   I'm SICK.
AGAIN. What is WITH this? I used to not get sick at all- and now this is the SECOND cold I've had in FIVE MONTHS.

My head is leaking mucus and I'm OD'ing on cough drops. And if you haven't guessed, I'm not in school, either.

I just hope I feel better by Saturday: I'm supposed to go to a play with Mandi. And I wanna go. Cause it's fun. And I haven't seen her in forever.

In other news... I had a dream that this guy wjp goes to my school and wears the same jeans with patches in... awkward places everyday came and knocked on my door. Only he looked NOTHING like he really does. In my dream he was flaming hot. And I was on the phone with Gracie. It went like this.

m to g: Oh, hey- there's this hot guy knocking on my door. Y'know, the one who wears the same pair of jeans everyday? Only... he's not wearing them!

g to m: Yay!

*m opens door*

m to guy: Hello?

guy: Can you do me a favour?

m: That relies on what the favour is.

guy puts his thumb and forefinger together and kisses his fingertips. and then touches my forehead. Which, apperently, was some really cute gesture that said "I like you."

m: uwahhhhhh!

guy runs away

m skips off, back to living room, where she had been playing a board game with her Uncle D and younger sister.

It was a good dream. Then I woke up and was attacked by the headcold again. Well, I've got to go get more cough drops.

In the words of S. Morgenstrom, author of The Princess Bride, "True love is the greatest thing in the world... besides cough drops. Everyone knows that."

   My Heating System.
I think that's what it's called- the heating ducts and vents and things. We all have them in our homes. They keep us warm. Except... when things go ary! *cue scary music*

So. I am home alone. Okay. That's a lie. With me are two cats, one feeble grandmother, one older brother who, for all intents and purposes, might as well not be there and... a Something.

It's a very loud something, it is. Crawling about in my heating system... as we speak! At first, I thought it was a cat. I heard bangings and what seemed to be kitty hisses. So, I grabbed a phillipshead and began undoing the screws of the vent from which the noise came. In my haste, I forgot to make sure there was a cat missing.

Ten minutes later, my cats sashay over to see why I'm kneeling on the kitchen linoleum dismantling the vent. I cursed them out for making me worry and gave them a handful of kitty treats. (Shadow, the glutton cat of the weak constituation, will probably be sick tonight.)

So. It's not a cat that is making these strange bangings and whirrings. Is it a bear? I could've sworn I heard water dripping... Is a bear pissing in my heating system? That would be terrible!

Ooh. There was just a really loud bang. It rattled the ventcover. Hm. I tried calling my mom. But her cell's not on. And I'm not sure where my father absconded to. So I called Grace's cell. There's a reason I think of her as my Saving Grace: when strange things happen, she comes over and sorts them out while I eat a sandwich.

But she's at Whitemarsh Mall. I reminded to pick up more manga, though. So I guess that's a good thing.

Also, the tiny sliver of wood that lodged itself in my finger while I was undoing the- DUDE! The vent just _rumbled_. I'm not even kidding. It went: "Ruhruhruh! Bang! Bang!" So. Anyway, the splinter is gone! While I was typing it just... disappeared! Wow!

Hmm. Maybe it's noxious fumes making that noise. They will seep into my house and when my parents come home we will all be comatose. Except for my brother; for all intents and purposes, he already is.

Wait! Is that the garage door I hear? Have my mom and sister come back from Dick's Sporting Goods? Yes! Yes! No! It was just the heating system.

Grace told me that I should arm myself with pepper spray in case it's a bear.

...Oh. Never mind. My father just emmerged from the basement. He said it was making those noises because he was fixing it. Apperently it broke last night. That would explain why the house has been cold. And now it is fixed. So our house will not be cold. But a bear would've been more fun.

   Day Off From School!
So, naturally, I did homework all day! Heh, what can I say- it's gotta get done, so I might as well get it out off the way. Plus, I had nothing better to do.

Grace slept most of the day. (And, oh yes, she'll sleep all night too. Annoying, yes. But I loves my koala.)

Mandi and I tried to get together, but her dad didn't want to drive, and my mom was already running around taking people places. I swear, the woman's destinted for sainthood. I'd never have that much patience.

Oh, and my dad's in CHICAGO! For some dental meeting. He hopped a plane yesterday morning. I didn't realize until yesterday evening. Not sure what message _that_ sends... but now he thinks we all need to go there for summer vacation. Apperantly we're going to Philadelphia this spring. I'm seriously starting to think my parents just take out a map of North East US, point to a random city had take us all there for holiday.

