Yet Another Day I'm Posting Late...

It's been a while, huh? Sorry about being way too lazy to update. I was just too busy with the DVDs I bought from Glasgow. I got Volumes 1-3 of Get Backers! YAY! I found exactly what I wanted to buy. It makes a world of difference to watch it on a big screen television. ^_^

Unfortunately, they were £20 each. Quite expensive, that's for sure. I wish I was able to buy more...

Well anyway. I ALMOST had a second stroke of bad luck coming back from Glasgow. Remember that man who got run over by the train that Me, CuteKilala and Mum were on? That was the first. This second one that almost happened to us, was this insane man saying he has a bomb and wants to blow everyone up in the train. Causing everyone in the train to panic. We were meant to get on that train at first, but we arrived late. Thankfully, we missed it and got on the next one. It was in the newspaper the next day. It's unbelievable how anyone could try that... -_-'

I also came across one amazing deal at Pizza Hut. They can let you eat as many pizzas you can eat for just under £4. Now THAT'S a bargain! I found that out while eating my dinner there. ^_^

Well CuteKilala never came with us at the time. She wanted to stay home and read fanfics on the computer. Now she REALLY needs to stop this. I mean that's what's stopping her from coming on MyOtaku.

As for me, I've been busy playing games. I'm almost finished this one I'm playing (Conflict: Global Storm. America calls it Conflict: Global Terror), so things should get back to normal soon. Normally, I complete game like that faster, but considering it records all my stats, I've been trying to do levels perfectly. Like every shot landing on target and things like that. I know it isn't important, but it bothers me. ^^'

I also watched "War of the Worlds" yesterday. It was pretty cool. Full of action. Just the way I like it. ^_^

Anyway, now for a screenshot of Get Backers. I've seen quite a few complicated villains but Akabane is just plain strange! When Ginji was in hospital, Akabane, Ginji's sworn enemy, drops by to visit him with a Fruits Basket. lol. ^_^

Hey everyone. Sorry that I had to miss updating. My generosity can be inconvenient... I had to send two episodes of Ah! My Goddess to some guy who is too afraid to use Bittorrent... I had to upload them on to "YouSendIt" and watch it to make sure there were no errors. *Sigh* Oh well. Thanks to him, I got my sleeping times wrecked and slept for 16 HOURS!!! -_-'

Well I guess I can look on the bright side, I get the computer ALL NIGHT! YAY! Although it gets kind of lonely and I'm not allowed to move around until everyone wakes up. Since the computer is in Mum and CuteKilala's Bedroom/Living Room... Oh well, at least the seat is comfortable.

I came across this site with some funny comics called "The Rouge's Gallery". Normally, I don't approve of anime getting mixed, but somehow, I'm enjoying it. The artist made anime and game characters live a city that's like "Traverse Town" from Kingdom Hearts. He also made his own characters too. Some of them I found pretty good. Some things happened in the comics that I definitely found funny. Like Inuyasha getting turned into a woman, "Belldandy" kicking Miroku in the nuts because of his usual pick up line, etc... lol. Well I'm putting the banner of that site in my introduction, so you can check it out if you want. But here's a link to page 1 of the female Inuyasha story. ^_^

Here it is.

Just click "Next" to read other pages. Although it does go on to the next story if you do it enough. BTW, some enchanted water was thrown on him to make him a woman. Just thought I should clear that up.

Well I better visit some people before my head hits the keyboard from tiredness.

   My Birthday Was Alright

Hey everyone. Sorry I updated a little late. I got so caught up in watching Get Backers, that I lost track of the time. Oh well. It's a great show, so who can blame me?

I learned something about Ginji. His past is very painful. Well I did get to see some funny episodes too. I'm not going to ruin anything for anyone. But I will say this. The last episode I just watched there, was about this little girl who needed a blood transfusion. The problem is, the blood is extremely rare and the blood she needed was stolen so that scientists could study it. So Ban and Ginji were hired to get it back.

