Hopefully people don't mind the mind week posting.
But my visits just hit 6000. ^^

Not quite up to speed yet

Well my hopeful nature didn't help. My grandpa went from the nursing home to the hospital instead of coming home.

I did manage to change my background, colors, and add a chart (Up in the intro). The bg and color is in sapport of Breast Cancer awareness month. They'll change later for Halloween.

Hopefully things will allow a more work, artwork and visits later. Have a good weekend!

Starting Back

I'm going to try to start coming back. I have two pics up already and starting to poke around a bit more. But I'm not sure what to do mark my return! None of my projects or pictures seem to drawing much attention so I'm looking for suggestions and help. I want to make a second chart for links next to my request (which I need to update) chart. Any help please?

I'm confused and concerned (While techniquically still not here)

I'm sapposed to be working on things but came by anyway. And I saw something that makes me wonder (plus the slightly concerned). The Ed Rant about OCs (on the fanart main page). My concern comes in two fold-

1. Do people really hate Original Characters that much? Or is it just that people hate where they are most commonly placed. (This is a concern because almost all of my pictures are OC.)

2. People commenting on the rant have brought up two things; Seperating OCs from the show they are based on and a dislike of pairing with actually show characters. (I do the second often.)

My current policy for when I submit fanart- Is to submit it in orginal unless a actually show character is in it. When the OC is by themselves or with another oc than I submit it under original add use the tags to show that it is related.

But OC are a large part of different fanart sites. So I don't think banning them would be good. (Somebody ranted about that idea.) But do you think there should be a seperate section for pictures with OCs? ie: have the original show and the original show+ OC, to add to that the catergory of characters inspired by or in connection with a show.

Well the girl I was having the most trouble with at work is leaving! Woot! I wonder how things are going to start chaging. Because the other girls are going back to school. Oh well that will wait till the boss gets back from her vacation. ^^ Now excuse I'm gonna go work on some ideas after ANOTHER visit to bathroom. Stupid bladder!

Its Venting Day

I just need to vent about a few things.

1. Once again Airy has been mistaken for Sakura. I know that I colored her hair lighter this time but I don't even see how she looks like Sakura! A Kiss of Trust

2. And once again I don't even think I placed in another contest. I know its probably in my head (expect for the fact that didn't win) but I never seem to have much luck in contest unless they take the top 15. While I did get alot more comments than I usually do on my pictures it still feels weird.

Well this morning just leaves me wondering about my pictures again. Wondering if colored pencils can ever get the attention that computer colored images do.

Now the rant is over. Thanks for listening. ^^ How is everybody doing? Grandpa and I are doing great together. Though I think the poor is confused about where everyone else went.

Picture wise- It'll be a bit till the next pictures make it up. They are still being penciled and have way too long till they are reading for scanning. Plus it seems like I'm going to have a heavy few weeks at work so yeah its gonna be a bit. Goals for the next few pictures- The Prelude (the first part of the new manga), The White Butterfly (Jinna's other butterfly and her fourth picture), and an other picture of Airy.

IF you have any idea or ways you'd like to see Airy or any of my girls feel free to say so.

All right I have two things to ask you guys.

1. Do you think I should finish/post a tiny picture titled Kiss of Trust?

Other stuff- The family got off all right. And the doctor says grandpa is doing good! Thank goodness. Last thing they left in my care died two days after they got back. Granted my grandpa is not a fish.

I hope the trip goes smoothly. And may I get lots of pictures done while their away! ^^

Hi!

Oh good grief why did Adam have to come by when I ask about underwear?!? (see previous post) Over 2 years and he cames than. Well that's my luck.

We had a surprise inspection at work!! Wonder how it went? I had to leave less than half way.

Not mych going other than my family is getting ready to go on a trip without me. well I'm actually staying to take care of my grandpa. Which we'll see if my mom is going to stay and help after his doctor appointment on Tuesday. (It'll really be a last minute decision their leaving on the trip right after the Tuesday appointment.) Hopefully soon that means I'll be able to upload some pictures!! I should go finish atleast one more. (I'm hoping for two but really want to get four uploaded in a week.)

How is everything going with you guys?

Gotta go sounds like the computer is in need again! Later!
