Chapter 3 Oh boy.


We all made it to my house in a good time. 14 seconds. We changed back and went into my house.

“I'm home mom,” I said walking up the stairs. She was in the kitchen. Na-na was walking behind me.

“I brought a guest with me,” I said.

“Who?” she asked. Then she saw Na-na. She smiled sweetly then looked at me.

“She your girlfriend?” she said smiling. I dropped down the stairs we just walked up. I got on my feet with a red face.

“NO!!!” I yelled. Instantly she was in my face. She had by by my shirt. Staring dead into my eyes.

“Don't you ever yell at me,” she said. The color drained from my face. My eyes wide because I was staring death in the face. An opponent I couldn't fight and win.

“Yes ma'am. I'll never do it again,” I said. She let go and smiled.

“It was nice to meet you miss,” she said looking at Na-na. I shuck out my shirt.

“Is Al home?” I asked.

“No. She's still at work,” Mom said.

“Ok. Tell her to call my cell later. Bye,” i said turning around. She grabbed my shirt again.

“Where?” she asked.

“Fun world. Its Tuesday. Time for my workout for the week,” I said nervously.

“Ok. just don't get too tired this time,” she said letting go. Me and Na-na left and headed to a bus stop.

“So what now?” Na-na asked me.

“Don't know. But first we need to get you trained,” I said.

“What do you mean? I can fight,” she said.

“Strike your fighting pose,” I said. She did it. ....She looked like a cat.

“Thats why we have to get you trained,” I said hanging my head. The bus came.

“But whats at fun world?” she asked.

“DDR,” I said as we got on the bus. As we rode along to fun world Kaori showed up in my mind.

“Why are we going to this 'Fun world'?” she asked.

“Because in a fight you need good footwork. If any can learn to play DDR then they can learn good footwork,” I told her.

“Oh,” she said. We arrived at fun world within the hour. As we entered I heared some well known voices.

“I said give me your tokens,” Arri said.

“And I said no,” Alan said. The two were about to square of when we got there.

“Shut up both of you,” I said walking up and taking the tokens.

“Hey!” they said.

“Come on Imoto-chan,” I said to Na-na.

“DDR! DDR! I'm already good at it you know,” she said bragging. I looked back.

“Give it a minute,” I said.

“Jon,” Alan said.

“Wha-” I began as I saw his fist come at me. I dodged it and landed a uppercut to his jaw.

“I told you not to do that,” I said to him standing over him.

“Jon who is she?” Arri asked me.

“A friend of mine. Her name is Na-na,” I said.

“Nice to meet you,” Na-na said to Arri and a layed out Alan.

“JON I CHALLENGE YOU TO DDR!!!!!” he said getting up.

“Fine,” I said walking up the stairs. Once up there we got our usual machine. 5th mix. Oh Yeah. Me and Alan did six songs. B4u on trick mode, Matsuri Japan on basic for him trick for me, Lupin the 3rd on trick, shooting star on trick, Capt. Jack on basic, and Butterfly on trick. I crushed him in score and combo.

“Damn man. How did you get so good?” he asked.

“That was cool Jon-sempai!” Na-na said.

“Good cause its your turn. Do B4u on trick mode to start you training,” I told her she got up and started to dance.

“Why are you wasting your time training someone? Your the coldest guy I know,” Alan asked me.

“I'm training her to fight,” I said watching Na-na dance.

“Fight what?” he asked. Arri came up from behind him and turned me around. She's just a half inch taller then me and I'm 5'11.

“He's training her to help him fight with us,” Kaori said popping up.

“They can't see you remember?” I told her.

“Then why are they staring at me?” she asked. I turned my head. Alan and Arri were staring at Kaori.

“ So you two can see her?” I asked. They nodded. My head dropped again.

“Don't tell me. A turtle?” I asked. They nodded again. I sighed.

“What powers?” I asked.

“Darkness,” Alan said.

“Light,” Arri said.

“Great,” I said with my head still down. I sighed again and resumed Na-na's trainging. Just then I felt a demon. It was close. About 2 miles south.

“Everyone. Were moving out. A demon showed up at the mall,” I said walking away.

“Hold up,” Alan said grabbing my shirt.

“Who elected you as leader of this outfit?” he asked. Arri also had her arms crossed as well as Na-na.

“Because of this,” I said. I unleashed a wave of fire the likes they had never seen. My eyes glowed red with the fury of hell fire. A stare so evil that even the devil would be afraid.

“Ok. All good by us man,” they said. I really don't like using force to get what I want but there was no time. The area was where my little brother was.

“Now then. Lets go!” I said turning around.