I just wish this show could keep going... It's a shame it only had 49 episodes... Well it's like that for a lot of anime, huh? There are some people complaining about Inuyasha lasting too long. I personally love it when a great show lasted as long as it did. Don't some of you agree?

Oh! I sent the first episode of Get Backers to my brother, Michael. He's never been the type of person who watched anime, but I just thought I'd show him what me and CuteKilala are watching. He seems to think every anime has nudity in it. I just wanted to show him that not all of them do. He told me that when he was buying me and CuteKilala anime in America, he had seen lots of half-naked figures on the shelves. I personally don't watch anime with lots of nudity in it. So I'm very fussy about that. Which is partly why I'm in the Anti-Hentai club.

Let me just say one last thing though. Sorry I got to all your sites a little late. My birthday was a more distracting than I thought. I got £40 from Mum so that's great! That gives me something to spend in Glasgow. A trip that's getting delayed too much by Mum! >_<

It's My Birthday!

Well it's my Birthday today. That means I'm now 18 years old. So far, my day was pretty normal. I think it will be all day. I won't have to lift a finger though. Well there won't be any parties or family or friends coming to see me. There never is. But I'm okay. It's like this every year.

Here's an interesting fact about my birthday. I was born EXACTLY 100 years after my Great Grandmother, who was born on January 15th 1888. I was born on January 15th 1988. What are the chances, eh? ^_^

Well, so far I don't know if I got any presents or not. What I DO know is, that I'll be taken to Glasgow tomorrow to get a late Birthday present. Maybe I'll buy Anime or Manga while I'm up. I'll be on the lookout for Get Backers. ^_^

I would usually get games but I can't think of what I want at the moment. I got a lot of the ones I wanted during Christmas. Oh well, I guess it's a good thing. I have money to spend on other things now.

Me and Mum were trying to unblock the Kitchen sink ALL DAY yesterday! Stupid sink... You know what made things worse? The tap wouldn't stop running! So it constantly filled the sink up and we had to empty it with buckets. I tried switching off the pipes but even THAT didn't work. It switched off every tap in the house except that one! So I tried wrapping 3 layers of cling film (Plastic Wrap) and 3 layers of tin foil around the tap. That didn't even work either! Well, it slowed it down, but not a lot... But eventually, we got it unblocked by covering one sink hole, and using a "Plumber's Friend" on another. So thank god that's over. I'd hate to be emptying sinks for my birthday. lol. ^_^

There Hasn't been much else really. But it is why I never updated yesterday. I did make it to some sites though, when I had time. Sorry I couldn't make it to everyone else's...

Well, I'll be trying to watch Get Backers, Full Metal Alchemist, Lost or Stargate SG-1 with CuteKilala today. I'll also be helping people across the internet with some things too. I guess I have plenty to do after all. ^_^

Here's a bunch of quotes from Get Backers. Along with screenshots for visual aid. ^_^

Cast:

"Ban" (Guy with Sunglasses)

"Kazuki" (Guy that looks like a woman)

"Shido" (Guy wearing a bandana)

Ban: "So you're the Thread Master Kazuki, eh? I've heard the rumors."

Kazuki: "Please stand down, Ban Midou! I don't intend to join the fight, but I can't very well let Shido get himself killed either. Even a man of your power wouldn't be so foolish as to make enemies of us both."

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Ban: "Makes no difference to me. I'll take you both on." *Pulls string off*

Ban: "I'll take you both down!"

Kazuki and Shido: *Gasp*

Ban: "JUST KIDDING!"

Ban: "C'mon! You didn't think I was serious, did ya!?"

Ban: "I didn't come out here to participate in a deathmatch."

End of Scene

Well I'll go visit everyone now.

Mum's Away Out!

Looks like I can update again. My Mum is going to be away with our cousin Katrina. So even though it's Mum's day on the computer, I'm taking this chance to update again. YAY!

Let's see, what did I do today? I got to watch episodes 3-5 of Get Backers with Mum. I also watched episodes 26-27 of Get Backers with CuteKilala.

