another day
not much to say, life out here in the hick's town is slow, dull and uneventful. Still after all this time i haven't been able to get a job, frustrating very much. yep, not alot going on today, going to my cusins basket ball game later. hm, well i been reading the love hina manga, and i like it, it's very amusing and at the same time a great love story ^^ well also been playing a game "Front missin 4" which i think is preaty good, like a startegy version of "Armored core" Man, i need some change, lately i been thinking of moveing back to Licoln park, but i need some cash first. I know I'd be a bit better off back there, prolly more oppertunity there for me, and i would be close to all my friends again, and Megan ^-^ we'll just see what happens i guess, welp, for now, see ya round, take care all *hugs*

p.s. hope everyone enjoys the new midi music i got up.

well, been a while indeed, sorry, i been lazy, busy... mostly lazy, but am back now, lots a time off and it seems most of my friends ar no longer around maybe. Hm, well they will be missed, it's good to be back, hm, though my story i had going, well... procrastination got the better of me, and also, can someone help with my background possibly ^^;; well, on a side not here, i managed to get myself a couple of anime's. "Slayer's Return." and "Vampire Hunter D, Bloodlust." I like them ^^, well, im gonna be makeing some changes to my site, hope they work out, laters all, take care. *hugs*

[color=olive]Back at the castel in Master's room[/color]
[color=indigo]"Yes, the demons are on retreat, shall we pursue them?"[/color]Master shook his head at the gaurd, a knocking came to Masters door as a gaurd walked in with Zero. [color=darkred]"Zero, come on in... seem's that the demon's retreat is thanks to you, as well as saveing Randous, nicely done, I see now Frank had found a most exceptional candidate."[/color] Zero smiled a bit embaresed and scratched the back of his head. [color=green]"I just did what anyone would've done."[/color] Master nodded and waved to a gaurd at the door, a few clerics walked in behind the gaurd. [color=darkred]"Zero, meet your student's whom you will teach your runoligy with."[/color] The cleric talked softly amongst themselves under their hooded robes. [color=indigo]"Runoligy Master... we are to learn such a thing?"[/color] Master nodded to the cleric, they all looked at Zero, still making small comotion. [color=darkred]"Yes, he is young but he carries some knowledge of such a craft, it is more then we know and we must take what all we can get."[/color] Zero looked at Master just remembering earlier in the armory as well. [color=green]"Master... about your weapons and armor, their in rather poor quality..."[/color] [color=darkred]"Yes... we havn't the best blacksmith's around but they work hard and put great effort into their work."[/color] [color=green]"Um... allow me to work with them as well, I'm sure can help to improve their talent by a great deal."[/color] Master looked at him considering as he placed his hand upon his chin in thought. [color=darkred]"That would be alot of work for you... we wouldn't need you to be over worked and waste away on us."[/color] [color=green]"Don't worry about me, I'm well fit and able to handel such a task, otherwise i wouldn't have asked."[/color] Master nodded in agreement. [color=darkred]"Then do as you see fit."[/color] Zero nodded walking out of the room with the clerics, Master sat back in his chair. [color=darkred]"Don't let us down Zero... you seem more valuable then first thought."[/color]

[color=olive]At the clerics chambers'[/color]
Zero stood their looking at them as they talked amoung themselves still, Zero pulled out and layed his dagger on a table, the clerics quieted looking on. [color=green]"So I'm to teach Runoligy hm... is there any runes around here?[/color] One cleric stepped forth with a shard of green rune and gave it to Zero, Zero looked at it and set it down. [color=green]"So... well this is fairly simple, if you know your runic symbols all will go nicely."[/color]The clerics looked at each other nervously, Zero stared at them and shook his head. [color=green]"This is gonna be a long... long day."[/color] He stood their and begam to go through the runic stmbols with them.

