Blegh, Another Sunday Come And Gone...
Geez, I can't believe it's Sunday again already. It feels like... I dunno, Thursday. In any case, it's almost five o'clock and I'm in an odd mood. I was looking forward to going to Borders today to buy/look at some books. Mom was going to take me yesterday, but she decided at the last minute she'd 'take me tomorrow'. So here it is, tomorrow, and she's going to take me tomorrow. Again. I realize she's tired, but still, it's a little irritating when someone tells you they're going to do something and then they don't.

Yesterday, btw, shortly after I posted, mom decided to go shopping and I tagged along out of boredom. I got a new cd and a set of prety gold earrings. I needed new earrings because I had my ears peirced again at Christmas, making a total of three holes in each ear. However, my ears are sensitive and were reacting badly to the cheap earrings I was wearing. Finally realizing this, I went looking for the titanium studs I originally had when they were first pierced (for anyone who's never had their ears pierced, you get a set of hypoallergenic studs that the people who pierce put in right after they STAB YOU), only to find that I'd lost them. Off to the store we go.

We also got a crapload of new dvds, but I can't remember most of them and don't feel like looking.

And... that's it. Oh! I'm finally cleaning my room. Be afraid.

   W00t!
Thank God for TiVo! I recorded Vampire Hunter D (The first one) on it and then transferred it to tape! Too bad you can't transfer it to DVD yet, that would be so much better....

Also! FINALLY finished making my Quizilla quiz. However, I need help finding pictures for the results, and so if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment or sign the guestbook and put it there. Until then, y'all are going to have to make do with words.

   First Moday of Vacation?
I don't think so.

For those of you who don't know, I usually find it difficult to stay in a good mood around my mother when she isn't in a good mood. So, since this is Memorial day and my mom is home with me and in a fairly ugly mood, this morning was hell. If you don't believe me, know this; I was woken up at eight in the morning and then made to clean the kitchen.

It took me three hours.

Anyway, after spending the weekend at Rachel's house, I came home with a new mix cd she burned for me. Our cd burner's retarded at the moment, so I couldn't do it myself. Plus, she introduced me to a new band called 'A Perfect Circle' that I like. I now want the cd, but it's not like I'm ever going to get it. I have no access to money and no way of making any outside of my home. The money I can make at home must be earned through doing chores, and even if I do those chores, if I don't do them with a smile I get nothing.

So, yeah, I'm never getting that cd.

Ever.

   Finally....
The week is over! I don't technically have to go to school tomorrow, but I'm spending the night at my best friend Rachel's house and so we figured we'd meet up at school, grab one of the yearbooks that they will be selling there, and head right back to Rachel's house.

As usual, my mom and I did the pre-privilege tango, in which she says it's okay if I do something, and then, later on, if I fail to do every little thing she tells me to while smiling, she says I can't go. This time, however, I did get to go, but it's the principle of the matter...

   Yes!
You know it's going to be a good day when you wake up and go in search of pants, only to pick a clean-ish pair with money in the pockets.

And that is how today started. 'Course, I already knew it was going to be a good day, simply because this is finals week (Schooooooool's out for summer!) and my best classes (Latin and Economics) were the finals for today. Latin was so amazingly easy that I don't doubt I aced it, and Economics is mostly vocabulary and opinion, so that's no problemo.

Tomorrow is the last day of school! Whooooo Hooo!

   Stupid Ortho....
Yup, had to go to the orthodontist today to get my braces tightened. And although this would normally be sucky enough, it was even more so because I broke off one of my brackets and had to get it glued back on. It took an extra half hour of sitting around waiting for the glue to dry... foo.

On a more positive note, after it was over, we went out for sushi at Ichi Ban. The stuff was unusually fresh (fresh sushi is hard to get in Arizona) and the restaurant was nearly empty, ie quiet.

Not looking forward to this coming week, because although it is the last week of school, it's also finals week. Four solid days of nothing but tests. Bleagh.

   *blink*
Well, suffice to say this is the first post since the opening of this particular corner of the myOtaku website, which happened about.... five minutes ago. Blah. Not much to say other than that. Perhaps a short description of myself? Hmn?

My name is Zhana. You may call me Zhana.

Or Z'ana.

Or Xena.

But most people just call me Z. Partly because no one else has a 'Z' name, and partly because they're too lazy to type four extra letters....

Current Obsessions:

Recently, I've rediscovered my fascination with mythology, specifically Aztec and Irish. I'm also having a slight nervous breakdown concerning my characters and the story that I'm trying to write using them. After going to the Highland Games and seeing all of the Scottish guys, I have come to appreciate men in skirts and Celtic knots. I’ve been very busy with school lately, having to write up all of these stupid reports and essays… grrr. And, last but not least, I’m still raving over the newest Green Day and Keane cds, even a month after getting them...

Things That Z Feels Like Randomly Blurting Out:

Huitzilopoctli! Yay! *huggles Aztec War God* And... Remus Lupin! And Sirius Black! And Sesshoumaru! And a few other things... like Prismacolor Pencils and the Typo Demon, and how awful it is when you accidentally breathe in Pixie Stick Candy. And yay for all my Aussie friends! As insane as they all are. Especially Jake. And yay for Rachel! And Rip! And Jade! And... and... and... Aiden as a pirate?

FEAR THE CENTAUR QUEEN!
