Layout
Well it has finally become time to change the layout of the site. (For those reading it on lj, I changed that I while ago) and I'm updated it with a Lyrical Nanoha theme. I wanted to find one for StrikerS but there wasn't a good one so I just used one from the earlier season. For those of you who have seen StrikerS, my favorite character is Lutecia (if you've seen my past layouts you can easily guess why). She's so awesome, except she summons buggs! I hate bugs!!! But I supposse Garyuu (sp?) is pretty cool. Maybe it's cause he's more human like than bug. But when she summoned that giant beetle... *shivers*
Okay, so for those of you who haven't seen StrikerS, I'll blog about something else that you might be able to relate to. I picked up Harry Potter the other day and I'm about 200 pgs into it. I have to say that them not being a Hogwarts is kinda wierd. I bet that they'll visit later when looking for the Horcruxes, My mom sat down two days ago and read it - she's an incredibly fast reader. I think that she just read it by osmosis, and she probably passed the Bar Exam but using her osmosis on her textbooks! ^_^ Anyway, she said the first third of the book is a little boring but the rest is really good! So I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm sorry but because I'm such a nerd I have nothing to talk about except manga and anime. I'm really addicted to Negima and I just have two volumes left to read. I have to say I'm dumbfounded as to how Akamatsu-san is going to wrap it up in two volumes. Because at this point there are more loose ends than a mummy's wrappings! (Sorry for the hick similie!) Anyway, I'm at the point where Negi, Kaede, Ku:Nel Sanders, and Setsuna are the final four in the budukai. And even though Chao's evil plan to reveal all the mages at once, I think she'll either be stopped or it'll result in a good thing. Besides, I think she's a good person. Now Hakase on the other hand is pure evil! (Those braids go up into horn shapes when know one is watching!) I mean, what she did to Chachamaru! How cruel! And she made Chachamaru cry! SHE'S A ROBOT!!! lol, anyway, my tirade is over. But I have to say, my favorite characters are as follows (for those of you who care)
1. Kazumi Asakura
2. Kotaro Murakami
3. Yue Ayase
4. Chisame Hasegawa
5. Chachamaru Karakui
6. Asuna Kagurazaka
7. Evangeline A.K. McDowell
8. Kaede Nagase
9. Chizuru Naba
10. Mana Tatsumiya
Okay there's the Top 10, when I finish it'll probably have changed so check back. Note: Negi's not included but he'd be in there somewhere if I did include him.
Well that's mostly it, (I think I have a character limit) but thanks for the patience! Arigatou Gozimasu!

   Vacation Time
This will be the last post for awhile. I'm going on a cruise (yippee!) and it'll be awhile before I get back.
Well this past week I taught Vacation Bible School at my church. It was so much fun, except I was stuck with a boring shop. But on the last day I got to help out with another tribe since that tribe's assistant leader was absent. (oh sorry, the kids are divided into the twelve tribes of Israel and there's a tribe leader and an assistant tribe leader) What I didn't realize was I was being put into a tribe of all girls. So my back and arms are tired from carrying a different girl on my back and two girls pulling on each arm. It was a bit of a pain, but it was fun.
Anyway, I've been posting the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess boss battles on Youtube. You can check them out by searching my username, dragonboy621. All of the Abyss battles are finished so you can check those out as well.
Speaking of videos, I'm trying to find a new movie making program. I've outgrown Windows Movie Maker but I'm still not ready for Adobe Premiere, if you have any suggestions, please let me know. (The program MUST be compatible with mpg-4 files).
I've heard of a new game coming out on the Nintendo DS. It's called Runescape and it's basically Harvest Moon (made by the same company) except with an RPG twist. Instead of livestock, you raise monsters. It looks pretty good and since I'm a HUGE fan of the HM series I'll probably buy it. I also saw a preview for HM Wii, and it looks really good. The characters are still very chibi but not as much as HM Magical Melody. Oh, my best friend and I would laugh at the sounds the characters made when you talked to them...especially Dan, and Ronald. We also thought Carl was hilarious.
That's mostly it, I hope I'll remember to post about my cruise when I get back. Until then, be safe!

