an excerpt...
The raid had failed. Out of a squad of twenty, there was one soldier left, a girl a little younger than I, defiance in her eyes. Blonde hair, fierce blue eyes, proud jaw, all fitting of a soldier, even one who wasn’t smart enough to realize when she was beaten.
I had tied her up by her hands, suspended from the ceiling by a quarter-inch thick chain. No, she wasn’t in pain, but that was because her feet were barely off the ground. Then again, she was alive now because I had not wanted to kill her.
"What do you plan on doing with me?" she demanded, rattling the chains as if that would free her. Unlike those that had come with her, her black tactical clothing was wholly intact.
Standing about four feet from her, I regarded her calmly. "I’ll keep you here until you change your mind."
The girl glared at me. She was not built for fighting, yet she was sent after me. "Why?"
I sighed. "Because you’re too young. You should not have even gotten involved in this. Maybe if I hold you here long enough, you‘ll change your mind."
~This is a small excerpt from a story that I'm working on, I havent come up with a title yet, but if you do let me know. I would also appreciate reviews if you don't mind.

Just another cold day out here in Iowa...how depressing, hey I know, lets take a poll...Alright girls, who do you think is cuter...Van Fanel from Escaflowne, or Hiei from Yu-Yu-Hakusho. Now for the guys, who do you think is cuter...Melfina from Outlaw Star or Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop?
My choices~
It's a tie for Van and Hiei, they both have awsome black hair and swords...so hard to choose.
And between Faye and Melfina, i'd have to go with Melfina...

Nothing to really write about today, it was a cold and frosty day here in Iowa...only a few more months of this then it's goodbye snow, and hello tornados...and after that...its the blistering heat of the summer, o joy...dont you just love the seasons out here?

Blah, Blah, Blah...
Hello everyone out there! How are you all doing? Good I hope, me I'm not so great, Thanksgiving break ends monday could life get more depressing? And not to complain or anything but Monday November 29, is not only the day we go back to school, but it's also my b-day...I mean come on, how bad does that suck? I'm sensing no sympathy...o well, it was worth a try, we only got 5 days off this year, how long do you all have for break? Just curious...well, that was my post for the day, gimme some comments here folks you're killin me...^.^

Writers block...
Hey everyone, I know I know, this probably isn't a very interesting post...but oh well, your going to read it anyway!
