.Commandments.2-4.

Sorry about not posting in a couple days... Since I missed a couple days, I'll just post Commandments 2-4. These are the rest of the commandments that we should keep to honor God. COMMANDMENTS 2nd Commandment "You shall not make for yourself a carved image - any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth, you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the inquiry of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but show mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments." -Exodus 20:4-6 3rd Commandment "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain." -Exodus 20:7 4th Commandment "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, not your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath dayand hallowed it." Exodus 20:8-11 EXPLANATIONS 2nd Commandment This commandment is obviously about material idols and statues. If you break this commandment, you are also breaking the first commandment. 3rd Commandment I wish more people would take this one into effect... I hear people using the Lords name in vain constantly and it doesn't seem to bother anyone. Using the Lords name in any other way than talking to him or about him is considered using it in vain. 4th Commandment Most denominations kind of ignore this one... It is the only commandment that says "remember" in it, so it has to be important. The seventh day is obviously Saturday, not Sunday. The reason most denominations go to church on Sunday is because the day of worship was changed by the Catholic church to show their power. They don't have the authority to do that since it is a commandment from God to please him, not to show off power. As a Seventh-day Adventist, I go to church on Saturday. From sundown Friday night to Sundown Saturday night is Sabbath. That is all I'm going to say for now. You should be able to expect the next six next week. I hope everyone has a great day!!! .Start.Of.Something.New.

Until I am ready to start posting problems and ways of dealing with them, I guess i could do something useful/helpful. I will go through the "Ten Commandments" and hopefully explain them a little. You can add on to my explanation in a comment if you want, it could be very helpful to others. You can find the ten Commandments in Exodus 20:1-17 I guess before I talk about these commandments, i should explain a little about them. I'm sure everyone had heard of the Ten Commandments, but do you understand them? Do you keep them? I can't say that I do or that would be lying and breaking a commandment, but i try. A brief summary, The first four commandments are commandments that are intended to help the relationship between man and God, while the last six are intended to help the relationship between everyone on Earth. I will start from the beginning, so that would be the first commandment. .The.First.Commandment. "You shall not have any other gods before Me" Exodus 20:3 NKJV Like the rest of them, this is one is self explanatory, but i will explain it anyway. This simply means that you only worship God, not idols. Idols could be anything that hinders your relationship with God. Some examples are: money, people, items, ideas, etc. If you put them before God then you are making them more important than God. AKA, an idol. If anyone has any questions about any of the commandments, please feel free to ask. I would be happy to try to explain it to you. I will keep posting the commandments until I finish all of them, then to problems and possibly some other stuff that I can think of. :) Requests would be nice. .V.S.

I.Could.Use.Some.Prayer

Hey everyone. I know this site is made to help others,but I need some help now... This morning i found out that my Great Uncle has Leukemia, my grandpa has a tumor in his ear, and my grandma has to get back surgery because she fractured a vertebrae.... So, my morning wasn't too good. I'd appreciate it if you guys could pray for my family members. Thanks a lot. .V.S.

.Post.3. - .My.Posts.

So every week I am going to post a problem and solution along with that I am hoping to get Bible verses that have to do with the problem. I could use some help with that part. I'll start posting problems and solutions in a couple weeks. I'm still trying to people to come visit and comment and there are some things i could fix on this site. Until then, i will be posting just about everyday just give a little update about my progress and what my plans are. Please tell others about this site. I'd greatly appreciate it. .V.S.

Post.2 - Help

I've been editing my site quit a bit since I created it yesterday and I think I can say it is almost finished! If you see anything that you think could be added or changed, just let me know and I'll consider it. I would appreciate it if I could get some of your guys' buttons on my site. I think it would look more interesting to see other people's work scrolling and not just mine. So, the point of this site is to help people. If you know anyone who could use some help or someone to talk to, could you please direct them here. I'm hoping this site will benefit people. Every week I will post about some problems people have and how you can fix them without causing other problems. If i run out of things to post about I'm going to need your guys' help.
