Never a third
Truth
Holding back whats inside
Keeping secret the obvious
With fleeting smiles and kind remarks
Release was never an option
Privacy the inevitable
Pain the outcome
Never knowing the truth
Speculation eating my soul
That smile, my keepsake
Yet i feel solice in the present
Knowing the past to be gone
And the future just around the corner
Hardship lies ahead
With examination and scrutiny abound
The stress like concrete boots
But green fields are on the horizon
Shining sweetly with her
And the knowledge of company
Danger tomorrow, pleasure the next
Celebration just around the corner
And reunions reforging friendships
The future is only time
And the clock is ticking towards it
Bringing me ever closer
Hold on my darling
And hold that pose
Freedom is waiting and ive got a bus to catch. |