“KAJI KAME, KURAI KAME, HIKARI KAME, KAZE KAME!” we all said. In there transformed states Arri and Alan where dressed in black and white. Arri was dressed in a white tee with the kanji of light on her shoulder. The pattern on the shirt was like a circle that was sending waves of energy out and white jeans and black laced boots. Her normal weapon was a Kodaichi, also know as the shield sword. Alan was dressed in a black long sleeve shirt with the kanji of dark on his left shoulder. The pattern was that of a black hole drawing in all things. His pants were black and his boots were black with white laces. His weapon was a zanbato, an over-sized sword that could take out a horse and its rider.

“You called masters?” their spirits asked. There names were Getsu-oka, and Hikara. They were in human form. I could only guess what their true forms were.

“In the words of Lil' Jon, LETS GO!” Alan said. He opened a portal that could get us there in a matter of seconds. We dashed through and where downtown in no time. I looked around. I saw Gage. He was running for dear life.

“HELP ME!!!!” He screamed. He was only 11.

“G!” I called to him.

“Jon?!” he said looking at me. The demon showed up behind him. A fox this time. Evil to the core. Gage turned to see it about to strike. He glared at it.

“I'm not scared,” he said shaking. I could tell he was afraid. I ran in. I had my Bo in hand.
“BURN THE SKY! KAORI!” I screamed. My Bo became a spear and I jammed it into the neck of the fox. It faded. I dropped to the ground. The spear returned to a Bo.

“You ok G?” I asked.

“I'm fine. JON BEHIND YOU!” he screamed. But it was a little late. I felt a pair of claws go right down my back. My back felt warm. Blood started to run from it. I dropped to my knees. I turned. 10 more foxes appeared. All waiting to turn me into ribbons. I couldn't move. My hands felt heavy. My legs weren't moving. All I could do was watch.

“CHIDORI!!!!” I heard someone scream from in front of me. I saw a bolt of lightning strike one of them. The one using it was Gage.

“What?” I asked.

“KAMINARI KAME!” he said. His body burst into lightning. His shirt changed to yellow as did his pants. His weapon was a sheathed katana. His boots where black with yellow laces. His shirt had a lightning bolt on it. His eyes had yellow paint on them that made them look like eagle eyes.

“SPLIT! KAUSHI!!” he screamed. He drew his sword and it broke into two halves. With twin swords in hand he blasted an x shaped slash at the demons. I regained control of my body and got up. Gage landed in front of me. I walked up behind him.

“You ok Jon?” he asked. I punched him over his head.

“OW! What the hell?!” He shouted. I punched him again.

“What do you think your doing you little runt?! How did you get those powers!?” I asked yelling at him.

“I got them the same way you did,” he said glaring at me.

“Shut up! Let's just take down these guys. Everybody ready!”I called.

“READY!” they said.

“Let's Go!” I called dashing into the crowd of demons. My Bo tore through them like tissue paper. Alan with his zanbato blasted through another group. Arri used her kodaichi to bring down an even larger group. Damn. Na-na was also beating down a good number of demons. After the battle we all got outside. After transforming back to our normal forms. I looked at the others.

“Hold out your hands,” I told them. All 4 of them held out one of their hands. I put my hand over theirs and began to make them burn.

“What are you doing?!” Na-na asked.

“Watch,” I said. I pulled my hand back. On each of their hands was the kanji for their element.

“Wha?” They asked.

“We are now connected. So now when one of us needs help it will-”

“These are my confessions, just when I thought I said all i can say my chick on,” my phone went.

“Why now. Hold up guys. Mushi mushi?” I asked.

“JON!!!! MOMS BEEN HIT BY A CAR!!!!!!” My sister screamed at me through my phone. My phone dropped to the ground while I dashed home.

i forgot to add something. the names of the weapons are 2 japanese words combined. Kaori is Kaji and Tori. And Araritn is Arashi and norite. meaning fire bird and storm rider. more soon. BWAHAHAHAHA bleach refreance

Chapter 2 Seperation and Union


“-on, Jon, Joon, Jooooooon. JON!” i heard someone yell. I opened my eyes to see Koari looking down at me.

“What is it?” I asked. she handed me my cell phone. I looked at the time. 6:30 A.M.
“.....DAMN! I'M LATE!!!” I yelled. I grabbed the nearest cloths. A black cotton vest, my favorite red tee, black wranglers, black and red shoes. I grabbed my bag and jetted out the door.

“Damn! I forgot my MP3 player!” I shouted. I dashed inside and grabbed it. I ran to the bus stop. The bus was leaving.

“I'll cut it off at the last stop,” I said. I cut through the next street. Running for dear life. Dammit. I missed it at the stop.

“Now what?” I asked out loud.

“Transform and catch it,” Kaori said behind me.

