School starts for the new year this Wednesday...!

...So we went to Cape Town to get new school shoes for my sister and I. Ecccch. I HATE shopping for those damned things...

My old pair lasted me near 4 years... so I was kinda thinking to buy another pair just like it. But Noooooooo...

Shit always has to go wrong.
Yes. I couldn't find any. It was hard enough finding a pair I liked... even though most of the fucking things are exactly alike.

Sometimes I HATE having to wear a school uniform...

I have been attempting to convince momma dearest to let me get off her computer, and online on mine.

No dice.

Unless I get kicked off.
But once we're on during the weekend, the computer that's online has to stay on 24/7. Friday to Sunday. That way, it stays free.

This is one of the best books I have ever read... EVER!!!

Steven Erikson is now officially my new hero.
...Why?...
Read the Malazan Book of the Fallen series, and you'll understand why!

See that sentence above? The heading? Well now, isn't that quite the curse. THAT, is why I love reading...
Try saying it out loud...
Go ahead. Try it. Doesn't quite work, does it? But if you READ it... it not only sounds good, but it even makes some degree of sense!

The world Steven Erikson takes you into with his work, is astonishingly realistic. The degree of detail, is amazing... it feels real. The emotion, the feeling of berayal. It's all there.

Dude, I cried.

READ, DAMNIT!

The series starts with Gardens of the Moon... book two is Deadhouse Gates. Memories of Ice is book three, and House of Chains is the fourth. I'm reading that one at the moment...

Believe me. The search will be well worth your while.

Okay... I'm BAAAAAAAAAAACK!

Thanks to all those who said I should have fun.
I'm still deciding on my reply to that particular question though...

So... TIRED!

I'm definately not the camping type.

Don't worry Marz, we have no bears here. I don't think they're indigenous (SPELLING!?! @__@!) to this country... weather's too hot 'n humid.
We've got plenty of mosquetos to spare though...

only heard about them from the campsite locals...

We went to Silverstrand, just a few kilometers out of town. We camped in tents and all that shizzizzle...
Walking to the bathrooms and back was no joke. -__-!

There's a river running just past the area, and there's a normal swimming pool there, so we had a choice of swimming spots.

Heck, I love Summer.
Okay, not really, but at least now I got a bit of a tan going here...
Desperately needed that... and believe me, the exersise too.
Only a week left untill school starts again... *yayfullness* >__>
