   The Trip!
Back from the trip! I had a blast! Although the trip started off on the wrong foot.

First my aunt got stuck in traffic for an hour on her way to get me. That did give me time to take the dogs on a run out in the feild before I left. I stepped in three holes while running, but managed to stay on top of my feet. Now, in a jog, heading back to the house, on flat ground... I ended up stepping on my ankle instead of the bottom of my foot. Twisted my ankel and came into the house limping. It wasn't a bad twist and by the time my anut and I finally got together and were on the road for a bit it felt better.

My aunt and I BLASTED the music!! It was so much fun! Then Debbie was SO nice and her house was SO BIG!!! Out in the deep woods and she and her husband owns 44 acers of land!! It was SO pretty!! Her three kids were so CUTE! They went to bed with daddy and Debbie, my aunt Varsi and I stayed up to drink so gin and tonic. I didn't care for the taste so my aunt had mine.

When it came to be 2am we went to bed, but Debbie's kids were up at random times in the night crying. None of us really got any sleep. Oh well, they had this really sweet kitty who slept next to me and remind me of my own cat. He kept my company during the night.

In the morning we headed to Plattsburg. We decided to eat out and not have to worry about any dishes and such. Only bad thing about that plan was we had to drive an hour before we could find a nice little dinner because Varsi didn't want fast food. None of really did. We did find this cute little dinner and it had good food.

After we ate Aunt Varsi decided that we need something else besides gin and tonic because she gets too drunk with gin. So we went to a Price Chopper and they got a six pack of Bud Light. Varsi wanted to make sure I had some drink I would like and I didn't think I would like Budwiser so she bought she and Debbie picked out their favorite flavors of wine coolars and got them. Wild Berry and Blue Hawiain something... "Your mom is going to kill me, but we need to get you drunk!" My aunt joked handing me the wine coolers to hang onto.

We walked around with our drinks looking for a foam coolar to keep them in. We couldn't find any and stopped a guy working there to see if he knew where they were. He got a look at the items in our arms and grinned at us. He said they didn't have them anymore. So we bought the drinks and ice and decided to drop the beers off at the car and go look in the dollar store. Thus began the great foam coolar seach! We to the Dollar Store, a liqure store, then finally someone told us they saw that Ecards had them on sale (Wow... I much be really tried... my spelling is AWFUL!) so we went there. Sure enough! They did. It had a little beach scene of the front. Varsi picked one up but as she did it.. that handel broke! So she picked up another and a corner of the starafoam...er... foam broke when she moved the handle. Finally we picked one up that didn't break.

After getting the beer in place we were back on the road!!! We got to the hotel about 1-ish. Too bad we weren't allowed to check in until 3pm. However... we noticed that across the road at the Holiday Inn was a blue tour bus. We thought it was the band. "Let's stalk them!" I said... MOSTLY as a joke. They agreed and we pulled into the Holiday Inn parking lot and parked where we got a good look at the bus. Debbie ran inside to use the bathroom and to see if she could see any of the bad members. (Even though she's never really heard of the band and wouldn't know if she some one of the members or not) We left afterwards to head to the fair.

Walked around the fair, checking things out, making sure we knew where the concert was going to be and such. I really wanted a Hoobastank T-shirt to bring back with me and there was only one store selling them. Only 15 bucks which considering we were at a fair was really good. At Hot Topic a new shirt would cost 18. Then while looking at the shirts I saw a Linkin Park cigatte holder. ^_^ Bought that too! Couldn't help myself. I frown at smoking. I see it as one of the worst and disgusting habits ever, but I just LOVED the case. I'm a Linkin Park addict. While the lady got out the T-shirt size I needed I looked at Jewlery. My god I loved this shop. It had cheap stearling steal celtic rings! The fidget rings that have a part that spins! I've always wanted one, but they've always been to expensive. Costing over 30 dollars at some places I've found them. This one, only 6 dollars! *squeal* My aunt and Debbie ended up getting 2 dollar mood rings and giggling over them. They later decided that I had to get one so we could all match and I bought one right before the concert. My new Linkin Park cigarette holder makes a handy ring holder.