Someone asked me where the screenshot was from in yesterday's post. Get Backers of course! ^_^

Episode 27 was absolutely HILARIOUS! LOL! Ban and Ginji (Ban more obviously) were getting annoyed by this bratty high school girl. Ban and Ginji were trying to get her to tell them where this suitcase that she and her friends stole from their client was stashed away.

She wasn't very co-operative with them and kept wanting to get things from them as payment for her info. Ban and Ginji were getting help from some of their friends, who were driven mad by her too. LOL! ^_^

Here's a few screenshots of one scene. Ban, Ginji and the others were getting threatened by a bunch of guys in black suits. Trying to be serious, Ban asks what they were going to do if they do as they are told. Then the high school girl comes on the scene, cheerfully talking on the phone with her friends in a blond bimbo accent (That's her dub voice). Completely wrecking the serious mood. LOL! ^_^

   CuteKilala's Back Online!

Well I'm back to update again. First of all, I'd like to apologize to HazelKeys1985 for the graphic description of the guy that got ran over by a train. After all, I'm forgetting some people are sensitive to that sort of thing. Now to answer two questions I got asked.

1. "Would I risk my life to save my dog?"

Well I don't have a dog so it's hard to say. All I do know is, I avoid situations that could put my life in danger. So to be completely honest, I could never have the courage to throw myself in front of a train to safe my dog if I had one. This may seem a little cruel but if I WAS in that situation, I might have threw my shoe or something to make the dog run away off the tracks. Better than letting it lose it's life, right?

2. "Did the Dog Survive?"

I never found out anything about the dog. Sorry...

You see, when the incident happened, it was pitch dark outside, so I couldn't see much of anything. To the right of the train, it seemed there was nothing but fields. To the left, there was a suburban area. I saw the silhouette of two teenage girls looking at the train. I wonder if they knew the man that got run over?

Well apart from all that, me and CuteKilala got to watch Get Backers with Mum. She's enjoying the show. We are going to watch episode 3 - 5 with her today. Although of course, we saw those episodes before. Me and CuteKilala are up to episode 26 now. ^_^

Speaking of CuteKilala, Some of you may have notice that she finally updated. It was all thanks to me! I pushed her to update. She wasn't going to update yesterday either. Although, I had to sacrifice watching Get Backers yesterday because of it. Since she was really busy visiting everyone on her friend's list last night. Oh well, I kept my promise to make her update so I'm happy. ^_^

On a side note. It's 4 days until my Birthday. Normally, I'd be thrilled but there are two problems.

1. I don't want to be 18. Since I don't feel that age. Mum will expect me to act like an "adult". Meaning no more would I be allowed to run in the streets! >_<
2. I'm not even sure if I'll get anything for my birthday. After all, Christmas only just finished. There's nothing to buy presents with... T_T

Well I think I should end this post with a screenshot and visit everyone now.

   Another Update!

Surprise! That's right, I'm updating today too! I found time on the computer since I woke up early. I guess that's one advantage to waking up too early. Won't be on tomorrow though. Since it's CuteKilala's day. I'll try and push her to update, don't worry. She's still too busy reading fan fics... -_-'

Well, me and CuteKilala never got to watch "Get Backers" yesterday due to Mum wanting to watch "Celebrity Big Brother" all day... Every year that starts, there's nothing else on the TV in this house. Personally, I'd rather be watching something more interesting. Thank God for the computer! ^_^

Well, That's the electricity running low again. It keeps running out fast because of the heater. I with the weather would just hurry up and get warm! I had to give my only £5 to Mum to get electricity last time. I'm afraid I have to do it again. Well at least she pays me back. So, I don't mind too much.

Oh! I can't believe I never mentioned this before! This happened before Christmas, when we were doing our Christmas shopping in Glasgow. On our way home on the train, we felt the train crash into something on the tracks. We also felt it under our seats, which were above the train wheels (It felt and sounded horrible!). Plus it was the front carriage we were in too. It delayed us for HOURS! The driver never told us what it was. I kept looking out the window and watched the train driver, looking under the train for something.

