Working Hard
People are always asking us what we want to be,
that we can achieve anything
we set our minds to,
the sky is the limit.
What if someone just wants to be average?
What if I just want to help other people be great
and achieve their dreams?
I don't think my mom quite gets that.
Her response was to pray about it
and think and work hard.

Well, I'm working hard.
I've got two BYU classes which are
11 Sections- 40+ pages each.
As well as a really big US Government packet
to have finished by the 28th.
Sometimes I doubt myself,
but for some reason, whenever I do,
there is always someone around to ask me
how I'm doing and to then cheer me on.
I'm grateful for those people,
because i don't have that much faith in myself.

********************Young Women's Experience******************

My youth leader taught an interesting lesson the other day.
She talked about the priesthood,
which isn't something that we talk about often-
being young women and all.
She said that having the priesthood and having
the ability to bless people and have that impact in their
lives made worthy young men very happy.
'It makes them happy.'
I'd never thought of it that way.
Then she mentioned modesty and how it's important
that we help them as
much as we can to not think impure thoughts
and all that sunday school stuff.

But that has stuck with me this week.
I'm making someone happy just by picking the clothes I do.
For someone like me,
who can't find enough ways to make people happy-
that's really awesome and important.
^_^ kinda cool.
So I did a poll among my 2 guy friends
that are worthy to have the priesthood,
and they confirmed that it does indeed make them happy
to have that priesthood.
It's nice to know that obeying the rules has perks.

**********************All Done*************************

Oh yeah,
I'm reading Twighlight.
I've read the second book and figured
it's probably a good idea to figure out where this
all started and how.
I'm not a huge person on romance
and I think if I get bored,
or when I get time-
I'll read the book that Kida is reading,
The Giver
or a book that I recently saw advertised
and have had many recommendations for-
Atlas Shrugged.
Apparently it's very profound.
Any suggestions?
