Vote or Die
Remember that artbot design I thought about submitting to Threadless, but decided not to? I changed my mind. :3

I never considered that I'd have to reduce it to four colors, though. That was a bit of a task, and it really shows in the eyes. But go! Vote! Comment!

*will edit later with CC*

Tony: The contest was to take a picture of yourself interacting in some way with theO or one of the other sites. I lost to an unimaginative InuYasha pic. :D

DDG: Watch out for the Sharpie. :P

Shin: lol, I don't think there's a single aspect of that movie that wasn't marvelous.

Mimmi: Bwehehe, thankee. :3

Vankala: Haha, yes, next time indeed. ;D

Blockhead knows a lot of people, and he wants to be just like them.
theO contest entry. (I hope it's not too late.)

Hey, you try using a Sharpie on Peeps.

Unimaginitive Boy!
I'm finishing a choice project for my Graphics class today. The assignment was really broad, basically create anything printable that you want to with Illustrator and/or Photoshop. Hell, it could even be a webpage, heh. The only requirement is that it can be printed on paper, or any three-dimensional material at all. So I was pretty disappointed that the best I could come up with after many class periods spent staring at a blank Illustrator file was a pie tin (er, pi tin) cover, which I'm going to put on top of an actual tin. I had spent the entire time trying to think of the best project I possibly could, and when I failed to do that, I unfortunately settled for a much simpler idea.

So it's only ironic that the day I finish it and go to get it printed, I think of something I'd much rather do: a vinyl album cover. It's probably much less original than a pie tin, yeah, but I think what appealed to me so much about it was the very large space for and focus on the art facet of it. So I decided that, just for kicks, I'd go ahead and see if I could finish it in a day or two and submit that instead. I only got very, very little done on it, though, so I guess I'll just stick with the pi. :P

It was still an interesting plight, and I might finish it if I can fight my lack of motivation. Not that I should finish it, because that would even further stall the many other uninspired projects I've still got to get done eventually.

I need deadlines. My babies starve without them. =(

-_-
Internet's down. SBC decided it would be a smashing good time to charge us $200 for things we were specifically told we wouldn't be charged for. So we haven't paid it, and we're thinking of maybe switching ISPs, and by golly, blah.

EDIT: Samurai Champloo! I forgot to mention, I rented the first four episodes at Hastings this weekend. I like it a lot, and Fuu is adorable. :3

James: The Wachowskis have made their fair share of awful mistakes, lol. They're better with ideas than they are with execution, which is why I'm kinda glad they weren't directing V.

And they've already got Macs that can run both OSs, I'm pretty certain. If I'm wrong, then they will in maybe a matter of a handful of months.

Windows
Birthday was fun, me and a few friends went out to see V for Vendetta. That is a great, great movie, and it should be seen by all. Except for the main fight scene. Boy, that was bad. I don't think they did, but if the Wachowski Brothers had anything to do with the direction of that, then I'm going to have a grudge against them until they die.

I haven't gotten any presents yet, since even I forgot about it until a week before, lol, but that's not really a concern for me anyway.

Also, our computer, which had been out of commission for over a year now, was finally gotten back to us! Or, well, no it wasn't really. Apparently the guy who was fixing it for us just found us a new computer left over from his work with the same specs, and (finally) Windows XP. Which is absolutely fine by me. :P

But now I'll encounter the name Windows XP every time I start it up, and every time I'll think about the XP smiley. And on that note, Kevin owes me a graphic. A graphic that nobody in the world gets to see, but if you saw it, you'd know why.

But, hrm, yeah, having two OSs in the house is great already. For the longest time I'd gotten into the mindset of "hey, that's great software, too bad there's a 98% chance I can't use it", and now it feels like that door has been flung back open and 15 feet of the wall on either side demolished to make for a better view. I had thought before about buying a MacIntel or future equivalent (whenever I get into a position to buy a computer, that is, which won't be for years and years anyway XP), partitioning the hard drive, and throwing Windows on there, so I can have the best of both worlds in one machine, and now that idea is seeming even more appealing.

