In the heat of the night we are having a fiesta...

LMAO! Oh man, I love my mom so much. So I was in the kitchen helping my mom make some Crab Rangoon (we're so Asian, I know, but you love it), and she was talking on the phone with her friend. Then all of a sudden, in the middle of teasing said friend, she goes "Kukuku~" -long pause of silence with occasional cricket chirp- ...Shut up, I thought it was HILARIOUS and you know you did too!. Seriously, she went "Kukuku~" xD! I had to put down the wanton wrap in my hand before I ended up dropping it. That had to have been the best way I've spent an afternoon in a LONG ASS TIME. So things have been pretty laxed as of late. Things after midterms are pretty hectic cuz it usually means that finals are not too far away. It's crunch time people~ Thankfully I think I've got things handled. And the best part, I was finally able to sign up for classes next semester. HOPEFULLY THE LAST SEMESTER I'LL HAVE TO REGISTER FOR BEFORE I GET TO GRADUATE. As far as I know, I will have completed the required amount of credits and have taken the required classes to get my Bachelors in Arts for my English: Creative Writing degree. -insert happy and excited fanfare- I'll put up my schedule sometime in August because between now and then who knows how my schedule's gonna change (last time one of the classes I had signed up for was canceled for the semester so I had to rush to register for another course to fill in so that I could keep my full-time student status). But yeah, that's pretty much all that's been going on with me. Never heard back from the coffee guy. Oh well. I hear he's moving to Florida anyways so...whatever. It's all good. I'm...surprisingly enjoying life a bit right now (a lot even). So tell me what's up with you guys. Spread the love people~ ♥♥♥ I love Ren & Hao. What about you?

   [ 1985 ] I wish you were here...

If you're under the age of 11 or 12...you shouldn't even read this, and if you do, you should not repost this. Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid. It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it. You're a 90's kid if: You remember watching: -Doug -Ren & Stimpy -Pinky and the Brain -AAAAAAAH Real Monsters! -Rockos modern Life. -Animaniacs -Gargoyles -Are You Afriad Of The Dark You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!" You just cant resist finishing this . . . "Iiin west Philadelphia born and raised . . ." [ ...-must resist-... *__*! ] You remember: -Step by Step -Family Matters -Dinosaurs -Boy Meets World -Full House You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. You remember reading "Goosebumps" You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . . not [ ...Word. ] When everything was settled by: -rock paper scissors, or -bubble gum bubble gum in a dish, or -ms. mary mack When kick ball was a daily activity. When we used to obey our parents You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time on a tape. You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular. You remember The Original Game Boy. You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny. You remember watching: -The Magic School Bus -Wishbone -Reading Rainbow -and Ghostwriter on PBS [ This show was my life all through the third and fourth grade ;__; ] You remember when Yo-Yos were cool. You remember those Where's Waldo books. You remember eating Warheads and Splashers Gum. You remember watching: -the 1st Batman -Aladdin -Ninja Turtles -ghost busters You remember Ring Pops. If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!" You remember boom boxes vs. cd players. [ ...I still have a boom box. ] Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them. [ ...-snerk- Did that all the way thru High School xD ] You played and/or collected "Pogs" You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere. [ Borrowed one from a friend. ] one word. . . . . . . .trolls. [ skfsdflsdjf...I'm still wondering where my yellow and blue ones disappeared off to. >_>; ] Windows 95 was the best. [ HA, didn't even get a computer til 2001. But oh god, the computers at school. Oregon Trail baby, THE ORIGINAL! ] You watched the original cartoons of -Rugrats -Wild Thornberry's -Power Rangers [ You're not a child of the 90s if you didn't see at least one episode. ] -Rocket Power. All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand. You collected those Beanie Babies. Carebears [ CAREBEARS! *__* ] Lambchop's song never ended. Silver dollars, which were cool to have. [ I think I might still have some... ] Everyone watched the WB. If you even know what an original walkman is. [ ...Again, I still have one. ] You know the Macarena by heart. [ -snickers- I have the darn thing on my playlist. xD ] "Talk to the hand" . . . enough said You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace. [ Do they even have playplaces anymore? D: ] You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground. Before the MySpace frenzy . . . Before the Internet & text messaging . . . Before Sidekicks & iPods . . . Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360 . . . Before Spongebob . . . Before Tupac was shot. When light up sneakers were cool. [ DUDE, THEY STILL ARE TO ME. >__>; ] When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs. When gas was $0.95 a gallon. When we recorded stuff on VCRs. You had slap bracelets! [ I HAVE TWO, SO THERE! ] You Actually played outside until it was dark! Way back. Before we realized all this would eventually disappear. Post this if you remember these days . . . . Post with the year you were born. Added note from DS: Time moves without you noticing...until you actually take the time to look back. I miss those days sometimes. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. :3 I love Ren & Hao. And in order to wholly separate themselves from the water even further, reptiles created/invented sex. Me: ...Now we all know who to thank for that. Oh come on, you know you all were thinking it too. >__>; Also, is it wrong that I snickered when someone said the word 'undulate' in my Irish Lit class? Oh LiveJournal, what have you done to me? Though I suppose most of the blame goes to the people I RP with. I've no doubt they take that with pride. As they should. xD; I love Ren & Hao. What about you?