Oh. This is how much I need a digital camera. *inserts very large ... um... very large artichoke*
Wow, boys and girls. I really must need that camera.
Well, considering I've been true to my New Years resolution of drawing one comic a day. So now I've got a folder busting full with - lessee... 31 plus 22 is... 53 comics. 53. Wow, boys and girls. Wow.

In other news.... I'M SO RECKIN' SICK OF THE COLD! Yes, it's back! That oh-so-hateable constant gripe of mine- the WEATHER! By the lady, I can't wait for spring. Spring = happiness.

Speaking of which...
Your misery is my happiness,

   I'M TALKING TO GRACIE!
ON THE PHONE!
And she's at her GRANDPARENT'S HOUSE! Which is a unique ordeal that occurs every Friday night and is terribly boring. For both of us. So I called her on her cell! And now we are talking! And soon we will stop talking and she will come home! And then we will start talking again!

Heehee... She's home now. And said I should go over her place. I told her I was in my pajamas, but she said it's okay. She always comes over in her sweatpants and tee shirt.

Does she know that I meant my totally obvious sleepware bright pink fuzzy Hello Kitty pajamas?

   HERE I AM!
Yes, it's been a while since I posted and SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED! Let's get started!

So, how's kung fu? Well... I'm still rejoicing in my orange sashness and learning more fun ways to maim people...

So, how's my love life? Rather pathetic. I tried talking to Bejou... but you can just look at my last post for that. I don't know... but I think K-chan is brewing another plan, so... *shrugs* Ya never know, eh?

So, how's my art? Great. I've got TWO MONTHS worth of m.366 to post! GAHHH! *tears hair out* That's about 50 comixs! Plus the other drawings I've been doing... GAHHH!!! I promise, it'll happen! One day!

OH! I'm working on a plot- I mean, PLAN to get the local FlagShip cinema to start showing anime. I don't have the specifics worked out as I just thought of it two hours ago... but, I'm sure something will come of it!

Well, I've been SUPER BUSY lately, in between school and violin and kung fu and writing and whatnot, so I shall conclude this post with these words of advice:
Remember my name. You'll die screaming it.

Great line, eh? Can't wait for an oppertunity to use it... *evil grin*

I'm Not Sure if I Should Join...
Procrastonaters Annoymous or The Society of Multitaskers!

Currently I have seven tabs on my computer and numourous text on the floor. Plus the 98 rock evening show is playing on the radio. (Theo & Joe are so silly!) @ . @ I've been just a little busy lately. So, here I am, posting for the first time in a while!!!

Lesseee... what's new, hmm...

ORANGE SASH! Hell yeah, baby. M.K. and I tested on Wednesday. And obviously passed! Yes- I have risen like a dragon from the ashes of newbie-hood and am now an INTERMEDIATE! (Plus I can do a roundhouse kick!)

Also, my mom said she might call K-chans 'rents about the NW concert! Speaking of Nightwish, here's my lyrics for my love life as of now:

Did you ever read what I wrote you... Bye bye beautiful...

Right. I went and talked to Matthew-kun today. Did it go well? I guess. He was confused, Em-chan was impressed with my courage, I was impressed with my courage... But I don't think anything will come of it. I'm just happy that I was able to do that much! *Tohru smile*

Speaking of anime, I wanna hang out with Mandi-chan this Friday! I really do! And we can watch anime and eat cookies! (m. saynette: So go write your essay NOW)

*ignores m's words o' wisdom*
Hmmm... cookies and milk. I will be drinking lots of milk and water for the next 40 days, as I gave up juice for Lent. I really do need to drink more water instead of all the sugary fruit drinks, so hopefully this will help! In fact, I drank TWO GLASSES OF WATER today. TWO!

Okay. I need to go write more of my Iliad essay rough draft- that reminds me! I pwnd the guidance counsler! [To be true, it was indirect. But I won nonetheless]

She was- in a voice that makes you want to gnaw your ears off- "FWAH FWAH FWAH! SIGN UP FOR CLASSES NEXT YEAR!" Like, they just come in during LCW (Living in a Contemporary World. Possibly the most pointless class ever.) and get you to sign up for everything.

Well, Mum & I had already looked at courses, and I was planning on taking Creative Writing 1 next year, so I could take CW2 in 11th and CW3 in 12th. Ms. Guidance Counseler tells me that I can't take CW1 until 11th grade!!!

So I appealed to Mrs. D, my english teacher, who sent me to Mr. A, the CW teacher. Who said that Mrs. Guidance Counseler was wrong and I should definately take CW1 next year!