The train company, First Scotrail, ordered in buses to get us to Greenock, where we live. The buses weren't supposed to be running that late at night, (sometime past 10pm) but the bus drivers were nice enough to get us and all the other train passengers home for free. ^_^

Well I eventually found out what it was that the train crashed into. It was a 27 year old man who was trying to save his dog from getting run over. The poor man was crushed under the wheels of the train carriage we were on... I can see why the driver never told us what it was. Although I suspected it was something like that. I saw an ambulance at another train station near by, taking something away.

Now for a funny screenshot of Get Backers after the sad story to cheer you all up.

Well I better go visit everyone now, before my Mum wakes up.

Sorry I'm Late...

Hey everyone. Oh well, I guess this isn't a good start on my new year's resolution. If you can remember from my last post, I said it would be to get on MyOtaku more often. I also said I was up all night. Well, I'm still stuck that way. I'm trying to get back to normal. I find it hard to figure out who's day it is on the computer since the days are passing by so fast. Being up all night isn't all it's cracked up to be, that for sure.

I just watch a documentary about Samurai. It was very interesting that rice used to be a source of income in Japan. But the thing that caught my attention the most was how their ranking system worked. It seems the higher ranking Samurai are recognised when they carry 2 swords. Also, they were supposed to be treated with the highest respect. If you did something that disturbed that Samurai, it could mean the end of your life. Sort of reminds me of Sesshomaru a lot. lol. ^_^

Now I have 40 episodes of "Get Backers" on the computer. It's getting really exciting. I'm on episode 23 at the moment. I'm going to watch more episodes after CuteKilala wakes up.

Here's a screenshot of a very funny scene. Anyone who saw the show will know what I mean. lol. ^_^

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

They were hired for a recovery job to get a box. It was said that what was what the box had inside, was as valuable as platinum. Ban thought it WAS platinum. He said he wanted one tenth of whatever is in the box as payment for recovering it. Instead of it being platinum, it was a "Platinum Melon" instead. lol. ^_^

You are probably wondering, "How can a melon be worth so much!?" Look up Japanese melons and see for yourself. They are ultra expensive in Japan. Particularly "Yubari Melons".

Well, I can tell you that CuteKilala got the first 5 DVDs of "Chrono Crusade" for Christmas. We have also been watching that. I think we are on episode 14 or 15. I'm not sure. The extras are quite interesting. I also never Azmaria to have an extra explaining the show. It's quite funny. lol. ^_^

I also found "DNAngel" on Dual Audio to download from the internet, so I'll download that for me and CuteKilala to watch. It would have been much easier to find if CuteKilala wasn't so fussy about only wanting to watch anime in English...

Well I'll go visit everyone today. Then right after that, keep an eye on the calendar for my next day on the computer. I hate it when I miss my chance to post when I have something to say. -_-'

   Happy New Year!

I hope everyone enjoyed staying up for the start of the new year. I stayed up and I still never got to sleep yet... I've been so busy with my Christmas presents, that I lost track of the time.

Geez... I'm hopeless! I keep getting so distracted that I never get to update much at all anymore! T_T I think I'll make this year better by making a lot more time for my friends here on MyOtaku. I WILL make more time. I'm fed up having nothing to talk about, just because I do nothing but watch anime and play games all day. I'm going to FIND something to talk about this year!

I appreciate all the Christmas cards I got but I never managed to get round to making one for all of you. Christmas is just too distracting but I'm sure you all understand. Well I made this for you all instead last night.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It's all I could think of with my state of mind... (I'm shattered/tired out my head!) It's a picture of Edinburgh's celebrations for New Year that I like to watch every year. The fireworks are like the 4th of July, only in New Year's Day. ^_^

Well I'll try and make this post a bit shorter than the last one because I must admit it was long.