Aleia: Well, of course you can. You have to if you want to take pictures from the eyes up. ;o

Raina: So I didn't feel like changing the mode to red-eye. Sue me. :P

Shin: WEE-A-BOO! WEE-A-BOO!

That was the best birthday present ever. Thank you, Shin.

Mimmi: Thank you, Miss Mimmi. -^_^-

Word disassociation
No pictures of the new car, since it's already too dark to take them. Just know that it's a hunter green Suburban, and it's sparkly clean, and you should be able to picture it. =P

2560x190. Click at your connection's risk. :o

And of course, since it's a picture of only the top half of my face, I had to do the pointy-eyebrows thing. It's not my fault! You have to, it's in the picture-taking rulebook!

Incubus - Just a Phase Love this song.

Read this! The idea was created by me over time in the fires of Mt. Doom conversations with Alan. He made the article on it, because he's an article-writin' fool. Just ask him, he'll tell you so.

And also: *points at the first date on his profile* :3

Shin: Awwww--er, um, yeah, good. *cough* ¬¬

Mimmi: You most certainly do. *tacklehug*

Dark Angel67: Mos def. :d

Liam: Nah, the SLAMwich is filled with lots of completely unnecessary nutrients and tons of bling. The keys are the closest thing to bling in our old Suburban. XD

Ex-excuse me, I--I think you have my stapler.
Fret not, I'll still be able to get on the 'net somewhat frequently while I'm down here, and alright, fine, I'll... *shudder* get pictures, despite having decided that I don't like this haircut at all and that barbers have no idea what "trim" means. >_>;;

I don't know how I forgot to mention this a while ago, but we also got a new Suburban down here to replace our old, incredibly ghetto one~~~ When I can get my hands on a camera, I'll take some piccies of that too (not sure when that may be, though). It's quite pretty, especially by comparison, hehe. We're not sure what we're planning on doing with the old one, but one possibility is that it may go to me so I can have a car when my sis leaves for college this summer. That'd be nice. :3

I also saw Donnie Darko and Office Space for the first time last night. I'm so glad I got around to that, because I had been meaning to, and both of those movies ruled. I doubt I've ever seen so many incredibly enjoyable characters in one movie as there were in Office Space.

And no, Shin, nobody said "weeaboo", so you can just--aw, shit. *bends over*

If you ever leave me, I will hunt you down and kill you, all right.
~ Got a haircut today. It arguably looks better than when it was all shaggy, but... my hair is all gone. ;-;

~ Tomorrow we're heading off to Arkansas and then Louisiana for Spring Break. We'll be there through Wednesday, I believe.

~ I went through a huge adventure trying to get home from work today. I'm a bit too braindead right now to go into it, but it did give me the opportunity to use Meebo for the first time. It is very, very nifty.

Bean cakes
So, tournament last weekend. As I was performing my piece as a prose, I think it went really well. I enjoyed it, at least.

At the same time, though, I haven't been as "into" forensics this year. I really never feel like going to tournaments, or performing, which is a complete opposite from last year. I don't quite know what it is, but I think I'll just go to one more tournament to fulfill the requirements and that'll be it for this year. v_v I'll still do it again next year, unless I for some reason change my mind before that, but I don't know if my interest will be renewed by then. I'll also consider doing debate again, if I feel up to doing all the work. Because other than that considerable point, debate kicks ass.

Also, I've been... forced into a job, lol. My dad's tired of me being on the computer, so he's making me work up at the uni from when I get out of school to whenever. That's pretty flexible, though, because of the nature of my job (nightly cleanup of the kitchen) so I may be able to get it changed to starting at 5:00. I'll need to be out and about town doing stuff on a somewhat frequent basis soon, and too many places will close before five for it to work with me going straight from school to work.

Not that I can complain anyway, of course. It is money five days a week, after all. :P

*will edit later with comments and maybe songs*

Shin: The PBF is absolute genius, lol. It's definitely one of the best of any webcomics and print comics out there today.

Baron: Wimp. :P

New theme, it seems. This is from The PBF, if you weren't already aware, and if you weren't, why are you still reading this? >:O