In the Neighborhood
So not having been on a blog in awhile I arrive at live journal (for those of you reading on myotaku, I write and post on lj first then C&P it over to myotaku!) and I notice that it has a new layout. And underneath where it says "Post to your Journal" it says "Last updated seven weeks ago" and I'm like "thanks for the update!!!" *knee slapper*. Anyway, so with that in mind I thought "It's high time I updated!" and so here I am...
That aside, SCHOOL'S OUT!!! (just to let you know) I'm busy enjoying my summer with lawn mowing, room cleaning, and the crowd favorite: dishwasher unloading! Boy do I know how to have fun! But no, I've done some other stuff. Last week I helped build the Habitat House for humanity. This year it is the "Moody House" and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. (And I got a free t-shirt!)
I need to come up with another transition word..."anyway" has been used to much. C'mon, help me out guys!
Alas, I had to go over to my dad's house this weekend. I'm home now but was torture! Okay, so it wasn't that bad. Last night we (my dad and I) made a new recipe out of Cuisine Magazine. It was a steak sauteed with a sugar rub and drizzled with a red wine vinegarette. It was alright but I thought it tasted a bit overdone. We had salad and polenta with it and the polenta was great. It was basically uncooked cornbread but it had maple syrup in it and it was SO good! But I digress...
That's mostly it, I know what your thinking! All he posts is like three paragraphs?!? (Wait haven't I already posted this before? hmmm)

Anyway (shoot!), I'll post soon *cough*six months*cough*

Toodles!

Manga-ka
Guess what! I'm writing (and drawing) a manga. But I don't think it's good enough. I mean, it's okay, but the drawing isn't good enough to get published... But I never know! Maybe I'm just to critical of my work. But if I'm not critical, I'll never get better! Hmm... quite a predicament. Anyway, it's about a girl named Arietta (hmm I wonder where I got that name?) and she's one of the leaders of the Imperial Kancian Order, an organization that strives for peace in the world. And, that's all that I have drawn. I actually only have five pages... Oh well, once I finish the cover I can start posting to theotaku.
I got my braces off yesterday. I look pretty good, except that my teeth are a little bit dirty. I went and got them cleaned right after though so they look better. Still, I'm trying some white strips to try and make them perty.
So what are you up too? How's school? Good? Good. Because my school sure sucks. We have six tests this week and it's insane. Tomorrow we have three different tests. We have a feud test, then a science test, then a math test! It's crazy! Then after this week is over we go to Boston. Which sound like, and will be a great trip. Except for the fact that we have to wear our school uniforms everyday!!! Except for one day which is a jeans and ST. ANDREW'S T-SHIRT DAY!!! It's just like being at school. I'm starting to think those kids who get to stay here and just have a vacation made the right choice. Oh well, there's no going back now, I just hope the trip is worth the uniforms.
Well that's about it. Oh, if anyone has any suggestions for japanese pen names please let me now. Ciao!

