   Back from D.C.
Hey everyone!
I got back from D.C. on Sunday morining (around midnight to be precise) The trip was really awsome, we got to see all sorts of places, and learned alot of stuff. I got alot of photos, and I'm going to try and download on here so everyone can see.

On the 1st day, we just arrived around 5:30am, at McDonalds, and saw the FDR Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument, and National Archives, and The Library of Congress, and The Surpreme Court House, we saw the Capitol Building, but only from the outside, when before the first snow storm hit. It was freezing, my legs were so cold that I couldn't feel them! When we got to see the Constitution, it was awsome, because the paper was so yellow, and you could barely see the ink. John Handcock's signature on the Declaration of Independece, is almost gone! So when I took the pictures, I had to have my flash off. After that we went to the hotel, but had to pull over because we heard alot of sirens behind us; and you won't believe who was behind us..... THE PRESIDENT!!!!
Everybody couldn't believe it! It was so cool! When we finally got to the hotel, we were about ehh... about 10:30 or so.

The next day, all of us got ready to go to the ignoguration. The only problem though was that we couldn't see the Presidential Oath or the Presidential Parade because of the bad security; we were stuck in line for almost 6hrs! Everyone was really upset that they didn't get to see the President. We didn't see him at the ignogural ball either, but we still had a great time.

We saw the Lincoln Memorial, The White House, Jefferson Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, and a whole bunch of other places; we couldn't see Mount Vernon though because of the huge snow storm coming from the West, so we had to leave early. I hope to go back one day. Well g2g,I'll everyone soon!
W.A.