Varsi wanted to play a game after we looked over all the stalls. The fair was basically the same one as we had at the city near me. Same rides, same game, same company, so I knew most of the games and all of the rides. (Only disapointment, no one would ride any rides with me so I didn't ride any) She saw one a little ways down and said: "Look, there's a game where you could win a fish. I'd bet we'd kill it." I told her that you could also win a hermit crab or a lizard there too. She got excited and wanted to check it out.

She was so funny. She hagled with the man running the stall to let her pick any pet she wanted. The bowls you thre the ball in were labled: Fish, Crab, Lizard you got the animal the ball landed in. Then he was even nice enough to give her extra balls. Good thing... because she really sucked at it. He stopped her after a few tries and gave her some pointers. Her next throw after the pointers, she got it! She won a new pet. She had been thinking about getting a lizard, but Debbie and I talked her out of that. Lizards are hard work to take care of and she's planning on giving it to her two little boys the ages of 3 and 6. So she went with a crab because there was NO way a fish would live with us. The man helped up pick out a good sized, and healthy, crab. He was so nice!!

So after we had the crab we made our way back to the hotel. Peeking at the tour bus as we went by. As we pulled into the parking lot we had two problems: The Comfort Inn didn't want you to bring in beer or pets. Opps. So the crab got put in my pillow case and we made sure the extra beer that didn't fit in the coolar were hidden. We even managed to carry everything in on one trip. We had started off with a non-smoking room, because I hate the smell of smoke, but Aunt Varsi wanted to smoke and asked if it would be alright if we moved. *sigh* It was her trip too so we all agreed to move. Packed everything up and headed back downstairs. In the end the smoking room was better. The air conditioner and fridge was newer and not broken. Plus we weren't in the hotel too long so the smoke didn't really bother me.

Once we got settled Varsi wanted to crack open the beers so we did so. Debbie and her had 3 buds each and I had a couple wine coolers. We waited about 2 and a half hours before we decided we'd better get back to the fair and get in line.

We headed out of the parking lot and couldn't help ourselves, we went back over to spy on the tour bus. Varsi felt stupid parking again and didn't want to look like a stalker so she told Debbie to go into the hotel and pretend to use the bathroom. Debbie and I couldn't stop laughing at how embarrased she was. "I'll just go and knock on the bus and ask them if I can use their bathroom."

"DON'T YOU DARE!"

"I'm sure they get plenty of people who knock!"

"You do that and I'm leaving you!"

In the end Debbie really had to pee so she ran inside to use the bathroom. When she came back out she mentioned there was a bar inside and the two of them decided that they wanted one more beer before heading over.

Inside we got talking to the waiter who wanted to know if I wanted what my aunt and Debbie were having. I said no but was really happy she thought I was at lest 21. I of course didn't tell her I was 19 ^^;; I like people thinking I'm older instead of 12.

The waiter was a really nice girl. We helped her think of a drink specail to offer and as she was writing it on the board Debbie leaned over to Varsi and said:

Debbie: I'm going to ask her who's bus that is out there
Varsi: DON'T! Besides they're not allowed to tell you!
Debbie: But we're allowed to ask, she dosen't have to answer.
Varsi: If you do I'm going to kill you!
Debbie: I'm going to ask her
Varsi: Debbie, I swear if you ask I'll lea-
Zig-zag: So, who's bus is that out there?
Varsi: ZIG-ZAG! I'm going to kill you!

The waiter thought it was really funny. "Who do you think it is?"

"Hoobastank!!!"

"That's what my friend who works here wished. She kept saying how they were going to stay here, but they stay on their bus and that's not them. It's Blake Sheldan."

Opps. We've been stalking a country singer. Oh well, Debbie and I both like contry!

After the beers had been finished we headed over to the fair. Went to get in line and saw that they were on stage warming up!! Watched them warm up before getting in line. They were singing Let it Out and Varsi was getting really excited!!

Stood in line for an hour before they let us in. Varsi kept scaring Debbie by saying once we were in there we wouldn't be able to pee because we would lose our spots and get sperated from each other. That just made Debbie have to pee more and more.

