I'm burnt out from my boss leaving work (leaving us manager-less), my room not making much progess from still taking on water, and my recent pcitures not making ANY progress! Not to mention the site hates me at the moment.
But to make this a happy ending to my day KungPowChicken has kindly been the first to finish an entry for my contest! Here it is-

Well I finally posted the announcement picture! *cheer* Ok here is the details.
The Ocs Airy,Jinna,and Songbird are the subject of this contest. Two major sections to enter- Fanart and Wallpaper.
For the Fanart Section there are four catergories to enter-
*Airy, my Naruto Oc
*Jinna, my Bleach Oc
*Songbird, my Fullmetal Alchemist Oc
*Multiple-Person - Combine any oc or any character from the show they are in for one picture
(You can click on the image at the beginning of the post for the links to each girl and a introduction to each girl.)
Wallpaper Section
*Use any oc in a themed wallpaper of your own design. Only requirement is that the oc must be recongizable.
Rules-
*Ocs name must be in the tag.
*Deadline is July 22nd
*You can enter any or all sections you want.
Helpful bits-
*in the picture on the top there is a tag for each girl. It also has Jinna in her begining of the series outfit and closer to the bigger for Songbird.
*Songbird was paired with Scar, Airy with Kakashi, Jinna hasn't been paired with anyone specificly yet. She does spend time with Utitake,Hisagi, Ishida, and Grimjaw (she was a hollow at that point).
*Accuracy is a judging point. But only one point.
*recongizable is a point in both the fanart and wallpaper
Prizes-
*Individual girls will get a black and white, single person picture
*Multi-person and Wallpaper will get a full color two person picture.

Just some info

Well this post has been redone several times depending on how much I wanted to say. But here is the abbrevated verison. Work is being reshuffled because my boss is leaving and we are a bit worried about a couple staff members leaving too. And no progress has been made in my room mainly because the rain won't let the ground dry.
But here is the main reason for the update-
THIS is the pre-annoucement annoucement: The current plan is to begin my contest offical next weekend and end on the weekend of July 21st.
The Contest: Has two sections- Fanart and Wallpaper
The challenge is to use one of three of my OCs in your work. Either Songbird,Jinna or Airy in either a fanart picture or a wallpaper.
While wallpaper section has been added to this contest it will be handled judging and proze wise slightly differently than the fanart section. And here is why-
Fanart will have 4 different sections you can enter:
-Airy http://fanart.theotaku.com/tags/airy
-Songbird http://fanart.theotaku.com/tags/songbird
-Jinna http://fanart.theotaku.com/tags/jinna
-Multi-person category
The first three sections are done for those who want to just do individual picture of a character. The final category is for people who want the challenge of drawing multiple people. This is so the pictures don't have to go up against each other. But the multi-people category is wide because this catergory allows the contestant to do either multiple ocs or characters from the show the oc is related with. As long as more than two people are pictured in your image you can enter it in the multi-person category.
*Now for the Wallpaper section- use one or all of the ocs in a wallpaper of your own design. You can combine them with characters from the show or just use ANY image of my character that has been done. (I have made request of my characters by other people already.)
This is being done this way to give enough material for people to make wallpapers.
HINT: Wallpapers will have a judging point of clarity of theme. Meaning a jammbled mess of pictures won't get as far as a wallpaper with thougth in it. Please use the new feature to talk about the work you put into your wallpaper.
Prizes: The individual ocs will each have a section and a prize of a black and white picture of one character of your choosing.
The wallpaper and Multi-person category will have the prize of your choice picture (no yoai or extreme nudity) with one or two characters in color.
RULE: You must have the character's name as one of your tags. I can't come by that often so I need the entries in a place I can check easily.
FAQ: Yes one person can win all 5 prizes. IF you have enough time to enter all categories you do stand a chance of winning them all.
-If no one else enters your category you will automaticly win.
(FAQs will be updated as I get more questions)

