   Metaphors Spin Easily
metaphors spin easily
from the mouths of those who see
life is nothing but
a dream from which you can not
awaken
no matter how hard you're shaken-
from the mouths of those who've had
everything taken and
held onto for ransom
without the chance
to
ever
get
it
back...

metaphors spin easily
from the mouths of those who understand
how the pain of an entire year
can amount to just one tear-
afraid to let a single soul near
in fear that on one inevitable day
they'll be washed away by a flood
of emotion
with the fury of an ocean
without the chance
to
ever
get
them
back...

metaphors spin easily
from the mouths of those who believe
that with achievement comes grief
and all the "things" we grip to our
chest and do our best to not
let them slip and fall to the ground
are greased with uneased stress
and will fall and shatter no matter
how tight your grasp
without the chance
to
ever
get
them
back...

metaphors spin easily
from the mouths of those Dark Poets
and philosophical prophets who
while not false
their faces are shrouded by phrases
of wisdom and an unexpected feeling
of belonging to a part of something
bigger than themselves-
from the mouths of those who
spill their souls
in hopes that the holes of their stories
will fill themselves in
and they can begin
to move on past this
sense of falling from the grace
of something bigger than themselves
leaving that feeling
of belonging behind
without the chance
to
ever
get
it
back...

Living Energy/ Spirituality
Am I a "spiritual" person? I guess it depends on your definition of spiritual.

If by spiritual you mean religious then no, I am not. There is no divine force behind any of my actions. I do everything I do for myself or loved ones around me. Mostly for myself but whatever, I do it. I don?t do it for any deity or reason other than its what I think I should do at the time. I believe in, worship, follow and renown no one and no thing.

If however, spirituality means to you having any connection with the metaphysical, then yes I am spiritual. I feel and see and sometimes know things that are difficult to communicate to my fellow humans. Things that I can not physically prove, but I have my theories, for example the afterlife.

I have experienced so much already in my short time on earth. Some of those things were VERY spiritual in nature. I think that human?s are not the only beings on this planet with souls and feelings. I think every living cell that exists on this planet is a part of a soul. Living energy. I think not as species? of this planet (human vs. canine or otherwise) do we exist but as souls. A planet of souls. A planet of spirits. Now let me stretch your mind here. A solar system, a galaxy, a universe of living energy.

We are living energies possessing some physical form or another. I do not think that we as a soul, the energy inside, ever truly "die". I think that our energies can not only affect but control the physical natural occurrences in the world such as minerals, gases, and liquids. As separate energies we have been doing so to this earth for millions and millions of years. Every since the first living cell organism appeared on this earth. I think with practice over the millenniums we have evolved as energy and are capable of manifesting and manipulating such advanced "life" as a humans or sharks and such simple life as plants.

However, I think that as energy possessing the natural we can only "use" the physical world for so long at a time. Then our bodies, our forms, wear out or we don?t take care of them or something happens and we as living beings experience "death". In death I personally believe that we simply return to the universal energy. We may come back here or go elsewhere in the cosmos first. Sometimes a soul does not return to the universal melting pot and it stays on earth as living energy in true form. We call those spirits or ghosts. Living energy can not always be seen by the naked eye and I think that when it can be seen it is for a reason. That spirit, that soul, for some reason can not find it?s way back. It is possible that the spirit became so attached to the physical that in death it forgot that it had to return anywhere. Or it feels it can not return until it resolves some issue.

I think that as we have "life" experiences through out the universe we meet and love or hate other "souls". I think we learn despite ourselves and continue to grow as one energy universally. When we "die" we take our experience with us. But we either choose not to bring memory with us or we have not figured out how yet. Maybe some specie has and humans just do not know it yet.

it's true
Stop being so hard on yourselves. I know way too many really beautiful girls who think they don't look good... It hurts... becaues it's our fault, guys I mean. We make girls feel like they have to be perfect. You know what I mean, flat stomach, huge boobs, round ass, long legs, big lips, and on top of all that, they have to dress like a whore, and be one as well... nobody can measure up to that... and its not fair... because nobody should have to. The little imperfections are what make people special. If everyone was perfect the world would be so boring, variety is what makes life interesting. So guys, stop making girls have to live up to your, I'm sorry, our... deluded fantasy visions of perfection. Stop acting like boys and start being men... realize that women don't exist to fufill our sexual desires. Stop talking to them solely to get with them, be nice to them because you want to be their friend, not because you want to hook up with them. Say nice things about them not to flatter them in hopes that you'll get some, but because you know they like to hear them. In short... we need to grow up and stop being dicks... just because we have them doesn't mean we need to think with them.

Perfect Flaws
Like a doll with a single eye,
Worn and rough from too much love,
I relish the prospect of so much to fix,
Your warm embrace, as we sew back the other.

The way you laugh at the wrong time,
Beautifully broken, yet shy and outspoken,
Cracks that add pathways into your smile,
I like the photos you don't know I have.

Oh last lonely silver petal,
To crush so sweet beneath my feet,
Hear the silence in your feigned regret,
A need to be half-wilted.

Dirty luminescence, tingling,
Yawnful desire to never truly acquire,
Such beating hearts against your chest,
How I wish for me, only you could cry.

Seeing brushstrokes behind paintings,
Misunderstand why you're misunderstood,
Adoring contours of your drooping face,
I now see...It's for your perfect flaws.

When Losing poems.....
When losing poems I have wrote,
I calmly contemplate,
The beauty in the lines,
Of things which we create.
That coil themselves around,
A weak or broken heart,
Then find their shelter for a while,
And never quite depart.

But I find it quite unnerving,
When phrases that I use,
Seem to fit completely,
Into someone else’s views.
Maybe there’s no hidden truth,
In saying “I love you”,
But either way it goes to show,
We haven’t got a clue.
