Many, many colleges...
It finally occured to me that posting these over here instead of in my Livejournal might be an idea. The pictures...
I just wanted to make a college with some pictures of anime guys I like with their heads resting in the laps of the women they love. I tried to find pictures of Tamahome/Miaka, and Kenshin/Karou that fit, but I gave up and made this picture...
I wound up making half a dozen "romance" colleges. For some of them there was a particular song that helped me form them. That first college was helped by the lyrics from Bryan Adams' "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" that go, "When you find yourself lying helpless in her arms, you know you really love a woman."
The second one was inspired by the lyrics,"There's nothing in this world that could ever do what a touch of your hand can do," from the Bad English song "When I See You Smile."
The third one wasn't so much inspired by lyrics, as one that got a particular song stuck in my head. I liked the pictures, and once I put them together the song that got stuck was the Shania Twain song "I'm Gonna Get You Good."
The fourth one I haven't had any music connect with. I have the one line, "I'm safe in your arms," but it doesn't have music behind it. Anyway this is the fourth pic, may be it'll bring music to someone else...
The fifth one has gotten both the Faith Hill song "This Kiss" going in my head (I love the lyrics, "All I wanted was a white knight with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse," from that,) and the Disney number, "Kiss the Girl." Maybe some of the boys in the college don't exactly qualify as white knights, but can they help it if they drifted? *eg*
The sixth one didn't immediately get a song going in my head. I was sitting watching Shrek 2 when this college and "Holding Out For a Hero" hit it off. I prefer Bonnie Tyler singing it over the Fairy Godmother, but...
Now, I made all those images of romantic pairings I like, but while I was stalking Tamahome/Miaka pictures I did my share of looking at Tamahome and Hotohori. It occurred to me, as it has before, that not only do I like to have guys in pairs I like there to be some difference between them. So, along with all those m/f colleges I also made this college of some of my favorite guys together...
It also occurred to me looking at the pictures of those guys, I seem to have something for certain hair colors, and clothing colors. 8-)