(And, oh! CW3 is basically just writing whatever you want all class!!!)

Speaking of writing, I need to go take a shower.

There is SO not a telegram imbedded in this post.
Today was a snow day.
We had off.
And there wasn't even snow.
Just lots of... rain and stuff.
And- for once- I was angry about getting the day off.

Why?

Well, I left my specs in my locker, so I shall be visually impaired until Monday. Ewwww.
Also, today was supposed to be on the A2 schedule, also known as the "Oh-my-friggin'-goddess-Bejou-has-the-same-lunch-as-me!!!" schedule.

So NOW, I hafta wait until THURSDAY to summon my courage and approach him. Grrr.

On a much, much happier note...
I watched 3 children ages 9, 7 & 4 for eight hours today. OH HEY MANDI AND GRACIE STOP
WE SHOULD WATCH THE CAT RETURNS TOMORROW NIGHT STOP OR MY TOTORO STOP I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH STOP That tranlates to:
WOOT! 70 MORE DOLLARS FOR THE NIGHTWISH FUND!

I think I'm having another meeting with the 'rents tonight to discuss that. Wish me luck!

Tho, babysitting is not all fun and games. It ate up my whole day. Plus, I'm currently dying for conversation with someone older than 12 and younger than 40.

Anyway, your mother was a cur and your father was pondscum.(Not really. That's just a witty insult.) Have a nice day, everyone!

   What I Did Last Night.
(And, no, the answer is not 'your mom'.)

So, last night was the All-County concert. Which kicked a--. The only reason I gripe so much is that it takes over my life. But, we sounded so awesome. Unlike the middle school. But that's okay: it's common knowledge that middle school orchestras suck.

The concert let out around 8h45. My dad was the only one who was able to come to it. [last night was also J-chan's Junior Mall Lock-In] So, this guy Gino, a friend as well as patient of his, owns a resturant in Havre de Grace and we were planning on eating dinner there.

It was so weird: no one, and I mean no one at all, was outside. So we're just driving around (despite the Dr.'s reassurances that he knew were it was) for like fifteen minutes.

Then we found it, and it was all "Italian!" Authentic, not Bertucci's. (Though they do have good bread.) So, Dr. ordered everything we would be eating at once and gave the (cute!) server named Chris the credit card.

And the Chris's like: "I'm sure I'll hear the story behind this..."

The reason behind this being that Chris comes back 15 minutes later.
"I made a slight mistake with your bill." And hands Dad the reciept again.
And Gino had written that the meal was on the house.
Dad: "See, I knew he would do this! That's why I tried to pay ahead of time."
Chris: "Now, you do know that when I cancelled your bill, it also cancelled my tip..."

So then my dad and Chris (turns out he's studying Chinese & Japanese in college with his otaku buddies!) And Gino came over, and he and my dad were talking and we were introduced to everyone- cause most everyone there is family.

We finally left around 10h30. And Dad left a huge tip as retalliation for not being able to pay for the meal. And I still have lots of eggplant parmasean left over. (n . n)

And... lots of homework to finish. Yuck.

   Lacking.
Lacking a certain guy- like, what's his problem? Am I just missing him in the hallway or does he skip school every other day? Either way, he should have good excuse.

And lacking nice weather. http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/21015?from=36hr_topnav_undeclared
See that? It's sunny and freezing!

m: If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Spot on, m, spot on.
See Y'all Later.

   ROMANCE!
Okay. So we* got our new scheduales today.
And guess who's in the class next door to my government** class!
My government class that is also a lunch period!

BEJOU-KUN!

Of course, it was the one day I had to go and leave le note sitting on my alarm clock! > 0 <
But, that's okay. I wasn't feeling particularly confidant today, anyways. Perhaps tomorrow...

Then, as if my love life couldn't get any better, I saw posters all around the school. They looked something like this:

Sophmore Class Council
Selling Roses During All Lunches
Febuary 3 - 13
Will Be Delivered on the 14th
pricespricesprices

...If Bejou won't send me one, I'll send one to me myself! Ha!
But I'm sure he will so it won't really be an issue! (n . n)*

THEN, as if all that weren't enough, I saw him again when I was walking out to the buses!

Yay!!!

*By we, I mean all students at CMW, but I specifically think of E-chan. We're still in the same classes- and GUESS WHAT!
A-kun (a nice and funny boy in my French class) finally asked her out! Which is great, because they had been likeing each other since school started!

**Yeah, I'm not so sure about my government teacher. She's completely happyhappyjoyjoy. Not like anime cute. Like preppy airhead. So, we'll see...
