Hi, all. Just sitting at work bored out of my skull. I woke up really late this morning and had to take the kids to school in my pj's. Then I came to work, had McDonalds and got sick to my stomach. One more thing that has been crossed off of my list of stuff that doesn't make me sick. Then my cell phone won't stop ringing so I want to throw the damn thing out into the parking lot for a big truck to run over, then I remember how much I paid for it and if I don't have it I don't have any form of communication other than the computer. I don't have a house phone anymore because of this problem. Mostly my brother wanting help with his rent, but I can't help him because I have people that owe me money that haven't paid me back yet. Then spending like 400 on Cooper's birthday pressie, helping a friend of mine with her bills, and putting my own money into the shop and not getting reimbursed yet, I just don't have anymore that i can toss about. I swear, if you get a loan don't tell anyone. Because then everyone you know is hard on money and needs to borrow some. Then fat chance on getting it back right away if at all. I was supposed to get that 300 back today, but it hasn't materialized.
I just want to go home and sleep for days. We don't have the kids until Monday thank gods, so maybe I'll get some me-time this weekend. I need to clean since I feel like I am the only one who does it. I would boycott, but I can't stand living in filth.

Bleh
Evening everyone! I hope you all had a good day. My cold came back today totally kicking my ass and keeping me in bed. I don't complain about getting to sleep all day, but it just means I need to start getting to bed earlier!
I am really getting used to my computer. Not knocking PCs or anything, they are wonderful machines, but I am never turning back now that I have my apple. I am still trying to get used to the laptop keyboard again. I haven't had one since like November so it is something I need to relearn.
I'm going to lay back down. I'm not feeling too hot, so I'll drop by everyone's sites tomorrow morning when I get to work.

   Vonnie's got a new toy!!!!
I got my new computer yesterday!! Then spent about 15 minutes on tech support with sprint getting the darn thing online, but I got it! :) So that is where I am now posting from is my new apple powerBook. Not the iBook I originally intended to get, but the one that is about $500 more. Yeah. And I bought Cooper an iPod yesterday instead of getting myself one (he's done so much for me) and my bill ended up being roughly $2000. No big, really. I got what I wanted instead of settling, so I am as happy as a clam. Plus, this doesn't take as long for downloads or anything. Like I put all of my old music on here from my iPod in less than five minutes. It took nearly an hour to get the music on the iPod from the PC, lol. I don't think I will ever go back to a PC again. I have been converted!!!

Ickyness
Hey, guys. How is everyone doing? I feel a little bit better than I did yesterday, but I still have a pretty nasty case of vertigo. And I still can't smoke. I bought a pack of ultra lights (yuck, not menthol) but I haven't had the courage to smoke them yet. I don't have much of a fever anymore thank gods. It actually got up to 100.2 last night which is very high for me since my norm is only 96.4. On the up side, I can actually breathe without my chest really hurting, thank you coricedin HBP, but my nose and my head feels like there is a pound of cotton in there. Oh, and I can't hear out of my left ear, but as long as people talk into my right I am good! The ear does hurt a little bit, but I am queen of over the counter drugs and have figured out the right comobs to eliminate virtually any pain and have near the equivalent to a prescription without the nasty side effects. NyQuil and Sudafed, you can't go wrong!
I finally have my appetite back too, which does sort of blow. I have been coughing so much that I have gotten one hell of an ab work out, so I figured if I didn't eat like I have been and keep coughing, I would have some killer abs and the fat would melt away from me not eating. Perfect diet plan, lol. Not healthy, but the easy way out.
Cooper and I are going tomorrow to get my computer. I was going to get another iPod for myself as well as one of those iPod alarm clocks, but Coopie's iPod busted so I am going to just get him a new one and get mine later. He has just done so much for me over the years to get me out of my mildly bad childhood and make me happy, so it is my turn to make him happy. It will never equal what he has done for me, the only reward I need is to see him smile :) I love my Coopie!!! I am not sure if I want to go to The Gardens Mall to the Apple store there or go on and go to Wellington Green. I think I want to go to Gardens because they have a Saks there and I need some new lip stick (I am addicted to Chanel makeup!). Then, depending on how I feel, we are going to go to eat dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and hopefully catch Brokeback Mountain at City Place. I love that shopping district!!! Maybe this loan is a bad idea, lol. I'm going to blow all of my money on sunday :(

   I am so sick right now. This is day number two that I haven't worked. I didn't want to go today, Blas made me stay home yesterday. I was going to go today and leave at noon or something if I didn't feel good still, but he caught me before I took my shower to check for fever. I have one, he told me I was bed bound. I have had the cold sweats for the past two days, fever running on and off, can't breathe, can't eat unless I force myself...I don't know what the hell I have, but it sucks butt. I have the constant urge to throw up, but I don't throw up unless I am near death (yeah, some stupid side effect of not getting hang overs...) I am just ready to die. I haven't eaten in about 18 hours. My whole body hurts and I have what seems to be a touch of vertigo. So I can't really drive unless I want to get disoriented. Like this morning dropping the kids off at daycare, the car next to me started backing out and I thought I was moving forward into the building. I am losing my damn mind.