“Oh. I forgot about that. Kaji Kame,” I said. Once I transformed I got set.

“Lets do this,” I said. I ran at full speed. My MP3 player was still playing. The song was Shounen Hearts by Home Made Kazoku. I ran along the highway. I had caught up to my bus. I decided to show of a bit. I jumped to see where everyone was on it. My boy Dana was in my normal seat. Neraiya was in the seat next to him. Ash and Liz where in adjacent seats. Tim was next to Ash. I ran past the bus and made it to school. Once there I entered the main wing of the school. I was greeted by Na-na and Yujie a.k.a You-you, said Yo-yo.

“Hey Jon-sempai,” Na-na said.

“Morning Imoto-chan. Yo You-you,” I said to them both.

“Your here kinda early. Did your bus come in early?” Yujie asked.

“Not exactly,” I said smiling.

“Did you see Winfield miss the bus? It was so funny,” I heard Ash say.

“I was going to ask the bus driver stop but it was too funny,” she said.

“Really?” I asked.

“Yeah! You should have seen his face!” she said laughing. Then she realized who she was talking to. The color drained from her face.

“Jon! How did you get here?!?” She asked.

“Thats not important,” I said glaring at her.

“I was just joking,” she said with a stupid look on her face.

“Its ok Ash. Don't worry about it,” I said closing my eyes and adjusting my glasses.

“Your going to Anime club today right Jon,” Yujie asked.

“Yeah. Wouldn't miss it for the world,” I said with a nervous smile.

How you goin' to work this Jon? Shadow asked.

Don't know, I said. Time passed. School was over. I went to the anime club after the last bell rang. I walked alone to the club. I looked in to see everyone gathered. I wish I wasn't going to do what I was about to. The club went normally. I was incharge of the activities of the club. The activity was to draw a O.C. Original Character. Mine was my self from the previous night. It was weird. Now I actually have powers. I can't let my friends know. That would put them in danger.

“Thinking of your friends?” Kaori asked me.

“Yeah,” I said.

“Well you have to do what you came to do,” she said.

“I know,” i said.

“Who are you talking to?” Soto asked. He was the resident “demon” here.

“Just my self. Beat it Soto,” I said.

“Fine you moron,” he said.

“Watch it pillow bitter,” I said glaring at him. Lets keep in mind I'm not gay. HE is. But thats aside the point. He left.

“Alright, before we end the club for the day is there any other buisness?” Yujie asked. I raised my hand. I stood in front the others. I looked down. Then raised my head.


“I have decided to leave the anime club,” I said with a straight face. The others
stare at me in disappointment.

“What are you saying sempai?” Na-na said to me.

“I can't be apart of this club anymore. I'm sorry,” i said hanging my head. Jo walks up and slaps me across my face.

“You fucking traitor!” she said glaring at me. My face is turned to the ground. I turn my head to face them. They all have a look of disgust on their faces. They couldn't phathem what I'm going through.

“Get out,” Soto said.

“Jon don't do this,” Tom said to me.

“No. This can't be helped. I must leave,” I said.

“You're not a maverick, Jon. Get over it,” Yujie said.

Then i must cut the ties that bind with the blades of hate, I thought. I snear went over my face.

“Well I guess I'm just a asshole huh? I mean its not that hard when you have such a wide spread of morons in one room,” I said.

“What did you say?” Soto asked enraged.

“You heard me, you stupid bastard,” I said looking at him with a grin.

“Your not worth the effort. You think your so supirior to all around you when I can grind you to dust in an instint,” I said glaring and smiling.

“There is no use to for that kind of talk Jon,” Yujie said.

“Oh yes. You are the honorable President of this club arn't you?” I said directing my gaze at her.

“What are you driving at?” she said.

“I'm glad I didn't face you for the position. Governing a bunch of naïve underclassmen in the first place. You're just as bad as him. Your smarter than anyone in this room and you act like a freakin' saint. It's stupid,” i said shruging my sholders.

“I guess I'd be like you if I had your wonderful bliss and knowledge,” I said.

“Why don't you leave already,” Alysha said.

“Fine,” I said turning my back.

“Winfield!” Soto called from behind me. I turned to see his fist in front of my face. My glasses gleamed. With lightning reflexes I grabbed his fist and throw him to the ground. He coughed and looked up at me.

“Take that pillow bitter,” I said staring down at him. I walked over him and opened the door. He got to his feet and ran at me.

“You stupid son of a bitch! I'm part dragon and you cant beat me!” he shouted.

“Stop you fool,” I said turning to face him. He cocked his fist back ready to throw it. I ran and caught his stomach with my knee. He gasped in pain, but I wasn't done.

