Shattered Heart
You took my heart to the top of the sky.
I was in love and thought you were too.
I should of known better.
You dropped my heart from the sky.
And now my heart is scattered across the memories of past days.
I can never love agian.
Today was bad HE was mad,
and when he's mad I am sad.
He grabbed the bottom of my neck,
and I really tried to fight like heck.
But I am weak,
I called defeat.
I heard a angel say "Be free,"
today my daddy murdered me.
The Glass is Half Empty
She breaths in and counts to three,
as she hears the twisting of the key.
She prays to god that he is sober,
but he hasn't been since last October.
She tries to run but its too late,
he had seen her and wants to mate.
He holds he down and lifts up her shirt,
then treats her like a pile of dirt.
She finds he voice and speaks up loud;
"This isn't fair this isn't right,
I swear to god I'll make things right!"
When he was done and went to bed,
she held a pistol to his head.
She pulled the trigger and he fell,
she killed the man who made life hell.
Five minutes of pleasure nine months of pain,
and all this to him was a game.