[color=olive]5 Hours later[/color]
Zero walked out of the room tiredly but shook it off, he headed on down to the black smiths area, entering it he was nearly swept bac by the heat, again he shook this off and walked in. [color=green]"I had forgoten how warm it get's in these places."[/color] He walked around obeserving everyone as a man stepped infront of him. [color=indigo]"This is a dangerous area to be in, you should leave."[/color] Zero looked at him. [color=green]"I have permision from Master to be here."[/color] [color=orange]"He wouldn't give you such permision..."[/color] Randous stood over near a smithing furnace pounding away on a peice of red hot steel, Zero walked over to him, the smith following him. [color=orange]"You wouldn't be allowed in here, not by Master, your of no smith trade."[/color] [color=green]"If you think so...do you know what your doing?"[/color] Zero watched him. [color=orange]"I come from a long history of fine black smiths, i know full well what im doing."[/color] [color=green]"... you know... i could use a fine sword, i think i know just what kind too."[/color] [color=orange]"You'll need Master's approval before you can make anything yourself, and you'll need to train in the smithing skills too."[/color] Zero smiled a bit and turned walking away, Randous glanced at him and pounded harder on the hot metal before sticking it back in the furnace.

Part 8

The demon general neared closer to Randous, he had little open to him in the way of options and with out his sword he felt a little helpless but still could fight. the Demon General stood before Randous with a big grin on his face as he took a mighty swing with his fist, Randous leapt back just in time to avoid it. [color=orange]"Just my luck... stuck fighting the leader, but who more worthy then I."[/color] Randous ran up quickly and struck the General in his side, the General hunched over a bit and glared.

[color=olive]Back in the castel[/color]
Zero and the gaurd raced down flight after flight of stairs, down hallways and through rooms, they stopped for a moment. [color=green]"Could this place have come with maps?"[/color] The gaurd looked around then pointed. [color=indigo]"There's the entrance."[/color]Zero looked over as they stood in the main hall before the main door, quickly they both rushed out and headed for the tunnel. As they approached they could see that it was a compleat mess, battle was wagging heavily and a couple of the demons quickly rushed toward them. Zero ran right up to them stricking both with his dagger in one swift cross slash, the demons fell over, as he looked around he noticed Randous fighting with the General.

[color=orange]Hey i thought you were tough, your nothing."[/color] Randous smirked getting in some more quick hits on the General, he was soon nocked to the ground though by a demmon that had snuck up on him from behind. [color=red]"Likewise runt."[/color] [color=darkblue]"Here you go."[/color] The general looked over as a couple demons carried over his axe, the General grinned as he took it up in his hand, Randous shook his head as he slowly looked up. [color=red]"NIGHTY NIGHT RUNT!"[/color] The General swung his axe toward Randous, Randous closed his eyes waiting for the blow, after a few second he began to open his eyes and look up curiosly in wonder as he wasnt struck yet. [color=green]"You ok?"[/color] The General stumbled back clutching his throat as he dropped his axejust next to Randous, Randous stared as Zero had saved his life, the General fell back dead. The fighting began to die down as the demons were soon retreating noticing the defeat of their General, Randous stood up staring at the General then Zero. [color=green]"Glad that's over... good to see your ok Randous."[/color]Zero smiled a bit putting his dagger away, Randous couldn't belive it, he owed thanks to someone, someone had saved his life, Randous turned away and began toward the castel. [color=orange]"...Thanks..."[/color]The word was spoken almost too quietly to hear and it stung his tongue as he spoke it, Zero noded and looked around at what now lay before him. Clerics were rushing about tending to the wounded, gaurds were slaying any surviving demon. [color=green]"... So this... this is the life i choose to lead now hm?"[/color]Zero looked on as he began toward the castel as well.

At the tunnel
"We must hold them off, come on! The gaurds rushed down the tunnel and suddenly as they entered were flung back onto the ground"You sappy humans..." The deoms walking out of the tunnel now, they themselves looked like humans but carried distinctive demon features about them, which were highly noticable. "So this is the under ground base, Lord Biyou will be pleased to hear of it's destruction." The demons began into a charge, the gaurds stood their ground as battle began to break out. "Filthy creatures, DIE!" Randous charged in quickly dropping any demon before him, Randous being amoung the top fighters in the clan it was fairly easy for him.