I started watching another another anime called the "Get Backers". It's really cool. CuteKilala really likes it too. (Which is a change, she doesn't normally watch anything I pick out for some reason.) It's about these two guys who run a recovery service that takes back what was stolen and stuff like that. It's an action comedy that's said to be for girls but I recommend it for both genders. ^_^

You know what? There's a guy called Kasuke in the show that I find hard to believe how much he looks like a woman, you know? I mean I never knew he was a guy until he talked. Take a look! O_O

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Sorry I don't have much more time to post, but I'm too tired to write anymore. I have to use my strength to visit all your sites. I'm finally back. I plan to keep it that way this year as best as I can!

   Happy Birthday Michael!

Well it's my Brother's 25th Birthday today! Wow. I only just realised today what age he was! O_O It's been almost 5 years since I last saw him. I miss him very much... Even if he annoyed me sometimes, it's nothing compared to CuteKilala's mood changes as she goes through her teenage years, I'll tell you that! lol. ^_^

Well I'll get to see him again once we go to America so that's a good thing. It will be a little strange though considering he'll be married. Oh well. I just hope that doesn't change things too much. My Brother can't wait to see us either so I'm sure not too much changed. ^_^

I do know I've lost an opponent for playing games. It's been YEARS since I played against a human opponent! My Brother's job takes up too much time. Well I will keep time for playing games, no matter what. After all, I'm going to try and go into the game making business someday.

EDIT: It seems it's also ElvesAteMyRamen's birthday. Happy Birthday to her too! ^_^

Sorry I never updated for almost 3 weeks! I've been completely busy with a game I bought second hand with my pocket money. Metal Gear Solid 3 is the game. I rented it in the past but wanted to own it. So I have it. I have almost everything unlocked in it so I'm getting somewhere. I hate to leave a game unfinished. I mean 2 days wasn't enough to complete it. Well there were a lot more things I did so it didn't take me three weeks to complete it. lol.

Speaking of games, I came across "Inuyasha: Feudal Combat" and "Full Metal Alchemist: The Crimson Elixir" in the shops when we went to Glasgow! They were imported from America of course. I never thought in a million years I would see it HERE of all places! Unfortunately, we couldn't get them for Christmas because they can't be played here without a chipped PS2. Darn it!!! >_<

Speaking of when we went to Glasgow, I also saw Inuyasha, Fruits Basket and Full Metal Alchemist mangas! We even saw Chrono Crusade, Fruits Basket and Full Metal Alchemist DVDs but Unfortunately, we couldn't get any of them because we never had the Christmas money with us at the time... Here's the thing that confuses me. Why the heck do they sell mangas of Inuyasha over here and NOT THE DVDS!? It was still great though to see that this country does have everything else. I never knew they sold them in the shops at all in Glasgow until we went there. Greenock sucks! >_<

I didn't know mangas were actually thick books. I always thought they were something like western comics look. Well you learn new things everyday. I have only seen and read scans of mangas and never the real thing..

Well we have the Christmas money now so we're going to Glasgow very soon (Before Christmas I hope) to get some of this stuff. YAY! I can't wait! It's like a dream come true to see all those anime things there. ^_^

I got a haircut before my passport photo was taken. What a carry on that was. My Mum wanted me to get a haircut for ages and it ended up looking bad. I also got a shave for the first time in my life. My short is starting to come through now. I never got one cut on my face either. YAY! I was worried about that. I only shaved for the passport photo so I'm not shaving again for a while. After all, I find it hard enough to remember to brush my teeth everyday. I don't want to have that on my mind too. Well at least I don't look scruffy.

Apparently, the law for passport photos have changed. It seems smiles are forbidden in the photo. Why the heck did they do that!? Oh well, passport photos are supposed to be bad anyway. It's my first photo of me in years so that sucks. I never saw it yet. I hope it doesn't come out too bad.

I got to watch more FMA episodes and saw the latest one from America this morning. I never expected the Furor (spelling?) to be what he was! It's getting very interesting. (Not that it wasn't interesting before)

I also got to download a Christmas special of "Father Ted" for Mum. I think that comedy is HILARIOUS! If I make clips, I'll post them. Trust me, it's funny. ^_^

I even got a LOT of Christmas cards from people in my PM box. Thank you very much everyone. I feel so loved! ^_^
