December Visit & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
HELLO!

Sorry my December visit is a little late...I just had alot of stuff to do. I finally finished my Chemistry independent study, and I'm almost done my English one. And I'm getting better at Calculus! My mark actually went from a 71% to a 74%! YAY! Now if I can get it up another 6% I'll be set for some nice entrance shcolarships next year! I also went to visit two other universities. One is the University of Waterloo (near Toronto) which has excellent Co-op programs (a program where you get hired by someone and apply what you've learned, and get payed), and their usually in th top five ranking universities in Ontario every year. About three weeks ago I went to Carleton University, which also has a Co-op program in my field (Biochemistry), but they are not as renound as Waterloo, so Carleton U is under Waterloo and Ottawa U in my preference list.

Anyways, enough about school, I don't want to bore you guys too much XP I started watching the Negima anime a few weeks back, and it's actually pretty decent, although I've heard it's not very loyal to the manga. And I also bought a new game: Tales Of The Abyss. It's an awesome game! Much better than Lengendia, although it was pretty good too. Here's how I wound up buying it: Friday night, I as visiting sites, and I noticed Shizuka had been playing it, and she said it was very good. Just as I was about to type in my "December Visit", Mom said she was going into town, so I came along. I found an EB Games and bought Abyss...I couldn't help myself XD

Well, that's all for this month. Talk to you guys in the new year! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

   November Visit!
Hey everyone! I know it hasn't quite been a month since my last visit, but November is going to be busy, so I decided to post while I have time.

Well, I dropped my Physics course, because I was having trouble in it, and I was also having trouble in Calculus. Since I'm going into Biochemistry, I don't need Physics, so my parents suggested I drop the Physics to focus on Calculus. So now I've got a spare (free period), and it helps ALOT! I'm also tutoring a Grade Ten student, so that also sucks up my time. But hey, it pays ten bucks an hour :p I also have two independent studies: one in English, one in Chemistry. So, more time taken away. Ah well, it's all for marks and school, so it's worth it^^

Today I went for a tour of Ottawa University, and it was awesome. Their campus is HUGE, I'll need to carry a map around with me if I go there during my first year. They even have their own Martial Arts room, but we didn't se it cuz it wasn't part of the tour :( They also have some cool robots in their med-school, where the prof types in particular symptoms, and the robot reacts as if they had a cold for example! They're used to practice before moving on to real people. On the way back home, I got to talk with someone my own age since I was one of the first people on. We talked about our dogs, and how she has like every movie imaginable. Apparently I'm terrible at movies too, since she was talking about how her dog reminded her of certain characters. So, that shortened up the one hour trip, unlike the trip to the campus, where I was stuck with a bunch of grade tens throwing candy >.>

Anyways, that's about it for the monthly report, so I'll talk to you guys in December!

Visit For October!
Hey Everyone!

Well, here's my visit for October, Just lettin' you all know I'm still alive and well. But man, school is CARZY lately, with a good chunck of homework every night. The math and science isn't the problem, it's the ENGLISH homework! It takes soooo long to think about and finding quotes...But anyways, enough of my complaining about school.

I beat Xenosaga III two weeks ago, and it was an AWESOME game! The ending was really good, but it had a few new questions, so Namco-Bandai games might make a fourth one, but that might risk ruining a really good conclusion to the main story. We'll just see what happens.

I picked up Full Metal Alchemist: Conqueror Of Shamballa...that was also an AWESOME movie! It was a good conclusion to the anime too, with great animation! If you ever get it, the special features show Studio BONES, where the FMA anime and movie were made...it's a weird and really unorganized set up, you wonder how they got anything done!

Oh, and I find myself wanting to read Love Hina again, so I think I will when I have the time. I recommend reading it for anyone who wants a good romance/comedy manga. This series also drive me to get better at drawing, and work on my graphic novel in progress...I'm still thinking up the character's relations, and the story in general. Once I get the time, I'll write up a rough draft of the basic story, and anyone who's interested in reading it can drop me an e-mail!

And I LOVE AUTUMN! It's one of my favorite seasons, especially to travel, since the forests are so beautiful with their many colours! I recently went on a road trip to go to my cousin's baptism, and the scenery was AWESOME!

Anyways, that's all for now. Talk to you guys next month! And HAPPY HALLOWEEN in advance everyone!

My Update For The Month
Hey Everyone!

Well, school started last week, and I was sick...So I was very miserable! But now I'm OK. I've got four classes this semester, which comprise of English, Physics, Calculus, and Chemistry. I'm gonna get alot of homework when things actually get going...But ah well, next semester will be easier.

Well, I went and bought Xenosaga Episode III, and it's an amazing game. The battle system is so simple, but fun at the same time. That and there's ALOT of story packed into it. And I also picked up on a new anime, called "Shakugan no Shana", it's weird, but I think I'll keep watching it.

Oh, and I saw the movie "Accepted" with my girlfriend last Sunday, and was pretty funny. If you want a laugh, I'd tell you to go see that movie.

Anyways, that's all for now. I think I'll go visit sites now. Have a great month!

Another Road Trip+Bye
Yay, I get to go to the states on Sunday for that exchange program I brought up in June. I'll be coming back Spetember 3rd, have Labour Day off, and then start school on the 5th. And this week is my last week at work! After that I'm free, until school starts up that is.