Back at the castel
"Hey... i think... did we make a wrong turn somewhere?" Zero looking around found himself amoung the castel bed chambers, the gaurd still with him looked around nervously."I... never really been in the casstel myself either, i mean i have but... i dont exactly know how to make it anywhere from here." Zero smiled a bit nervously, but hearing a distant cry ran over to a window, followed by the gaurd. "It's started... hey are our guy's gonna stand a chance, they look like their getting beat bad." "We have always done preaty well before... I am sure we can beat them, we are at home with this battle, we must win." Zero backed from the window and turned taking off running, the gaurd folllowed close to him.

Back at the fight
"Man, so many this time... they must want to end it for sure." Randous took a deep breath and continued to fight, the demons though had an upper hand being they were stronger then normal, and most having abilities to aid them in the fight did not boost well for the humans either. A demon weilding a huge axe appeared from out of the tunnel, he was the last demon to come through, he looked on with a smirk. "Pitiful, this will end in no time." He began toward the castel, his axe slung over his shoulder, he just swung his fist every now and then knocking gaurds out of the way. "Are you kidding?" Randous watched the Demon general knocking men around like they were dolls, Randous made up his mind and clentched his fist tight charging the demon general. The general was to busy to notice as Randous ran up swung hard, connecting with the demons jaw, the demon flew back dropping his axe and crushing a small band of demons."Great... that wasn't so hard..." Randous stared as the demon got back up though, shacking it's head and glaring at him. "Runt... you will suffer like no other."The demon stood up and began slowly toward Randous, focused soully on him, smacking guard and demon alike out of his way, Randous stared knowing he was in a bit of trrouble now.

Zerowalked with Frank and Master watching all the soldiers going about training and various other things, everything though came to a stop as Master walked in, everyone bowed to him.
[color=darkred]"Brothers, we have a new addition to our vast family, this young man here, has proven himself worthy enough to be one of us.[/color] Master stepped behind Zero, his arms held above him. [color=darkred]"This is Brother Zero, let us show him into the family with open arms and kindness."[/color] As Master was giving his speach a young man dressed in rather conceiling cloths ran up to him, he was exhausted and looked wounded. [color=indigo]"Master, forgive me but it is urgent."[/color] He dropped to one knee as Master and everyone looked at him. [color=indigo]The Oniguwa clan, we were ambushed by many members of the clan..."[/color] The young man grasped his side as he hunched over. [color=indigo]"Master it sems... there is a small force heading this way."[/color] A few clerics came over taking the young man away, Master looked down with his hand on his chin. [color=red]"Already their growing impatient... this will be the third time this week, their going to widdle away at us before we can stand a measurable chance."[/color] Zero looked at Frank and Master. [color=darkred]"Yes... those demon beings are stronger, no matter how much we do they always seem to crush us yet wen they have the chance run... we will have to stand up to them again, we must not let them win."[/color] [color=green]"Uh... Master?"[/color] Master looked at Zero. [color=green]"Should i start teaching the clerics now or..."[/color] [color=darkred]"No, we will need all the help we can get, you shall be out there fighting as well... i pray you will not die, these demon's are strong, they will be a great challenge, go to the armory and pick up supplies."[/color] Zero nodded and Master called over one of the gaurds to take Zero to the armory. [color=darkred]"As much as i hate to say... they may just end up getting in here this time..."[/color] Frank looked at master then off to a heavily gaurded tunnel.


[color=olive]At the Armory[/color]
[color=green]"Mmm... this stuff is... not much for my taste."[/color] [color=indigo]"This is all we have really... we haven't much skill around here cept fighting..."[/color] Zero looked over the armor and weapons, taking notice of small flaws and shoddy workmanship. [color=green]"I've got alot... to do here, this stuff is not good enough to fight demons with."[/color] Zero picked up a sword and swung it toward the ground, it made a dul clang sound and he lifted it looking at the blade, a small crack had developed in the middle of the blade. [color=green]"This stuff wouldn't last long at all... my rusty old dagger is better then all this, when i get back im talking to the black smith around her first before anything."[/color] The gaurd looked nervously at his sword for a moment and watched as Zero drew his dagger walking out, the gaurd followed him. [color=indigo]"You... you wouldn't happen to have another of those would you?"[/color] The gaurd asked nervously.

