Fun....random....Facts About One Piece Characters: LUFFY & ZORO
I got these facts from wikipedia.com. some of the facts, people already know. others were too long to post. and some...were kinda boring^_^.

Luffy:
Strangely, all versions of his origin show that he was more mature and serious as a child than he is now.

Even before eating the Gomu Gomu Fruit, Luffy could not swim and was affectionately nicknamed "Anchor" by Shanks' crew.

Luffy tries to impersonate his crew with Chopper and Usopp taking the laughs for it. So far he has impersonated Sanji, Chopper (with Nico Robin's help for the horns), Zoro, Usopp (with Nami's "help" for the nose), and even himself (albeit frozen) at one point.

Luffy is 17 years old. His birthday is May 5th, which is Children's Day in Japan, an allusion to his childish attitude.

Luffy is 172 cm tall, or 5 foot 7 inches.

Luffy's older brother is Portgas D. Ace. ("Portgaz D. Trace" in the English anime)

Luffy likes to eat all sorts of foods (and preferably lots of it), but he is mostly fond of meat,

In Japan, there is a short movie that features One Piece and Dragonball Z joining forces to take down Eneru who tried to destroy Japan. Both Luffy and Goku team up to put an end to his evil. (See here) (an earlier facy stated that Dragon Ball Z is Odas favorite manga)

Luffy is a Taurus.

He shares the same initial as Gol D. Roger, Portgas D. Ace, Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard) and Saul D. Jaguar.

He might not be as stupid as he appears, having attemped to use Newton's third law by using the ship's cannon to try and stop the ship.

In certain conversations were Luffy is being explained something he tends to look as if he understands it but then refers to it as a mystery e.g. Alabasta arc, when he was being told about the dance powder


Zoro:
His surname, Roronoa, comes from the real-life French pirate François l'Ollonais. This is because there is no differentiation between R and L in Japanese, so the name may also be said R'Orronais. His first name is also redolent of the famed swordsman Zorro.

Eiichiro Oda stated that he made Zoro as a bodyguard of Buggy in earlier versions of the story; he scrapped that idea for the final version of One Piece.

According to Oda, Zoro most resembles a shark.

Zoro tends to sleep when the crew is sailing, even through blizzards. He is usually awakened either by Nami or Sanji in a rather violent way.

Zoro has an unnatural ability to get lost even in small spaces. The manga speaks of him as not having any sense for directions. Luffy often makes fun of this, despite the fact that he isn't any better.

Zoro is 19 years old. His birthday is on 11/11; a slight pun considering number palindromes are called 'Zorome' in Japanese. He's a Scorpio.

Zoro is left-handed.

Zoro has a huge scar on his chest from his duel with Mihawk. He also has scars on his ankles from when he tried to cut his own feet off to free himself in Little Garden.

Zoro's dream is to beat Mihawk, currently the strongest swordsman in the world.

Zoro's most important sword is Wadou Ichimonji ["The One road of Harmony"] (Kuina's sword, within the top 21 best swords in the world as one of the 21 Ou Wazamono or '21 Great Edges'). His other two swords, obtained in Loguetown, are the Sandai Kitetsu ["Third Generation Demon-Splitter"] (a Wazamono or 'Sharp Sword' that has a curse in which all the previous owners fell to tragic deaths) and Yubashiri ["Snow Run"] (one of the 50 Ryou Wazamono).

Zoro is 178 cm tall or 5'10".

Zoro usually doesn't get along with Sanji.

It should be mentioned that when Zoro intends to fight seriously, he ties his black bandana (which is usually tied on his left bicep) over his head.

Zoro was offered a position and a number in Baroque Works because of his bounty hunting skills, but denied when he was not allowed to "meet the boss". He also refused the invitation because he wasn't allowed to become the boss. Afterwards, he beat the person who offered, Mr. 7.

Miss Wednesday insults Zoro by calling him "Mr. Bushido". However, the title stuck and became his nickname.

   bored...wait! ViDeO GaMeS!!!!!
well....i'm bored....and i'm writing for the heck of it.......i don't have much to say but...*sigh* oh!! i did see bobobo-bo bobobo (?) last night.....that show is almost too random for me....I said ALMOST. i told dolphin934 bout it, and she said it sounded dumb like me...LOL!! but alls cool....i think i am going to start watching it...if i can figure out what it is about....i tried watching Pokemon....now, i don't mind watching once and awhile....but i prefer One piece any day!!! it reminded me too much of my new (but old) games I got recently....i got the pokemon pikachu version for GMA....i can't help he's soo cute^^!!! i also got a silver version...it's kinda boring though....more on video games: i rented mario party 7....and sonic riders....(shadow's not in it T.T) but they are both loads of fun......well i gatta go now....i wanna work on more of my stories......i will try to visit everyone today!^^ k TTYL!!!

   AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHH!!! STUPID TV!!!!! STUPID TV PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so mad i could scream!!!!!!! this is the third time i have tried to watch one piece, and it turns out to be canceled!!!!!!!!! i am NOT starting over....and im NOT waiting to watch it every saturday night!!! I want my one piece!!!!!!!! i can't watch it on da web cause of the cursing and violence...(dnt ask)....so even though 4-kids sucks, it's the only version of 1 piece i can watch!!!!! ohghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! i am fuming!!!!!!!! (notice all the !) now of you will all excuse me...i'm going to write an angry e-mail, then bang my head against a wall!!!!!!!! URRGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   NO School!!!!!!!!!!!
NO MORE SCHOOL!!!!!! kinda shad though...2 of my friends won't be here next year...sho shad... T.T !! Srry it took so long to post but i jst got outta school!!!!! *dances* yea so any way...i finally will have time to work on all my stories and pics! the one pic i put on here REALLY sucs....not only was it not my best work...but my scanner...urrg!! but good news! i got a new scanner!! so i can post all my piccys!! my dad bought me some new video games and a cool (music)keyboard too! yep so....i'm srry if this is short...i wanna go work on my stories...so give me a buzz!!    just catching ya up...
I've been so busy with testing and such, that i hav'nt had any time to work on anime. i've been going site to site finding cool one piece collectables. as soon as i can, i'm gonna get them!^^ but besides that...my play is in full throtal. only around 2 weeks until we preform.
before i go I wanted to give my OP on 4-kids....
i really hate how they took out character names, important deaths and any reference to the japanese culture, but...i'm kinda glad they got rid of da violence and cursing. i would not be aloud to watch one piece if they had not taken those out. so i'm a little grateful for 4kids. really though, is the violence and cursing REALLY necassary??....but i'm still not happy about changing all the important things that the show needs!
oh! and one more thing before i go...

whew!!!! i'm right in the middel (more like 2/3) of the EOGs (End Of Grade) tests! ugg!!! so long and tedious!!!! i barely have time to write my stories!....right now i'm talking 2 dolphin934...she says hi and she'll modify her site soon!!! yep...i just cant wait for summer...well actually i cant wait for our play!!^^ yep...so..oh! i wanted to add this video!! is't soo cool!!

   No more One Piece?!?!?!
Every day, I've been watching One Piece as soon as I get home from school. but today is the day everyone is supossed to turn their clocks back. so they changed the TV schedual! now their not showing it at all!!!!!! I'm sooo mad! The last episode i saw was ep. 62. Chasing Luffy, where we first find out that Ace is luffy's brother! I know everyone is waaaay ahead of me...but I'm watching the american version so...it just really SUCKS!!!!! soooo mad!
