Shima Uta!!!

Well....no Eragon for me this weekend. My step-dad was in the ER most of yesterday. That's when we planned on going. They don't think it's anything too serious. At least not at this point. I just really wish he'd quit smoking already. -_-

But actually it's kind of a good thing I didn't get to go. I mean...it's not good that he had to be in the hospital, but I'm a bit glad we didn't go to the movies this weekend. None of my friends could go. So I'm hoping one of them will be able to next weekend at least. Sure it's the weekend before Christmas...but who cares?! XD *sigh* Yeah. I really hope I'll get to have someone come.

Anyway, I have a history project to do. A five to seven page paper to write for Wednesday and a presentation to do in January. I'm not even sure when in January it is anymore. >.<;; We had to pick a country. Of course I picked Japan. Haha! And I'm trying to find a good song in Japanese that has to do with Japan to play on the day of my presentation. One where they're actually singing about Japan. Does anybody know of one? I'm listening to Shima Uta right now. The one with Gackt. I was thinking of using that, but now I'm starting to think it doesn't have enough to do with it. Here's the video:

I remembered it was an Okinawan song. I found the lyrics/translation here. I'm not sure if I should use it though. I really like the song, but it doesn't really have anything to do with Japan. :P So if you think of a different song...please tell me about it! It will be muchly appreciated! :D

To be honest with you, I don't really have anything else to talk about. I'm glad Christmas break is almost here. A chance to be away from school. Why wouldn't I be glad about that? XD

Just to be random:
I love green tea. Green tea ice cream. Green tea pocky. Green tea Kit-Kats. All are very, very good. You should definitely try them all. XD

Oh yeah! I already have my prom dress! Now I just need a boyfriend to go with. *sigh* Something tells me I'll end up going alone. It may not be the best, but I'd rather go alone than with someone I really don't like. Anywho...tis a qipao. I got it from this Oriental Gifts store at the mall. I love that place. The lady told me it will be going out of business at the end of the year though. I'm not sure if that's true, or if she just really wanted me to buy the South Korean flag though (which I did). XP I really hope it doesn't go out of business. It's my favorite store in the entire mall. I'll be very sad. :'( I insist on going every single time we're there. *tear*

Now I'm pretty sure that's all I have to say. Christmas shall hopefully bring some happiness. Both in the form of spending time with my crazy family...and by me getting more anime/manga/videogames. XD There's just something about Christmas and the crazy times with my family. Oh yes! And New Years Eve parties. Can't forget them! XD