The four men travelled down the stairs, Master Gyon tapped Zero on the shoulder, he looked back at Master. [color=darkred]"Allow me to look at your dagger if you would please."[/color] Zero nodded a little and handed over the dagger. [color=orange]"Hmph..."[/color] Randous apperently still upset over the ordeal, Master examined the dagger looking every inch of it over cloesly and then looked to Zero handing it back. [color=darkred]"You did that yourself?"[/color] Zero nodded taking it back. [color=green]"From home, my father was a great enchanter... i guess i picked up a thing or two."[/color] He smiled a bit. [color=darkred]"Enchanting objects takes alot of focus and power, it's impresive that at your age you can do such a thing."[/color] Zero looked at him. [color=green]"You know how old i am?"[/color] [color=red]"Zero, he's not Master Gyon for nothing, not much can get past him, he is very wise and sharp minded."[/color] Zero chuckled a bit nervously. [color=green]"Good point..."[/color] Zero looked ahead of them as they now came to the bottom of the steps, two gaurds stood before a set of double doors, they bowed seeing Master Gyon and opened the door. Zero's eyes widened at the sight that lay before him, it was a huge underground facility, it was practicly a village under ground, rows upon rows of huts, a few markets and a large castel way in the back. [color=darkred]"It is a site to behold... welcome home Zero, we call this Obania village, named after our clan here."[/color]Zero stared all around watching everyone go on just like it was any other village, they headed back towards the castel. [color=darkred]"Everyone here is a part of the Obania clan, we're all family here, taking care of one another, helping each other. Zero... you are part of this family now, do not feel uneasy around others."[/color] Zero looked at Master Then to Randous, Master laughed a bit. [color=darkred]"Do not worry, he just has never had anyone of an equal standered to him, at least not of same age."[/color] Two men ran up to Randous, the otthers kept going as Randous stoped to chat, Master looked at Randous and nodded, Randous knew then he had a bit of leasure time. [color=indigo]"Randous howd it go, who come that guy is here?"[/color] Randous clentched his fist, then the other guy pointed out. [color=indigo]"Hey, wheres your katana, did you lose it?"[/color] [color=orange]"No i didn't lose it..."[/color] Randous held up the broken bits of his katana. [color=indigo]"What, your sword is broken, but how?!"[/color] Randous threw the peices down. [color=orange]"That punk can enchant things... i never stood a chance."[/color] The two looked at Randous then each other. [color=indigo]"Randous don't worry, we'll get you a new one, we'll mak..."[/color] [color=orange]"No... no one here is able to enchant object's, it's a lacking skill of our clan... i got to go."[/color] Randous said coldly and began toward the castel, the two watched him walk off, they never saw him like this before.

[color=olive]Back with the others[/color]
Frank, Zero and Master finally reached the castel, the gaurds bowed at Master's return as they entered, The castel reached way up to the ceiling just about, Zero stared impresed. [color=green]"Wow... I've never seen anything like this before... it's huge and... just..."[/color] Frank and Master laughed some at Zero. [color=darkred]"Zero... we would like to ask that you train our clerics in the art of rune's... we are lacking in this skill."[/color] Zero looked at Master and then looked straight ahead. [color=green]"... I haven't much knowledge on runeoligy... I know some stuff but not alot."[/color] [color=darkred]"Even the little bit you know will sufice, we know nothing of it and the knowledge of it's ways is becoming lost."[/color] Zero threw his arms behind his head thinking it over. [color=green]"... I guess so... we couldn't let something usefull become a lost way... but... can your clerics learn this, you know it is a tough task."[/color] Master nodded. [color=darkred]"I have faith in them."[/color] The three stopped in a door way of the castel, Zero looked on his hands droping down to his sides.

