   Autumn, Sales, and Drive Inns
Autumn came over Friday night. Casey, her, and I stayed up until about 12am even though we had to get up really early to go to the yard sale days with my mom the next day. Every summer the towns each have their own weekend where EVERYONE has a sale in that area. It's huge! And a lot of fun. I wanted to go to bed a little ealier but oh well. So we went to bed deciding to skip breakfast in the morning and waking up at the last possible second. 6am. Not if my cat had anything to do about it! She woke Autumn and I up a couple times by throwing up. Which means I scramble out of bed with an old newspaper, placed by my bed for such occasions, and trying to catch it before it winds up on my floor. Luckily I cought it. Tried to go back to bed but the cat wasn't done with us yet. She decided to meow, scrach, and walk on us til we got up and fed her. Once she left my room thinking I was getting up to fed her... not a chance. I shut her out of the room. Tried to go back to sleep, but felt too gulity for not feeding her. Got up and fed her. Autumn and I were too wide awake to go back to sleep so we stayed up and ate breakfast.

We didn't have to wait too long before everyone else was ready to go. We all jumped into the car and speed off. Mom bought a lot of junk that she says are antiques and that she's planning on selling down at the shop. She even bought this nice violin for $50. I didn't buy anything until we got to this one guys sale. BOOKS! HE HAD SO MANY GOOD BOOKS! Mostly Steven King! I LOVE STEVEN KING!! I was so excited! I quickly picked up 'It' by Steven King and asked how much the paper back books were. I couldn't believe it when he said ten cents!!!! Grabbed a BUNCH! But I know I don't normally have time to read anymore. *sniff* I decided to limit myself to three books. Trying to decided which to take I decided to take my first pick of 'It' I had trouble putting a few other great titles down and finally decided on 'Dreamcatcher' and 'Christine' all by Steven King. As I was sadly putting the other books back I couldn't believe what I saw!!! MISERY!!!! MISERY BY STEVEN KING!!! It was sitting right there! WAITING FOR ME!!! MINE! *snatch*

Misery is about a women named Annie Wilkes. She's Paul Sheldon's number one fan. Paul Sheldon is a writer who wrote a series about a girl named Misery. Poor Paul gets in a car wreak and is saved by Annie. His legs are shattered into a million pieces and instead of taking Paul to the doctors Annie takes him to her house, that's when the terrible fun starts! Annie wants Paul to write his greatest work - just for her. She keeps him prisoner in many fun ways.

I should have changed my mind and gotten more than three books. THEY WERE ONLY TEN CENTS! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!!! But I sadly put 'Christine' back for Misery. I wasn't leaving that sale without MY Misery book!! I loved this guy's sale! He had cheap casettes too! I bought an Ace of Base and Queen's greatest hits. I even bought a CD, it was only the Lion King soundtrack. I can't help it. I love that music! Oh! Another cool thing I got was this letter opening in the shape of the sword Excalibur!! It's pointy! *pokes Casey with it*

When I went to check out the guy smiled at me. "Steven King fan I see." I nodded and he asked which book of his was my favorite. I told him it was The Stand, however, I pointed to Misery and said that would most likey replace it. He laughed and rung me up. It came to about 3.20 or so. I started to fish around for some dimes when he smile. "Three even will be enough for a King fan!" ^_^ Aw! So I gave him the three and started reading Misery right then and there. WHY DIDN'T I GET MORE BOOKS!!!

Only bought three more things after that. Disney's Robin Hood, a printer to take to college, and the Americana CD by The Offspring. I'm only 47 pages into Misery but it's already beat The Stand as my favorite. I LOVE IT!! SO COOL! I LOVE STEVEN KING! Come on... how could I not like a book that reminds me of a mini personality of mine locked away inside me? I could see myself as either Paul or Annie. Before people get too scared of me. I could never ACTUALLY do anything Annie does.

One weird thing Autumn and I noticed was that nearly every sale was selling a really small TV sets. There was this one sale and someone was selling all of their Taekwondo stuff. Not karate or any other type... Taekwondo. Wa! Can't the world stop reminding me already!!! Then at another sale this guy was selling a really good large kicking target for only 10 bucks! I wanted to get it but I have no place to put it so I didn't get it. It just made me miss Taekwondo all over again.

By the end of the sales my back was really killing me. I figured it was the lack of sleep. My back gets sore if I don't get enough sleep. So I went home and took an hour nap. Hung out with Autumn and Casey. Dropped Autumn off at home as we went to church. Then went to the drive inns with Mom, Sister, and sister's friend Sara. We saw Madagasta and Monster in Law. They were alright. Although I would have rather seen The Longest Yard and House of Wax playing on the other screen. (POSSIBLE SPOILER FOR HOUSE OF WAX) ^_^ I know Parris Hilton dies in it. I want to see that.

Well during the second film, Monster in Law, I decided to go to the bathroom. God I hate the rest rooms there. I got there just as a family of little girls got there. The took all the WORKING tolites. I waited for them to get done. First one that got done I went in and found there was no more toliet paper. -_- Glad I checked! Waited for the next and could have thrown up when I got in there. There was pee on the seat... YUCK! Finally! The third one was pee free and had toliet paper. *sigh* I hate that bathroom.

By the time the movies were over and we got home I was dead tired. I had planned on getting online and watching what I taped of Adult Swim, but I was just too tired. Fell into bed and was instantly asleep. It was a great day yesterday.