This will ensure that they'll never seek me out. I thought. I clasped my hands together and struck his back. He let out a yell so ear splitting that even the deaf would cover their ears. He dropped to the ground in pain. I stood over his body.

“JONATHAN WINFIELD!!!! YOU ARE BANNED FROM THE NASHUA NORTH ANIME CLUB!!!” Yujie said. I turned to look at her. She saw my eyes full of sorrow.

“Good,” I said walking out the door. After I had left Soto regained his senses.

“That little prick. Who dose he think he is? I'll show him that I am half dragon,” he said.

“I don't think thats the whole story. He's hiding something,” Yujie said. “Something big. That would make him do this.”

“I'm sorry you guys,” I said while walking out side of school.

“But this is too dangerous to let you guys know about,” I said as my hand burst into flames. I stared at the flame.

“If I stayed with you guys it would only mean your deaths,” I said.

“That was brave of you to do,” Kaori said.

“I don't think so. It was selfish and inmature. I should say I'm sorry,” I said. I walked back to the door leading to the club.

“I hope that bastard dies a horrible death!” I heard Jo yell.

“Not before he's tortured for 10 years then raped!” Soto yelled.

“Will all of you stop it! Sempai has a good reason for leaving!” Na-na said standing up for me.

“Well what is it Na-na-chan? Well?” Soto said yelling at her. I looked through the window. He went up to Na-na and grabbed her by the neck. I dashed in and punched him. He let her go and directed his fury on me.

“You have some nerve showing your face here now,” he said. He was still pissed at the fact that I dropped him not 10 minutes ago.

“You black piece of trash!” He said glaring. Thats right. I'm black. Wondering of topic again.

“Sempai!” Na-na said trying to get between us. Soto swung at her. I jumped in the way and took the full hit. I was sent to the ground and knocked against a heater. Soto came over and was about to wail on my head. Na-na got in his way again.

“Move Na-na-chan,” he said in a blind rage.

“No,” she said.

“Then I'll move you,” he said preparing to swing.

“Kaji Kame,” I said under my breath. It was so fast no one saw me grab Na-na and run out the room. After getting to a safe distance I put her down.

“Sempai?” she asked.

“Yeah its me,” I said.

“That was so cool,” she said smiling.

“Not really,” I said. I changed back to normal and began to walk.

“Do you see. This is why I can't be with you guys anymore. If you were to get mixed up in this then-” I began. Then I sensed a demon. Dragonic in nature. Closing in on us.

“Na-na get behind me,” I said. She moved behind me.

“Kaji Kame!” I said transforming again.

“Cool,” she said.

“Wait till you see me,” Kaori said behind Na-na. Na-na whipped around to see Kaori looking at her with a goofy grin. They both laughed.

“Need to concentrate,” I said looking back. The demon came. It was black with red eyes that could give a normal person a scare that would make them shit themselves. Surprisingly Na-na wasn't scared.

“Lets go,” I said. Jumping twords the demon. It bared down on me with his claws. I held him off with my Bo. He was strong. What I failed to realize he had a friend. He lounged at Na-na. She screamed. I couldn't make it in time. Then a strange feeling swept my body. A blast of light shot down and hit Na-na. We all cover our eyes. Then I heared it.

“Change the tide. Ararita,” she said. A huge sword appeared from the light and split the demon in half. It faded in to a cloud of smoke.

“My turn. Burn the sky, Kaori!” I said changing my Bo to a broad sword. Cleaving the demon into small bits then blasting it with a stream of fire. After incenerating the thing I looked back at Na-na. Her shirt was A grey tee with the kanji of wind on her right side. On her back was a sheathed broad sword that looked like a fang. Her pants were black and her shoes were grey. She had earrings on that looked like the kanji of storm. Behind her stood a tall man that looked like a sage with sunglasses.

“Welcome to the party Na-na-imoto-chan,” I said to her.

“What is this?” She said. I walked over to her and put my hand on her shoulder.

“Now were in this together,” I said smiling. She smiled back.

“This strange turtle gave me that sword. He said to change I have to say Kaze Kame really loud. He also said I can control wind now. What dose it mean?” she asked.

“It means our lives and 5 others have changed for the better and worse. Now lets go. I have to tell some one about this,” i said preparing to run.

“Who?” she asked. Kaori and Ararita looked at me and said at the same time.

“Who?”

“My sister,” I said as I dashed.

Trial by fire. Rise of the turtle

Chapter 0: The road to power.

“I have decided to leave the anime club,” I said with a straight face. The others
stare at me in disappointment.

“What are you saying sempai?” Na-na said to me.

“I can't be apart of this club anymore. I'm sorry,” i said hanging my head. Jo walks up and slaps me across my face.

