"What the hell was that!?"
Matt yelled, in shock after seeing Camilla pass out, with wings that once shot out of her back, now limp beside her. "Did you...did you actually go through with this!?" Carmen, now seemingly fully recovered, merely sat down next to her unconscious sister, with barely a smile. "It worked, see?" She said, stroking her sister’s wings. "Looks like you won't need your sister anymore…or at least nearly as much now, huh?" Matt simply looked on disbelief, wondering why Carmen was so calm. Camilla seemed to move slightly, but Carmen didn't take notice. "Seems as though it didn't work this time...perhaps its fate. You truly are destined for bigger and better things..." She began to tear up. Matt walked over to her and kneeled down. "Why did you go this far? You know you didn’t need to do this! Remember when we were-" "I did it because we won't always be there for her. I don't want her to be taken advantage of...to be hurt...like everyone else. I wanted to give her...no, us...something we could use in order to protect ourselves from such things." Still looking at Camilla, she let her tears flow freely, not holding back. "You're a fool, you know that?" Matt said, but Carmen didn't respond. "You don't get it, do you? You can easily not let those things happens." He sat down all the way, and looked straight at Carmen. "We have each other. Sure I may not be related and all, but that's not going to stop me from doing what I can to make sure everything's alright." Before he continued, Carmen interrupted him. "Isn't it obvious that she doesn't need me anymore? She's become a-" "What…I don't get a say in this?" Camilla had woken up, and slowly risen up, with the pain in her back easing up. "I'm always gonna need you sis, regardless of what we become." She said, wrapping her wings around herself. "I'm what I am because I choose to be. Because of you I'm strong when I need to be. If part of this had gone wrong..." "No more...dear sister..." Carmen said, clearing up her tears and smiling. Matt, feeling that things were going back to normal, or as normal as can be now, decided to interrupt this tender moment. "So uh...who’s gonna clean this mess up?"

-The next morning-

It was a peaceful morning back at Jessica's house, with nothing out of the ordinary happening. Jessica, who had cried herself to sleep, began to wake up. "What time is it?" She said with a yawn, forgetting what happened just a few hours ago. Seeing that she was in Gabriel's arms, she let out a brief squeal, waking him up in a small state of confusion. Not aware of what happened, thinking she was asleep still, he held her closer, as if to protect her. "Who the he-" Before he finished he noticed that Jessica was wide awake, doing her best not to blush. "Oh..." "..." "..." After an awkward silence, he released her, and she sat straight up, regaining her composure. "Hey, about yesterday..." "What about it, Gabriel?" "Let's forget about the festival, alright? I'm pretty sure we could find something else to do, you know? Maybe actually hang out somewhere. Hey, we could look for Matt..." He said, hoping to not seem weirded out by the moment. Oh man, she's probably pissed at me...nah...but still...then again... While he was thinking to himself, waiting for an answer, Jessica was lost in thoughts of her own. He actually stayed and...no way...Gabe being...as if that would ever happen...but if he did... She turned away, acting like she was looking for something, when in reality she hid her constantly reddening face. The moment was instantly ruined by a sudden crash in Jessica's bedroom. Gabriel snapped to his senses and felt something different about what might be behind this. "This is weird…I can almost…feel what this is. This is presence is different...it feels like...something is nearby...and it's out for blood..." Their hearts racing, Gabriel motions for Jessica to stay there, and heads towards the bedroom.

-Meanwhile-

"For you, _________, I shall have them slain...do not fail me....Sid...."