Hey everyone!
Well, I just got back from the bank not too long ago after dropping off my loan application. She is going to call me with the information and such so hopefully I'll have 2000.00 by Friday. Next week at the latest. So I can get my computer finally and then take the rest of the money and throw it into the shop. The most important thing right now is to get my computer. So in the coming weeks I should have my new apple computer! Wish me luck everyone :)

Damn motorized vehicles!
Thanks for all of the ideas and support for my car, so now I am going to explain a little about my town.
Okeehchobee is a very small town (but we're getting there!!) The biggest place we have to shop is Walmart. We don't have public transport since we don't have the population for it. Walking and biking isn't really out of the question for me since it never gets cold (god I love Florida!) but I live probably about 2 Miles from work and there are no sidewalks. There aren't any sidewalks until you get into city limits. People here drive like maniacs. They see a 30 speed limit, they think that means "hey, let's go as fast as we can and try not to get pulled over!" There are so many bikers and such that get hit by crazy old people it's not funny. Then as far as taxi's go, I couldn't get around. The company only operates when it wants to and charges crazy fares.
I did get my fuel pump today for less than 200, and the guys are trying to put it in now. Even though they are more looking at it like it is a part off of a damn gundam or space age robot("what the hell do I do with this piece??"). So over the weekend I got a little stir crazy without a car and found a 63 Ford Fairlane that I might buy. it's only 1500 because it needs work, but I need a new hobby. And if it means I have a cool ride in the end, I will definately take the time to do this stuff. There is also a Nova that a friend told me about that I am going to look at this afternoon. If you knew me personally, you would know that the Nova is my dream car. If I had to, I would live in that damn thing if I could just buy it. This one is in much better condition than the Fairlane is, so I might go for that one. I have dreams of hot rods running through my head right now ::drools::
I hope everyone had a good weekend! Mine could have been a lot better, but I got a lot of cleaning done so there is room to move in the bedroom. I am in the process of going through my old DVDs and CDs and giving things away. I want to do everything in my Marilyn and Broadway stuff, but I doubt Blas would be ok with that. So I need to get my own private computer room if we ever find a place of our own so I can have my little library/office/dolled up room. I guess we can barter. There is a house we are looking at and he wants to paint clouds and stars on the bedroom celing, so I'll barter that with the computer room. I want to hang all of my posters, lol. I am such a broadway drama nerd!
I feel so fab today, so I am off to be my happy self and clean the shop up the best I can! Squirt (Sito) isn't feeling too well today, so hopefully he won't get sick all over the place and give me more to clean, lol.
And thanks for my button, Reno. It's so cute XD.

My poor Yetta
All of that crap about my car for nothing...I was taking Blas to his uncle's viewing, and my car died. I had to coast it into the parking lot of a Walgreens. I managed to get it started again only to have to coast it into the lot of a church two miles later. So I start to take back roads to my house to have it stall 200 yards down from the church. That time I almost didn't get it started. It made the other two miles back to my house, but it stopped about five houses down from mine so I coasted it into the driveway with no power steering or brakes. Blas had to stop us from hitting the shed with the E-break. So now I am carless in a town that doesn't have public transport or taxis that run after 8PM.
So it looks like I am stuck at home this weekend. I can't go anywhere so I don't have any reason to skip out on cleaning :( It's only 10:20 right now and Blas is still asleep, my mother has gone AWOL so I am stuck here. I can't do laundry since my washer and drier don't work and I don't have a way to get to the 'mat. My books are still packed in boxes from moving and I am afraid of making noise and waking sleeping beauty about 15 feet away from me (yeah, my room is about half the size of the darn house). Man I hate feeling useless. Saturday morning with nothing to do. And there aren't any cartoons on. I would see if Jeremy is up, but he is either still at Mat's or in bed with a hangover....
I feel so alone, lol.