Chapter 1 Know your place

My name is Jonathan Winfield. Age 18. Race African-American. I'm a senior this year at Nashua High North. I'm now a maverick. But it wasn't like that a couple days ago. It all started when I was in my room.

“JON!!!” my mom called.

“YES!!”I called back.

“Take out the trash before I beat you!” she said. She's so violent. I was playing Marvel vs Capcom 2 on my old Sega Dreamcast. I walked into the living room to be greeted by my dog Diamond. He walked up to me, tail wagging. I grabbed the bag of trash and walked out side. It was raining hard. I quickly ran out to the trash can and opened the lid. Lightning was streaking across the night sky. I was walking back when I saw something in the sky. It looked like a big turtle. It looked down. It saw me. Then it burst into a huge light. Then vanished.

“What was that?” I said.

Maybe a trick with the light, Shadow said.

“Shout up. That stuff only happens in anime,” I said to him. Shadow is my other personality. My smart and tactless side. I kept walking. Then the rain stopped. I looked up to see a bolt of lightning 2 inches from my face.

“Damn,” I said. It struck me. I yelled in pain. It was as if my entire body was being torn apart.

“YOU ARE THE ONE....” it said.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“A DIVINE ONE...... YOUR DESTINY CALLS...... KAJI KAME” it said.

“What? Fire turtle?” i asked.

“I BESTOW ON THE THE FLAME OF POWER.....MAY IT PROTECT YOU......ALWAYS...” it said. I opened my eyes. In front of me was a Bo staff with the kanji of fire and the kanji of turtle.

“6 OTHERS WILL JOIN YOU WHEN THE TIME COMES...... UNTIL THEN IT IS YOUR DUTY TO PROTECT THIS TOWN......GOODBYE....BRAVE JONATHAN....” it said “NOW TAKE THE BO.....” I extended my hand and grabbed it. My body was transformed. I had a red t-shirt on. On my left breast was a badge that read Fire. My pants were red jeans. My shows where black and red combat boots. On my back was the Bo that I had taken. There was red paint around my eyes to make it look like a turtle's eye. My glasses were gone and I had perfect vision. The light faded and I was back in the front yard.

“WHEN YOU NEED THE POWER CALL KAJI ARASHI.....” the voice said. Then it faded completely. I went back inside.

“What took so long?” My sister said.

“Shut up Allison. I don't want to deal with you right now,”I said walking back into my room.

“You don't talk to me like that,” she said grabbing my shoulder. She instantly pulled her hand back. It was burned. Not to badly, but burned none the less.

“I'm taking a shower,” I said to my family.

“He seems kind of different,” my mom said.

“Al what happened to your hand?” Gage asked.

“It got burned from touching Jon,” she said looking at me while i walked to my room.

So what are you going to do? Shadow asked me.

“I have to cut my ties with the club,” I said

Why?” he asked.

“If they get mixed up in this and get hurt then it will be on my head. I can't subject them to that,” I said.

A wise move. But what a bout Yujie. You have a crush on her, he said.

“It'll pass,” I said coldly.

Fine then. I'll help you, he said. The water ran down my body. I looked up at the shower head and spaced out. Later that night I stole away from my house to the park near by.

“Its apparent I was given these powers for a reason. So lets test them” I said out loud to myself.

“KAJI KAME!!” I shouted. My body burst into flames and the outfit from before returned. I looked at myself.

“Damn. These are some nice cloths. Ok time to focus,” I said. I closed my eyes and concentrated. I held out my right hand. I began to glow with a red light. My eyes snapped open and a blast of fire burst from my hand. It soared over the park in a blaze of glory.

“Hmm. I wonder if I could use this Bo like a zanpaku-to?” I wondered pulling it around to the front of me.

“Umm what is your name?” I asked it? Nothing. I asked again. Still nothing.

“Aw man,” I said. then i heard a giggle come from behind me. It was a bird. It giggled some more.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“My name is Kaori?” it said.

“Kaori?” I asked. Then my Bo began to glow. It changed to the shape of a sheathed katana.

“What the hell?” I asked.

“Oh goody you released me!” its said.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“I can change shape when you call me. From a staff to a katana and other weapons. I am your fighting partner Kaori,” the bird had change into a woman.

“So you are like a zanpaku-to,” I said.

“Sorta,” she said. “Anyway, we can get to know each other later. I feel a demon. Its one of the wolves. Coming from......down town. We have to hurry!” she said.t

“Got it. Do I have super speed?” I asked.

“Yep,” she said with a smile.

“Cool. Lets go!” I said dashing twords main street. I jumped onto the telephone poll and jumped from one to the other. I could feel the wolf. I landed to the right of it. It was about go into the comic book store.

