   *sob*
I was very sad yesterday to have found out... my watch died.

Yesterday was going so great to. It was a really good day, until Wal*Mart. I went to Wal*Mart because I was running low on shampoo and conditionar. I decided that I would pick up a cheap 94cent valentine card to send home on the 14th because I know my mom and dad like when I do silly things like that for them. After trying to pick out a cheap card that didn't look TOO cheap I went to check my watch to see when the bus would be getting there. Second hand wasn't moving.

I thought that was really knifty! Seeing how if the battery had to die it was nice that it died in Wal*Mart where I could easily have the battery replaced. So I did, I smiled when the ticking came back and headed back to look at cards again because I had lots of time left. When I finally picked one out I went to see how much time was left...

funny, my second hand wasn't working again.

*sob* Means my watch is dead, or the people behind the counter won't admit they gave me a bad battery. It's probably my watch, I've had it since forever. I love my watch. It was a birthday gift from my sister and I've worn it everyday since getting it.

Depressed that my watch is gone I looked over some watches I could afford in Wal*Mart. When did all the watches start becoming crap? They were all hot pink, or had stupid butterflies on it, or the dails were so small I had to squit to see what time it is. >_< Blah.

Although it's funny that my watch would die on me now. Seeing how during break I had been half seriously looking at watches. Not that I wanted to get a new one, just wondering which I would pick if should the ill-fated day that my watch no longer worked.

Anyone got a store suggestion that sells nice cheap watches?

And I've decided I'm going to keep wearing my watch to class and such even though it doesn't work. I just feel so naked without it. I really miss the ticking noise it made. I use to listen to it tick all the time in class. Keeps me calm. *sighs*
