Long time, no post. An absence caused by laziness, mostly. But whatever. I'm back for a spell, but I probably won't be here long.

Here's some "Excess discharge for you, in written form. Enjoy.

Listen to the river, it holds the answers to your veiled soul, but only the sound of your own breathing can unlock your mind. I am your master, and I command you to bite the hand that brings your dinner, for it is also the hand that keeps your chains from breaking. The door. Open the door, though it is locked, and you do not have the key. The beast that fuels your hate and taints your will has your answers, and you must take it from him. Look for me on the mountain top, for I will not be there.

The Sound of Silence
By Simon and Garfunkel

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turn my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

"Fools," said I, "you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said "The words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sound of silence"

No subject
Just to update--Dust for Life is so miserable of a band, I pitched the CD out the window. Their main song, Step into the Light, makes a drastic switch 25 seconds into it from Hard Rock to..................................................................................country.

It's too stupid to make up. Paradise Lost is alright though, and today I bought "Old Man's Child" and "Cradle of Filth"(with whom I have some previous exp. with.)

Also, I'd like to elaborate on my username: It's NOT Dante from Devil May Cry. It's Dante from Dante's Divine Comedy, the origional poem from which Devil May Cry got the names Dante and Virgil. Though I enjoyed the game, I didn't name my account after it.

Lost Souls is a book by Poppy Z. Brite my sister gave to me not long ago. I really like it, dispite some of the weirder scenes.
