An Update!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!
Ok... i haven't updated in forever, but... THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! ok first the boring, unimportant, past stuff...
1. got guild wars:factions w00t!
2. took finals and aced it
3. blah blah blah...
NOW THE IMPORTANT AWESOME STUFF!!!!!!!
Guests came from Japan!!! The first 2 days, it was kinda awkward... since it was so unorganized and no one really mixed into each others' groups. o well im gonna make it in a bullet form kinda...
Their Stay:
Day 1 (July 02):
1. We welcomed them at the airport
Day 2 (July 03):
1. We had dinner with them
2. We watched the dancers dance
Day 3 (July 04):
1. Party at my family's house
2. It rained...
3. They made sushi and soup!
4. We were getting to know them a little better.
5. I met some of the guests.
Day 4 (July 05):
1. We had dinner with them at a Chinese restaurant.
2. We did the fish dance, where we would pretend to row the boat.
3. The mayor of Tome gave his thanks and a speech about how they had a great time.
4. I became friends (almost brothers) with Takuya, who is a city employee, and Ko, who is a councilor! Our saying is: 'Only 1, No. 1, Ichi Ban!'
5. We really bonded this day, and some people were crying from the emotion, since it was the last full day together.
Day 5 (Today, July 06):
1. I woke up early on my own!!
2. The dancers were in the newspaper!
3. We went to the airport with gifts for them.
4. My parents past out the large gifts to the mayor and the very important people.
5. I passed out my gift (2 pieces of awesome candy!) to everybody!
6. Tokue, a very nice lady, gave me a fan!! It's awesome! I can't describe it, but it is sooo cool!
7. Takuya was going to give me his hat, but we decided he needed it, since it had Texas on it!
8. Ko gave me a headband that the dancers wore during the dances!! I felt very happy!
9. Lots of Pictures!
