A Tragic Day
Okay, guys. I have some really bad news at home right now. Remember those two, cute little Rat Terrier puppies I told you about in 2007? Well, the oldest one I named Rufus got sick. Really sick and weak. I came home from school today and I found Rufus in really bad shape. He couldn't move (he tried to walk, but couldn't) and he was shaking, almost like he had the hiccups. I'm not a certified veterinarian, but I knew there was something wrong with him. He wouldn't drink, nor eat. He wouldn't even lick my hand when I put it out in front of him.
He was also thin, too..
I blame this entirely on me, because of my selfish actions and such. I'm broke and I have no transportation to take Rufus to the animal hospital. I told my mom, and she said there was nothing she could do, but at least keep him warm. I even tried to convince my neighbor to help me. I don't know what I should do.
I think Rufus may have passed on already.... :( :cry:
I'm afraid to go outside and check on him, afraid to find him...well, you know...
If anyone can tell me what his condition is, I would really like to know.
