RSOM
Well me and the blackerspots didnt make it in the new RSOM book, but that ok. We all knew we wouldnt anyways. We're going to enter again, though, and keep on doing our best.Maybe we'll make it in sometime!
thats the optimistic part of me. but I still cant help thinking...
"DARN IT! WE WORKED SO HARD! so many sleepless nights... so much hard work... and all for naught. We'll never do anything successful!"
But as we all know, I just can't stay like that for long, so now I look forward to the next competition! Lets do our best, everyone!

   Old Art...
I've decided to post a bit of my old art from my first sketchbook. This is mostly done with marker and colored pencil, as this is before i found out that "photoshop" wasnt a picture studio. To keep some shame out of it, i'm going to edit some of them, but only mildly. i hope this next series provides you all with a laugh.

   China
I'm sleepy. but I'm still excited! My daddy just got back from china tonight! he was on a missions trip type thing, and it looked amazing! He was there during chinese new year, and tiannamen( i know, spelling) was completely lit up with fireworks all night long. he brought back some of the coolest stuff! i'll see if i can get some video on youtube or something... if i can manage with my technologically challenged self.
it makes me excited for my upcoming trips. in a few weeks, i'm going to england to tour and visit famiy. the weekend after, i'm going to alaska. then this summer, i'm going to china with my dad and a team to help in orphanages. *stoked*

MEK
theblackERspot/spots came over last night to hang out and draw and all that jazz. Good times, good times, glad i was there. We watched Hana Kimi (blah blah blah GAY blah... lol), The abridged version of Yu-gi-oh (lets see how your grandpa fares without his soul!), and flash dance. awesome dancing that, and it wasnt as dirty as it sounded. i think we only had to fast foreward through 2 scenes.
as this was going on, my brother had a ton of friends over to play halo. i distanced myself from that. the male bonding was too much for me.
thats just about it... so yeah.

   Some things to do...
I have so much that I need to do. I had to take a break though, just to catch my breath.
For the past 2 hours, i have been trying to dig my car out of a snowbank. I had been trying to last night too for about an hour and a half. I always park my car by the curb because there isnt any room for it in my driveway or garage. the snow plow almost burried it, and now it's stuck. and i have school tomorrow, so there is no option. i have to get it out.
beside that, i have a test that i need to study for in speech.
i also want to write out a diet and work out plan. everything has just been too packed together. I wanna be skinny again. as it is... well, i'm just not :P. honestly i look gross
and i have several pieces of fan art to finish, as well as 2 pages of "One of the Guys" that I need to post. my goal is to post them and one piece of fan art by the end of next week.
anything else? yes. i have a speech information thing due tomorrow.
I need to rebundle. my poor pathetic car is calling.

   SNOW!!!
I had a busy day today. much fun though. I woke up and worked out, but that isnt unusual. what was is that it was all snowy and the like. heh. i love snow. i went sledding today with my younger siblings and my boyfriend and had a grand old time. i also got my hair chopped off. where my hair had been down to my shoulder blades, it is now... well think Mizuki from Hana-Kimi or Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club. its short. hehe i love it! so... freeing. and if i style it correctly, i dont look like a boy!
I'm anxious to see if i still have college tomorrow... if we do, i dont think i'll be able to get out of my driveway anyhow. so, yesh. i loffs snow. thats all.

   For You in Full Blossom
Hello, all! Ok, so here's the deal... one of my favorite mangas EVER is hana kimi. It really is most awesome! Now, my boyfriend has some recording stuff at his house and with it, he and his borthers and friends have made afew songs and the like. Me, I love audio tapes, but the songs they did are awesome...
Then it hit me... What if we could listen to our favorite mangas on tape?!
So right now, I am working on a Audio Tape Script of Hana Kimi for fun. I don't want to make it exactly like the manga, so I'm doing my best to make it origninal... at least a bit!
SO YEAH! that's what I've been up to! I can't believe its February already...

Lake Champion
Hello, all! so this weekend I was up at lake champion (upstate NY) for a youth group retreat. it was sad to think that it was my last one as a student, but I'll probably go as a leader next year. the lake itself was frozen solid with ice 8" thick, so it was safe to walk on. I am now an ice sliding expert. the zip line was fun too. good sessions, funny people, new friends... it makes the long trip worth while! Hope y'all had a good weekend too!

   Tragic Events
Ok, so i don't know who knows this, but I upload and work on all of my pictures from my laptop computer. Yesterday, the Tragic happened and... My hardrive died. like . As in the Artwork that I've been working on for the past few days is completely lost (in all likelyhood). I almost cried. I'm saving all of my work to disc from now on... I'm so stressed out. Gr. So now, the pictures that I have posted only Exist now on the internet.
Gr to the thousandth power at least.

HELLO!
Hello all! today is my brother's birthday, so in celebration, i took myself off my diet for an evening. it was heavenly. i had pasta, a cupcake and ice cream... all 100% illegal to the diety thing. i'm back on tomorrow. i'm excited. the mini binge was fun, but i feel kinda gross now.
I've decided that it is one of the most frustrating feelings in the world not to have anyone comment or vote on your artwork after you work so hard on it. its really defeating, i guess. lol. i'm not that great, but heck, sometimes even i'd like some acknowledgement of my attempts.
but yeah. so a lot of my brothers friends are at my house... including my boyfriend... for a sleepover. therefore, i took it upon myself to invite one of my good (girl) friends over to hang out. the man vibe is getting to me. LOL