1110
Ugh I'm sleepy. I should go to bed. Why aren't I going to bed you ask? I'm not exactly sure myself...
I'm not doing much. Yesterday I got Fruits Basket 16 (Baby Tohru is THE most kawaii thing on this ENTIRE planet) and Super Paper Mario. FB is great, of course, but it's kinda sad and happy at the same time. I mean Kyoko marrying Katsuya is so great but to know he's going to die later is heart breaking. Though when Kyoko hits Tohru on the head and faints it's funny what Katsuya says "You made the woman known as the 'Red Butterfly' faint. You're something else, Tohru!" So kawaii! And Super Paper Mario is alright. The thing that disappoints me most is that in going this way it lost a lot of it's RPG flavor. It's going back to the arcade version which was entertaining enough but it wasn't very story-satisfying. Oh well, it's still a great game, it's a Nintendo game for pity's sake!
I'm watching Kyou Kara Maou! again. Well I guess not again since I haven't watched the whole series. I'm starting up where I left off. I love the series but it's a little hard to watch because Yuuri keeps making a fool of himself. He proposed to Wolfram by picking up his silverware! Idiot... Anyway, I really like it, even though it's a bit shonen-ai. Oh well, as long it's a great fantasy, I don't care about the characters' love lives.
OH! I'm almost done with the climax of chapter one of my video making career! I'm working on the video now but it may be awhile... But when I get it done, it'll be so spectacular it'll blow your brains out! *giggles* It's going to be the hi-ougis from ToA to the music of Tori no Uta. That's the Air TV theme song if you didn't know. It's a really beautiful song. It may not be the BEST choice for the video but it's one of the only six minute songs I have. And there is NO way I'm doing One Winged Angel for my masterpiece!
That's mostly it. Until again! Ciao!

Cleaning
I'm cleaning again. I don't know why though. I usually only clean whenever I'm upset about something. Obviously I am because I was running my nails again. That's a habit I have of rubbing my finger nails together whenever I get nervous. I just don't know what I'm worried about.
This Friday I'm doing World Recipes with Alix. We're going to make Pizza Bread, unfortunately. I'm begging Alix to do a Chiffon cake but she hates sponge cake. I don't know, sponge cake is great! Besides I'm the chef here, *giggles*.
Speaking of that I'm going to start a cooking show! I'm going to have several episodes and I'll post them on youtube. But it won't be until I finish the Tales of the Abyss boss battle series. I've been thinking about using that card to do the boss battles for LoZ: Twilight Princess. And I've also thought of doing the operations of Trauma Center: Second Opinion. Oh but for those excited about the cooking show, the current tentative name is "Kitchen Basics". If you have any suggestions comment on this entry or e-mail at DivineArietta@aim.com.
We have a math test thursday, a test over the world leaders friday, and a Science test on friday as well. I'm a little worried of the world leaders because it's fill-in-the-blank. Mr. King will give us the country and we have to give the leader. Sounds hard, huh? Especially since we have countries like: Tanzania, Syria, and Morocco. Oh well, if I study I'll be fine.
That's mostly it. I'll ttys. (Talk to you soon). I hope everyone feels great!

Spring Break
Well it's finally here, Spring Break that is. I've been looking forward to it since our last vacation. Wanna know how I've been spending my spring break? Spring cleaning! (oooh, bad pun...) but I really have. I've been kinda bored so I've just been cleaning the house and stuff.
I started by sweeping all the leaves off the trampoline. Later I'm going to put on my bathing suit and wash the leftover stuff off. I'm getting it ready for spring and my birthday party.
OMG I went outside this morning and it felt so good. I've been so cramped up over the winter and the fact that I can go outside in shorts, a t-shirt and sandals felt like I've emerged from the chrysalis as a beautiful butterfly! I'm so ready for summer to be here so I can play outside and get sprayed with the hose and go to the park and all the good stuff. This is going to be the best summer.
Besides my birthday party I'm thinking about having an end of St. Andrew's party at the end of the year. No guarantees or anything but it's just a possibility. Since we've spent so many years (some of us all 11) at St. Andrews I think we should have a party to celebrate finally being free from the chains!
Well that's about it. I'm going to New Mexico on thursday and I'm really looking forward to it. Even though Jacy got hurt we'll still be able to have a fun time. And I thinks she'll be able to ride the giant swing (or at least I hope she will).
Oh one more thing. To all who watch my videos, I'm getting Adobe Premiere!!! I'm so ecstatic because I am so fed up with Windows Movie Maker. So now the whole world can recognize my direction potential... or at least the nerds on youtube!
That's it! ttyl!