A Major Minor Update

First off I'm sorry about how long this post is going to be. But I'm not planning on make alot more for awhile so feel free to read it in parts if you want.
Part A. Life Stuff-
Well my parents are back. Good new is that they liked the bathroom my sister and I worked on. And they agreed with the removal of the wallpaper in their's. Now we all are giving our opinion on several different things. The list includes new tile for both bathrooms, a different color of paint for their bathroom, and how to redesign the basement.
Incase you missed it my family had a large amount of water (I put it this way because several people I talked to have water, mud and other things in inches in their basement.) in our basement. The issue here is that this my bedroom. Well now I am in the bedroom that used to be my grandpa's.
After an oddly emotional conversation with a basement finisher we decided not to do that but used the information to help decide what we are going to do next. So far we agreed on removing some drywall, building a closet and redoing all the floor (not only in my room but in the rest of the basement as well). Than we are going to finish the wall again. We are debating the best way to get rid of the original leak that caused this entire problem.
Not to mention while all of this is going on my mom's birthday and Mother's day are coming up. (My mom has a huge to-do list for making over the house.)
Part B- Art wise
Well I finished only one more picture on my growning list. I thought I should get a little more done before I try to get moving on other progects. I actually have an idea I want to work on with Airy in the fanmanga section. Yeah I know I never finished the manga that I have in there and I'm sorry for that. But this manga story idea has a bit more meaning in it and its going to be a challenge. You see besides sound effects I'm only planning on using one sentence in it. I'm going to see if I can pull that off!
My next couple of pictures are both contest entries. (I didn't win Kanel's but I did place! That's an improvment for me.) One for Kakashi1993 (the next picture) and Ayame377 (I'm gonna try. hopefully I can think of something.).
Part C- My Contest
My secret judge and I are working on it! More informatioon coming soon!

A Possible Contest

I'm thinking about holding a contest. But I have two possible ideas for a contest and wanted to know which one you would you particpate in?
1. A fan art contest with three of my OCs. Three possiblites to win or win up to three times.
2. One OC but can be done in either wallpaper, ecards or fanart.
Which idea do you think would get more people involved?

A Very Tired Blackwings

First I want to start with sayying thank you for all the responses on my last post.
But now for the update on how things are going. It is looking like I am going to be out of my room for atleast a couple of weeks. The wall is messed up and the floor is bad (even though the carpet took most of the water). The wall itself is still leaking water. The insurance company isn't making any hurry to come have a look at it. But all this makes for a huge to-do list after the leaks finally stop. Unfortunetly another rain storm is on the map for later this week.
I have completed (with help from my sister) one of the two bathrooms. The wallpaper is down, walls re-painted and relocated decorations from the rest of the house. But I'm back to cleaning up my room bit by bit.
Artwise I have one picture down and two in the work. They are both outfit concepts so I'm hoping to get them done this week. I want to do some ..caring.. (hugging or maybe kissing) pictures but the stories I am working on all have my characters at the parts where they are depressed or fighting with their male counterparts. *sigh*
Frankly I think this all adds up to fustrated and tired blackwings. Thanks for reading and hope you didn't mind the moaning. ^^ (Especially since it didn't make any sense.)

Life is a getting a bit wierd right now. Sorry I haven't been on the site lately. I've wanted to get on and talk to you guys but the computer was being used. I wanted to say thanks for all the visits! And comments!

I'm still working on my growing list of pictures. Still haven't quite gotten ideas for Jinna and Airy that I like yet but that doesn't stop me from working on the rest of the list!
(I'm a little annoyed at the government right now. They took half my refund because I was on the edge of none taxable income!)
A girl at work is pissing me off. But I got the ok from my boss today that if she slacks again I can start badgering her to get her work done. (My boss is putting into place the theroy if you don't do your work you won't be working here.) So hopefully she'll be gone shortly. She's lazy and annoying.

I missed it

Well it has been a wierd time this week. I pretty much just want to sleep. (I have a pretty bad headache going.)
But the good points of this week are that I got to eat ice cream at Cold Stone Creamy (I've missed them. Been ages since I got to go to one), got a state bear for my bear collection (just something that has sorta happened), got several skecthes done, and finished one picture.

I have two headshots to color and than I want to do something Jinna! I finally thought up several things about her and actually have things in mind. But I just can't focus enough to get anything done!