Got in by 7 and we had standing tickets so we ran right up to the front row! I took that spot by that gate and would not move. We were just about in the center, we had such good seats!!!! Waited for another hour and fifteen minutes for the band to finally come out. IT WAS SO COOL!!! We were so close! It was us, the gate, the bouncers, and the band. They were amazing! They interacted with the audince which was really nice. One girl brought a sign that said: Sing The Reason For My MOM!!! And when they started to sing the corus they pointed right at the mom.

We were surpised by how small the concert was. We decided there couldn't have been more than 700 people there. It made it nice for use because we had room to move and such, but that means the band didn't get as much money. At one point this father was trying to get his little girl closer, she couldn't have been older than 7 so I let her up in front of me. She was so cute, she could barely look over the gate.

It was more or less a good crowd. We only had one problem when this group of jerks came near the end of the show and tried to start a mash pit. It really wasn't the place for one and one of their group got hurt I guess and started crying. One of the bouncers picked her up over the gate and carried her off. After that they settled down.

What was one of the coolest things about the concert was it was their first stop in a tour of county fairs and they played 3 NEW songs off their new CD coming out around Chirstmas!! For the first time in public!! Ack!! MUST GET THAT CD!!!

When they were done singing they threw things into the croud. Like water bottles, a sweaty towel, and guitar picks. I almost got a pick as it hit my forehead and bonced off me... too bad someone caught it as it bounced off my head. The group that had been rude was walking around looking for dropped picks and Debbie was playing around with Varsi and I and pretended to stomp her foot down on a pick and dragged it over to herself. "Did you get one!" Varsi asked excited and Debbie just smiled and said Gotcha! But a girl from that group had saw and came running over:

Girl: I'll trade you a water bottle for that!
Debbie: Yeah right, that's not a fair trade.
Girl: Ah come on! Please!
Debbie: No! Besides I don't have one, and even if I did I wouldn't give it to you because you're obnxious!

The girl snorted at us and stalked back over to her friends: "That lady is being such a bitch and she's old enough to be my mom!" We left them giggling, pulling Debbie away from them before she could do something she would regret.

All and all it was a great concert and Varsi and I decided if we ever get the chance to see them again we would. I even managed to take a couple pictures! Cameras weren't allowed inside and Varsi ended up having to throw both of her cameras away in the trash. I snuck mine in my pocket and during the concert sliped it to my aunt who snapped a couple pictures before the bouncers started starring at us and making us nervous.

Also the bass player wasn't there. They didn't say anything about it not being him, but the replacement they had was really good and really cute. ^_^

After the concert we hung around the fair and had a little something to eat. Then we played some games. I played a ring toss game twice to win my sister a little flamingo toy because that's the phase she's going through right now. Debbie won three flowers for her girls and then I played one more game. The age guessing game. I almost always win at it. The lady wrote down her guess and I told her. I won and she showed me what she had guessed. 22!! She thought I was 22 and not 12! *beams* I'm sure it's mostly because I was hanging out with my aunt and her friend, but still!!! That's twice people had thought I was older than twenty!!! *Happy sigh*

We left the fair shortly after. We didn't have any portable CD players with us so my Aunt stopped at another Price Chopper to pick up another case of Bud and a CD/Radio/Tape player. Took everything back with us and sat up drinking and listening to music til one in the morning.

In the morning we all got up and took showers. We let the crab which Debbie had named Hooby run around the hotel. We packed up and managed to carry everything out of the hotel in one trip again. We stopped at Price Chopper with the CD player that we had carefully unpacked and repacked and returned it. Hehe. Drove to Dunkin Doughnuts and got bagels.

We drove Debbie back home and Varsi and I got on the road again. We drove away and... got lost. We didn't get too lost, just missed one turn that led us to the middle of nowhere. Got turned around and got back on track.

Got home around 4pm. I have made a new die-hard Breaking Benjamin fan out of my aunt. ^_^ It was such a fun trip and I brought three wine coolers home with me. Hehe, Casey's mouth dropped when she saw me walking in with those.

Now my aunt and I are thinking about getting tickets for Breaking Benjamin and Three Doors Down when they play at Six Flags. I'll be in college by then and we'll live closer to each other. It should prove to be fun if we do go.