“HEY!” I called to it. It turned to face me.

“Stores closed,” I said dashing at it. My sword was a Bo again. I bashed the demon over the head and did a flip over him. Getting in his way.

“KAORI!!” I called. Nothing happened.

“Why won't you transform?” I asked.

“You have to say the activation key,” she said from my hand. I looked up. The wolf was about to strike me.

“BURN THE SKY! KAORI!!!” I yelled. The Bo turned to the sheathed sword. My eyes closed then snapped open.

“HITEN MITSURUGI STYLE! Ouki Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki!!” I drew the sword at a blinding speed. Cleaving the beast in half. Its body faded out into a cloud of smoke.

“WOW! That was amazing master!” Kaori said.

“Kaori,” I said.

“Yes master?” she asked.

“Don't call me master,” I said looking back at her.

Chronicle Thunder
Chapter 4

“ ...-kun. Marco-kun. MARCO-KUN!!!!!!!”

“YAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! WHAT?” I yelled at Kagome-san.

“Sano-kun and Shadow-kun are gone. What should we do?” she asked.

“Why the hell are you asking me?” I asked.

“Because of this note Sano-kun left,” she said handing me a slip of paper.

“Guy's, went to help Kimari-sempai. Marco-kun is acting leader. See ya, Sano and Shadow.” it said.

“What a guy,” I said with a depreased look on my face.

“So what do we do?” all the girls asked me. I looked around at all their faces. They had the please look on their faces. The kind in animes when their eyes get big and sparkle as if about to cry.

“Ok ok. The responsible thing to do is to head to the Kitsune village,” I said.

“Why there?” Meia-san asked me.

“Because we need to help them. From what Kitsunami-san has told us they need our help. We all may not be fox, but we have an obligation to up hold the peace in Japan as the Phoenix members. Now the only piece of buisness is to find it. Kitsunami-san, where is your village?” I asked.

“Its in Osaka in a disclosed location. Only fox members know where it..... What's wrong Kuna-kun?” she asked me. I had pressed myself against a wall in a cold sweat. Eyes wide as if someone had shot at me.

“D-d-d-did you say Osaka?” I asked scared.

“Yes,” she said.

“Oh in that case. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” I screamed like a little school girl.

“What? What's wrong with O-” Kira-san began before I covered her mouth.

“I'm from Osaka. I left my mother in Osaka. And because of that if she finds me there she will sick her on me,” I said staring at Kira-san.

“Who?” Meia-san asked.
“My fiancee,” I said depressed again and in a low tone.

“YOUR FIANCEE!!!!????” they screamed.

“Yes dammit!” I yelled back.

“Is that part of the reason you left O... I mean home?” Kira-san asked respecting my wishes.

“Yes. I'm only 15. I moved up a grade. I was the smart guy of Osaka,” i said depressed again.

“I've read about you! I knew I recognized your face. You were on the front page for balancing Osaka's check book,” Kitsunami-san said.

“That's enough of that. Let's just go and get this over with,” I said walking twords the door.

“But, how will we git there?” They asked.

“Like this,” I said. I turned into a bolt of lightning and dashed along the room. I picked up each one of them and went out the window. Within seconds we were in Osaka.

“Wow! That was so cool Marco-kun!!” Kagome-san shouted.

“Urasai!!!! If you say my name to loud then-” I started to say, but.

“MARCO-SAMA!!!!!!!” a voice shouted out from behind me. Then she rammed into me. Tackling me to the ground and hugging me.

“Is this her?” Kagome-san asked. I got to my feet with the girl clutching my jacket.

“Yes this is her. Her name is Hakumei Nawasawa. Mei for short,” I said.

“Marco-sama! You came back to me! Wait till your mother finds out!” Mei said.

“Marco-chan?” I heard. I whipped around. Sure enough it was my mother. She stood there staring.

“Ka-chan?” I said softly.

“MARCO-CHAN!!!!!!!!!” she said. She moved faster then I do. She was hugging me to the extint that I was choking.

“Ka-chan! Can't breath!” I said in a high voice.

“Oh my baby has come back! I'm so happy I could cry!” she said crying.

“Ok I get it. Please stop crushing me!” I said. She let me go to look at me.

“You still have that green hair. I don't care if it is natural, it just reminds me of your father,” she said about to cry again. Then she looked at my arm and saw a crushed Mei attached to it.

“Oh Mei-chan!” she said grabbing her and shacking her out. Mei look dizzy.

“My Marco-sama is home!” she said looking over at me. Thats when she noticed Kira-san and the others.

“EEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!! Who are these huchies?!?” she asked.

“NANI!??!?!?!?!?” Kagome and Kira said about to attack her.

