.: ... :.

Ok. Sorry for the delay in my promised post. I had to wait on images, and I still don't have the ones I was after >.< .
Anyway, Our Veteran's Day Program went very well. Especially considering that two of us only had a brief run-through of what we were going to be doing, those two being me and Alisha(the two girls on the end in the picture).

(curse you Chief Winslett for not getting any good ones)
This is one of the better shots of the colors(Navy lingo for out national colors). C.O. almost choked these three before the ceremony. They were having trouble staying in step, and C.O. had no sleep thanks to working third shift and coming straight there, so he was irritable. All things considered(even the threat he made to make me and Alisha do the colors Oo), these three did pretty good.

I hate crowds, and this shot should be proof that my nerves were on the fritz all morning. I am standing behind the crowd (the little white and blue hat you see behind the bleachers). Most of the crowd was Samson elementary students, them and the Veterans.
I am not the type to fuss about my hair messing up, but my pyro-like(I say pyro cause light changes the shading and the mix is three-way almost like fire) locks were anoyying the hell out of me all morning. Took me half a can of hairspray to get it to stay, but anyway.

~*~*~*~

After all of this, we switched to P.T. gear (or physical traning for those of you who don't know what that is) and loaded up chairs for 30 minutes. Then we got to chill. This being an old school, that ment sports or whatever we could find. The boys played football while me and Alisha stayed in the saftey of the bleachers, me reading Eragon(damn good book) and her yapping in my ears. I talked ot one of the former cadets for a few minutes and stole a few of the chips he was eating(he offered).
When ever the boys got tired they came and sat with me and Alisha. To keep our selves occupied, we would toss the baseballs back and forth while we talked. I almost pegged Bechard a few times while I was trowing it to him.
When Night fell we went back outside, this time for ManHunt. I busted my ass so many times I forget on the stupid little hill that is infront of the bleachers. Chief has us chasing a light in teams of three(objective: Get the little red light) and two(objective: keeps the others from getting to it, tag and your out). I was glad I was short, I went across the field with no problems and walked right to the light and got it; thanks to the boys for keeping our newest addition, Trey, from catching me. That little bastard is quick as fuck @_@.
When the batteries in the light went out, Chief had us chasing a white lotion bottle. Yours truely getting it the first try, Trey the second and forth, and Bechard and Brandon rolling on the ground for the third (Bechard being the winner of that). Nest morning we had P.T., much to my disapproval, so we crashed at ten.

Ok. I don't really have much more to say about this. So, Farewell.
