now. Yet I'm in an oddly good mood right now.
