Mother Where Are You? by: Zano

Mother, Where Are You?
I've searched everywhere.
I flew past vigorous towns,
Lit up bustling cities,
And stormed through long highways,
But my path leads nowhere you.

Mother, Where Are You?
I've crossed vast oceans,
Pierced the mountain air,
And scorched the sands of the infinite desert,
But still no sign of you.

Mother, Where Are You?
I grew mad looking for you.
I tore up cities with my mighty wind,
Flooded them with torrential waters,
And burned them to cinders with my volcanic magma
When all was finished, no one was standing.

Mother, Where Are You?
I've searched the whole world for you,
But I do not know where you are.
I destroyed civilization wherever it stood,
I devastated the disobedient,
I devoured mankind's creations,
And there still was no answer.

Mother, Where Are You?
I've given up mother.
I cannot find you.
There's nowhere to look,
Nowhere to hide,
And nowhere to run.
Where can you be mother?

Mother, Where Are you?
There's one place left,
The place which I have not looked,
The palace of the indestructible heavens,
The place where I know you will be,
And there you are, Mother.
Controlling me like a puppet of destruction,
The puppet which I'm glad to be.