Weird Day
OMG Today was a really weird day. Like REALLY weird.
It started out pretty normal, except that I didn't get to take a shower this morning and so I was pretty dirty. In World Geography we started watching Hotel Rwanda and it's really good. In science we just took notes like usual. So the first three hours of my day was relatively normal.
English was a little different in the sense that we got to drink hot chocolate in class. We've done this before but we don't get to do it very often. I'm also really enjoying reading A Break with Charity and since we got to read it today for the entire period I was happy.
Math was awful. And not just kinda awful, like really awful! We had a math test that was only 15 questions! 15! Only two people in the entire eighth grade finished! I finished but I skipped three. The same three that a lot of people skipped. #4, #8, and #10. We're studying system of equations but we also had Chemical Problems. We just learned how to do them yesterday and she said they weren't going to be on today's test (we're doing part of it today and part friday) and #8 was a chemical problem! I was so frustrated.
The Literary Magazine Committee met upstairs today and while we were eating (this is the really wierd part) the lights started to flicker, and then eventually went off. The clocks turned off the computers shut down and the entire school lost power. Two minutes later the flicker back on and then flicker back off. They come back on and stay on but a really wierd smell arises. We would later find out that an electrical wire had broken and the generator in the pre-school had stopped working creating the wierd smell. So Speech and Spanish were practically goof off time (not like they're not always like that) but everything was in the dark because the had to turn the power off so the electricians could fix it.
Then last period we would've normally gone to P.E. but all the pre-schoolers, who had evacuated, were staying in the gym. So Mr. King took us outside.
And that was my crazy day! I hope you've enjoyed this dragonboy621 production!

Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia
OMG I WANT THIS GAME SO BAD!!! I can't control myself! It looks a lot like the tales games except the spells are better! The only problem is that the battle system is turned based. Here's a video of what it'll look like:

So doesn't that look cool?!? I really want it. But I bet you don't really care! That's okay, I have other stuff to tell.
Well I'm going to the cabin (our vacation house) with my best friend over spring break and we're so excited. I'm also going with M and R (that's their nicknames) they're really fun people and we'll play mexican train and go to the giant swing and it'll be great!
Tomorrow I have a math test and I'm really really dreading it. Mrs. Thompson's daughter is sick and she won't even be there. But we're only going to do 75% of it so it's alright, but still...
In World Geography we're going to be watching Hotel Rwanda soon because we've just finished studying Burundi, Rwanda, and Uganda and we're also read This Voice in my Heart by Gilbert Tuyabone (sp?) and he's coming to talk to us next week.
I'm so excited about spring break I almost can't hold it in!!! I want to get away from hell A.S.A.P. but I've still got another 10 days. Oh well, that's not to far away. I'll try to live until then! lol ^_^
Well that's about it. Hasta La Bye-Bye!

P.S. Here's a really bad pun: "Every time I'm around gravity, I feel so down, ya know?!?"

Random Idea: Update!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I've been busy with insert activity here
a. Basketball b. Movie Making c. being sick d. all of the above!
And I've got a new game I'm playing (Harvest Moon DS) and I'm totally addicted. I think I'm going to marry Leia (in the game) but I like Lumina and Keria too. But I think there's no way I'm going to marry Keria because she lives at the bottom of a mine and she requires EXTREMELY expensive gifts like Golden Lumber.
Well Basketball is over now. I'm a little depressed because I had a lot of fun. Also I don't know what I'm going to do with all this free time! But Tennis starts in March so I just have to occupy myself with trivial, impertinent tasks until that point *begins whistling*.
Let's see, what else is going on. Oh! I went to the doctor on Saturday and he said it's acid reflux a.k.a. stress from science bowl. But he gave me some Prevacid and I'm feeling much better. This isn't the first time I've had this and it was just like this so I wonder why I didn't think of it before! So I have to take this pill that dissolves on your tongue and it doesn't taste bad. But it tastes like Bonine.
I think that's about it. I know you're like "YOU HAVEN'T UPDATED SINCE NEW YEARS AND THIS IS ALL YOUR POSTING!!!" but I don't have anything else to talk about. Oh well, maybe I'll more to talk about next time!