Randous stepped a little closer toward Zero and looked over at the hooded man and Frank, who both noded to him.[color=orange]"Right... guess i gotta."[/color] Randous craked his knuckles again and drew his sword, a fine looking katana, masterfully crafted. [color=orange]"Test time begins twerp, let's go!"[/color] Randous broke out into a charge toward Zero, the katana clutched tightly with both hands and pointed straight for Zero. [color=green]"Wait can't we do a quiz or something?!"[/color] Randous thrust the katana forward at Zero, who quickly jumped to the side, his shirt had been cut across the stomach area and Zero eyes widened. [color=green]"Your gonna hurt someone with that!"[/color] [color=orange] "Then dont get hit!"[/color] Randous swung sideways turning his whole body into it at Zero, Zero dropped down quickly just in time, he lept back staring in disbelief, he looked over at Frank who merley shruged. Zero sighed and drew out a dagger, a tad worn out looking and quite dull. [color=orange]"This is a first... someone can dodge my speed."[/color] The hooded man watched raising his hand to chin thinking, observing Zero closely. [color=indigo]"Frank... you said he could fight, so far all he does is run."[/color] Frank just shrugged again and they watched as Randous charged Zero again, his katana over his head. [color=orange]"Your a joke, that thing wont help you any!"[/color] Randous swung downward hard, A loud clang rang out through the whole forest and everyone stared as the dagger was holding off Randous's katana. Zero thrust upward knocking Randous back, he stared at him speachless as Zero just let out a small smile and pointed to the katana. Everyone looked at it and right before their eyes the katana craked, then shatered down the middle falling to peices, Randous's eyes widened. [color=orange]"THERE'S NO WAY!"[/color] Randous stared at his ruined blade then the worn out dagger. [color=green]"Sorry... i didn't think it would break, just chip it was all i wanted to do."[/color] The hooded figure noded looking to the dagger. [color=indigo]"I see... rune's have empowered it."[/color]Slowly he pulled his hood back and looked at Randous. [color=orange]"Rune's... Master this is..."[/color] [color=darkred]"I will let him in, I am Master Gyon, Zero we welcome you in."[/color] The hooded man was the Master watching the whole time, Randous looked at Master. [color=orange]"Master, we have not finished yet." [/color] [color=darkred]"Don't worry about it, i've seen enough... we shall let him in and he shall be Brother to us all, understood?"[/color] Randous nodded and walked back to the tree heading down the stairs, Frank followed as Master motined for Zero, Zero walked over and down Follwed by Master, the opening in the tree sealed behind them.

Long over due part 4, finally here ^^ i'd have posted earlier but mom was on the comp. yeah i know, im still using wrong code, i'll work on that later ^^;; for now, laters, take care *hugs*

[color=olive]Later that night[/color]
Zero accompinied by Frank walked down a long streach of road on the outskirts of the village, the path narrowing as they got further. [color=red]Zero... once in this place, you won't beable to turn us down, we'll have to kill you if you have second thoughts at that point."[/color] Zero just noded, they soon came to a tree stopping infront of it, Zero looked around puzzled as Frank went up to the tree and knocked on it.[color=green]"Um... is this rig..."[/color]Before he could finish an opening appeared in the tree and a hooded figure stepped out to greet Frank. [color=indigo]Frank, greetings... you bring guests?[/color]As he looked at Zero. [color=red]"No, not a guest, a new recruit... I've watched him for a while, he is a great fighter and...[/color]The hooded figure waved his hand and Frank stopped talking and backed up nodding, he understood. [color=indigo]"You know that just cause of bar room brawls he can not be properly assesed of his skill... let us see how Randous handels him."[/color] [color=red]"Randous, that is a little over the top isn't it?[/color] Frank seemed a little worried by the name mentioned, Zero scratched his head curiously. [color=indigo]"Times are getting tough Frank, we need the strongest of warriors we can find, that Oniguwa clan is steadly increasing..."[/color] Frank nodded and footsteps could be herd from the tree as a man stepped out, his hair short and spiked, the dull red color seemingly fadded as a single strand of hair lay infront of his left eye. His dark purple eyes examined Zero carefully. [color=orange]"You called?" [/color] He seemed to have an arrogence about him and the hooded figure pointd to Zero, Randous noded and cracked his knuckles. [color=orange]"Good... i hope this will be challenging."[/color]Zero stood there staring blankly and confused.