“And that mange mutt and that girl with the ponytail? They just as slutty.

“YOU BITCH!!!!!” Meia and Kitsunami yelled.

“Please don't kill her guys. She didn't mean it,” I said trying to calm the 4 down.

“I mean every word out of my golden mouth. Trash like you should be on the ground begging for Marco-sama's mercy,” she said adding fuel to the fire.

Aww hell, I thought. The girls were about to kill her. I sent a bolt of lightning between them to keep them from her.

“That is enough dammit!” I said.

“Yes you will need you strength against me,” I heard someone say from behind me. As soon as it was said Shards of ice came flying down on me.

“Fenikkusu Kaihen! Thunder Magnum!” I yelled. As soon as I called I was blasting the shards into snowflakes. Uzamaki dropped from the sky with his Zanbato barring down on me.

“KA-CHAN, MEI GET THEM TO SAVETY NOW!!!” I yelled.

“But-”they began.

“GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!” I yelled. As soon as they were out of site I went to work.

“So now the fight can really begin!” Uzamaki said with a huge grin. He ran at me full speed. I block his attack but I couldn't parry. I jumped back.

“Ok. That was good Marco-kun, but its not good enough!” He said screaming and running. I got my swords ready. It was time for my new attack. He swung. It was an after image he it.

“What?” he asked.

“Over here. Now for the attack Sano-kun taught me. Fennikkusu Bunka: Jime Garami(Strangle Seal)!!!” I swung my swords in crossed motions 8 times at his back.

“Nice try!” He said smiling and looking back at me. His body turned to ice and shattered.

“Know this Marco-kun. I will kill you. Sooner than later,” his voice said fading. I transformed back and went home. To my real home. I was a bit bloody.

Shit! How am I going to explain this? I thought to myself walking down the road with my jacket slung over my back.

Hah hah hah hah hah. I gasped for breath as I ran along the night sky. Wondering where they would strike next. Something move in a nearby shadow. I sent a blast of fire at the shadow.

"AHHH! Bro its me," Alan said.

"Aniki. Thank god its you. Did you see something just now?" I asked

"No. You must be seeing things. Come on Jon. You have to go home," Alan said.

"Ok. Later Aniki. Tell Arri I said hey," I said walking twords my house. My name is Jon Winfield. A senior in high school. I live in Nashua. Its been relatively safe here, but as of late strange things have been happening. I'm a member of a Group called The Kame Buntai. (Turtle Squad) I've been seeing things though. Tiger shaped shadows that loam over me while I walk. It scares me. Anyway it was the next day. Our School is taking part in a exchange program with Japan. None of the people in the Anime Club got pick so we just went about our buissness. I was walking into school when I saw this Neo looking idiot in the way.

"Hey!! Get out of the way you moron!" I said.

"Nani?" he said.

"Don't play dumbass with me! Now move!" I yelled.

"Urasai bakara!" He yelled back. He turned around. He hade brown eyes, Black long hair, wore a long black coat, black combat boots, Black jeans, and a black tee shirt. Like I said, he looked like Neo. I walked over to him. I put my hand on his shoulder to turn him around. Out of nowhere he pulled a sword out of his jacket. I backed up and pulled my extending staff out of my back pack. Since he wanted to play with me I decided to play along.

"If that’s the way you want to play," I said in Japanese.

"Wait, you speak Japanese?" he asked.

"Yeah. What of it?" I asked.

"Forgive me. I'm new here. My name is Yuroto Sanosuke. Sorry for attacking you," he said.
"Its ok. My name Is Jonathan Winfield. Its nice to meet someone I can actually talk to in Japanese," I said

Chronicle Dark
Chapter 4


CLANG!!!! CLASH!!!! BANG!!!!! BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!! I sled away from the force of the impact. Kari-san was strong. I stood glaring at her for a few seconds.

?Doshdeno, Kimari-sempai? You stopped attacking me. Have you become afraid?? she asked smirking at me. I charged her again without answering. Just as I reached her I was teleported. I rose from the ground in Kyoto in front of Kira-san's house. Then I saw this strange creature attacking a human and a fox tribe member.

?What the hell? What the hell just happened?? I asked.

?I summoned you. Can you help us stop her?? The kitsune asked me.

?Sure,? I said. the girl rushed at the human holding the scyth. I warped in front of the girl and grabbed her by the neck.

?Dark gaze,? i said. My eyes became a gate way to the inner soul of her being. She soon calmed down and came to a stop. She got limp and I cradled her in my arms. I handed her over and was sent back to my battle.

?What was that about, Kimari-sempai?? Kari asked me.