Now, about school, I'll be taking all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), along with Calculus and Discrete Mathematics (I think there's Geometry in there). I'll also be taking Visual Arts, English and a spare (a period that I'll have as a free one to do homework and stuff). I'll also be looking for scholarships, so I'm gonna be busy for awhile after September 5th. That and I'm also outgroing anime, as in there are new anime starting, and I don't care anymore. I'm also not interested in any new manga, and rather save my money for University and my education. With all that said, my visits to theotaku.com will be very much less frequent, maybe down to once a month if that. So, I guess I'll see you guys around when I'm on.

Have a great week, and also a good life everyone!

P.S It's my birthday tomorrow, I'll be 17!

Big Spender
Well, I spend alot of money this weekend! I went and bought a new pair of running shoes (since my other ones were kinda old) and the Fourth InuYasha Movie at Wal-Mart (there's 70$ gone). Then, I decided to buy the family a digital camera, since we've been wanting one for a long time, and our current one is still film^^; (That's 245$ gone). So, that's 315$ gone. Ah well, the movie actually was pretty good, and the camera's cool!

And we babysat my four year old and year old cousins over the weekend. After they left, we went to go see Pirates Of The Caribean 2, which was good, but not great...I preferred the first one.

Anyways, have a great week everyone!

Oops, Forgot Something
Ah, well having a long weekend felt good. Kastom was over on Friday and Saturday, and we played some Phantasy Star Online, and Super Smash Brothers Melee. I also listened to some of Kastom's stories from his little adventure at Shad Valley (if you don't know what that is, go visit Kastom's site, he has an entire post on it). We forgot one little thing though, the T.W.I.T article! Oops, maybe next time we'll think about it.

Now, on Sunday I went to my grandparents' place where there was suppost to be some of our other family members visiting, but they never showed up...The people who were suppost to be coming weren't really organized *sigh*. On Monday, I drove to Ottawa with mom to go to Costco, but they were one of the few stores cloed on the civic holiday, so we went to Sobey's instead.

Anyways, have a great week everyone!

Long Weekend! YAY!
Alright, it's the August long weekend! I get Monday off of work, so I have absolutely no plans for that day! If stores and stuff are still open, maybe I'll go try and see Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest, since I couldn't go last time I tried. Anyways, Kastom is coming over tonight and staying til Saturday, so we might get around to writing another T.W.I.T article, since we haven't yet since summer started cuz he's been away.

Sunday, I'm going to my grandparents house, and then Dad wants to go to church, since we haven't been in a long time^^; I just hope the priest isn't really b oring and monotone like the old church we used to go to...

Oh, and I tried drawing again on Wednesday, and it turned out very well! I guess Sunday was just an off day...I get those every once in awhile, I hate it when it occurs in art class, cuz then I can't seem to do anything!

And now, I have to get into work soon, so have a great weekend everyone!

Bleh...
Sorry about the title, I just couldn't think of anything better. I tried to draw yeaterday, but I couldn't get anything right! AAAHHH! The first page I drew turned out fairly decent, but the second one...Only half of ity turned out...If I ever get around to scanning some of my stuff later, maybe I'll post it up. Now, I dunno why I couldn't draw, I felt kinda distracted by something...

But anyways, this weekend was boring cuz mom had our only vehicle for the weekend, and my brother, dad, and I were grounded in Carleton Place...now there's not much to do in our little town. So, on Saturday I went to a friend's house to pass the time and use their pool. My friend's dad also gave me a wireless access point for my laptop, so I can use internet anywhere in the house without a cable! The problem is we had trouble getting it to work, and it still doesn't work -_- Ah well, I'm sure my uncle can help me or something. Yesterday, well, I had my drawing troubles, and I tried to teach my dog how to play fetch...It didn't work out that well cuz she doesn't bring the ball back! SHe's too much of a hog! However, we made some progress, she at least drops the ball now, instead of running away with it every time I get close...

Anyways, I gotta get to work soon, so have a great week everyone, and welcome back Kastom!

Back From The Road Trip!
Well, got back from the cottage in Smooth Rock Falls (900Km from my place XD)on Monday. We had some fun, got to ride the four wheeler, do some swimming, and go TUBING! I love tubing, and my grand dad was being extra careful to make my brother and I hit as many waves as possible XD

Monday the weather wasn't nice, so we decided to make our way back...The only problem is, there was a massive storm for about 80% of the trip, strong winds, lightning, thunder, really big hail, trees falling down and downed power lines...That was fun to drive through. We wanted to eat dinner at about 5:30PM, and stopped at Subway for dinner, but 90% of that city was without power, so we decided to go to keep going...The next city was hit by a tornado, with trees littering the roads and downed power lines, the power was also out. So, we continued on, and at the next stop, half the city was without power, and the places that were open were so busy that we couldn't get in without waiting for a ridiculous amount of time, so we made our way to a city about 40 minutes from our house, and they had power, YAY! So, we had dinner at about 10:30PM...that was the best dinner ever it seemed, we were STARVING!

And yeah, I shouldn't be gone til the end of August now, so I should be a bit more active!

Have a great week and a wonderful weekend everyone!
