Still alive and kicking.

Hm, so much for staying active on MyO. I need to update more, this once-a-year schedule is not working.

Anyhow, my life has been good. I have had a growing obsession about Japan and everything Japanese over the past few years, though I am now starting to get serious. I have been learning Japanese (language) on my own over the past two years, and now I am going to start taking it in school, along with Spanish and Mandarin Chinese (maybe). Just recently I was introduced by a neighbor to a Japanese woman, who speaks Japanese as her first language and English as her second. She offered to teach me Japanese, and I accepted, so hopefully I will improve under her teaching. She even offered to take me to Japan, since she goes back home to Tokyo for three or more months out of every year. No plans have been made yet, but it is a possibility. Personally, though, I would like to go not just to Tokyo, but also to other places such as Osaka, Nara, Sapporo, Okinawa-shoto, and Nagasaki. Basically, I want to go anywhere and everywhere.

I am even looking at the option of going to college in Japan, though my parents were not to pleased with the concept. Hm, maybe an excange student program, or something? Evil parental unit.

M'kay, onward. Let's see, what else is new... I have taken a liking to some Chinese music, the bands S.H.E (Song: Zen Me Ban) and Fahrenheit (All songs) in particular. I have also started watching some of the Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese dramas, if you can believe that. No, they are nothing like American soap operas. I hate those. Anyhow, I like the dramas Hanazakarino Kimitachihe (Taiwanese), Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Japanese), Hana Yori Dango (Japanese), Hana Yori Dango 2 (Japanese), and Nobuta wo Produce (Japanese). Wu Zun and Matsumoto Jun are awesome actors, and, to my suprise, Ella is a good actress. I'm looking foward to more of their work.

Well, that is all for now, as I have to get to sleep. It is about 6 a.m. and I have not gone to bed yet. 'Night!