?Not sure. But thats of no concern. Lets continue. Kuro Tori!!! (Black Birds)? I shouted. I spun my lance at a high speed. Doing so I generated a massive black pool of energy. Within it a group of jet black birds began to pour out of it. They were ravenous with hunger and were quite ready to eat. They rushed at Kari at high speed. She quickly swatted them away like gnats. I saw that this was a one sided battle. I thought that my life was over. A overwhelming sickness. My death will come swiftly. My hands trembled. The beads of sweat dripping from my face showed my horror. I thought of my sister. I thought of my parents. They think since I got these abilities I'm invincible. I couldn't lose. My time has come.

?Don't even think that. Fool,? something said.

?Who's there?? I asked.

?Thats not important. You want to win right?? it asked.

?Yes,? I said.

?Then take my power,? it said. As it said this The Black emerald came rushing towards me. My eyes grew wide as it came.

?The time has come, my reaper,? it said. I then realized who I was talking to and I understood. Now was my time to ascend.
?Su-pa kaihen,? I said in a chilled voice. My body erupted in a black light and shrouded the battlefield in a black mist. My hair grew longer and longer. My sleeves reached to my hands. My eyes turned completely black with white outlines around my puples. My hair had white tips. A the mist became a black cloak around me. My lance became a long scythe. It was radiating energy. The mist faded. Kari-san had her eyes closed trying to protect her eyes from the mist. She looked over at me with a amazed look.

?This can't be! You haven't earned that power! That power belongs to my master and you have no right to soil his good nature and name!? she yelled.

?Silence. This power is my right and privilege from the one who entrusted it to me. You say that I have soiled your masters name, then yes that was my goal. I'm a Phoenix. And because of that I was given this power. I am Onry Kimari. The reaper of the darkness. And your time has run out.? I said pointing at her.

?That is none sence and you know it. My master will crush you with the power he gave me. I'LL KILL YOU!!!!? she said rushing at me. Her sword was pointed at me. I side stepped the attack and unleashed a black orb of energy and launched it at her back. She dodged it and attempted to counter. It was useless. My scythe was behind her head and was ready to cut it off. She teleported out of this little set up and made another stand. She must have felt a little strange. Our powers were now even. She was panicked and distressed. I could tell by her eyes. We stared for about 10 minutes. Her eyes widened. She had a plan. She lunged sword sheathed. Battojutsu. She was going all out. Braced my self for the impact. Just as she was in front of me, she vanished.

?Over here,? she said. I turned. she was behind me. I lunged and she disappeared again. Her speed was out standing. She was dashing at all angles. with this type of movement predicting her move was damn near impossible to read. She made 13 pass at me attempting to cut me. I let her blade touch me so that I could tell where she was coming from.

? Very good, sempai. To bad it has to end now,? she was right behind me. Sword held high above her hand. She came down attempting to cleave me in two. As she came down I saw her out of the corner of my eye. I glared. I repositioned my scythe behind my back. Blocking the attack. My eyes widened. I saw her next move. I wiped my scythe wiped around and I slashed at her. She semi dodged the attack. Though she tried to avoid the hit she still got a piece of it.

?How did you see me coming from a speed of mach 2? HOW?!?? she said. She looked at me. Then a look of shock came over her face.

?I thought that only existied in anime. A third eye?? she said. I had grown a third eye on my forehead. It was giving me information that you could only dream of. Attack patterns, energy trails, possible attack tacktics, and more. Like a sharingan but better. I rushed her. She attempted to dodge, but it was a setup. I could tell where she would dodge to and was there waiting.

?Now. Reaper's sealing crush!? I said. I thrusted my scythe handle into her stomach. There it unleashed a black blast of pure energy through her. It seals all of your unique powers until you are 100o meters from me. With this the fight was over.

?This time I'll let you live. The next time we met you will perish. Now leave this place,? I said glaring down on her.

?Fine. I'll leave but before I go there is something you should know,? she said with a smile walking twords me. Since I sealed her powers I had deactivated my third eye.

?And what is that?? I asked. She was close. To close. I braced my scythe. She just kept walking. She was right in front of me. She grabbed my shirt and pulled me close. She leaned in and ..........(blush) SHE KISSED ME!!! SHE FRIKIN KISSED ME ON THE LIPS!!!!!!

?Until we met again, sempai,? she said leaving in a black cloud. I looked over at Hades. He had a dumbfounded look on his face.

?So you are the reaper. Very well you may have the stone. Now get the hell out of hear you heathan,? He said kidding. I warped out of the underworld and headed back to the others. My mission was complete. Thats when I sensed something. Two forces working to fight three enemies. I could tell that one of the forces was Sano. But the others were unknown. Well I have nothing better to do. May as well help Sano-kun. I thought dashing in the direction of the energy sources.
