   Work work work....
I had to work tonight. It was an extra-long shift--at least, it felt like that to me. It's been raining alot up here, so my knees are killing me! I had to pull stuff from the catering room again and then go tend bar. It wasn't really a bar--I just poured wine and popped the tops of beer. But hell, a paycheck's a paycheck, am I right?

It's Family Weekend here, which totally sucks because my family can't be here. I won't get to see them until forever goes by! I think, if Thanksgiving break falls just right and I can skip out on a couple of classes, I might haul ass home and surprise my folks. I'd really like to see them--I don't want to have to wait until Christmas!

It'll be okay though. Fall break is next weekend, and me, Nina, Jess,and Margaret are going to Nina's over in Richmond. It's going to be seriously, seriously fun! We're gonna club, and chill with Nina's friends, and hit Fright Fest, and all sorts of fun crazy shit!

I just took my Philosophy quiz for this week (my teacher puts'em up online) and I actually had to go to the book on this one. Wah! I prefer to BS my way through. I mean, it's Philosophy--isn't that what you're supposed to do?

   I'm in love!
With whom? J. Hiroyuki Liao! I don't know him. Never met him. But after seeing him in M. Butterfly yesterday, I have never wanted so desperately to own a man in my life! He was so talented, so handsome, so absolutely passionate! During his speech at the French trial, I was absolutely riveted! Every move was precise without being showy, every word so emphatically announced without being aggravating...and the naked scene was really, really, really good. Good lord, he is just such a beautiful man!

In case ya couldn't tell, I went and saw M. Butterfly yesterday. It was absolutely awesome! I had never attended a "theater-in-the-round" before, and the props were minimal for the production, but it was so awesomely done I couldn't tear my eyes away. It was absolutely fantastic!

I went with a bunch of theater kids--Margaret, Jess, and Nina were there too, of course--big bunch of nerds we are. The bus trip was long and some of the girls on the back of the bus wouldn't stop whining (which made me wish I had my dinner fork) but the play was so awesome I couldn't be mad about anything. Agitated yes, but not mad.

The play was awesome! Now I want quite desperately to see the opera "Madame Butterfly". I had a basic gist of the story, but now I want to see it done out. Plus I like Puccini.

I also watched "Chicago" on the bus yesterday. The movie wasn't so great but I'd really like to get the soundtrack. The music was awesome. ^^

Saturday was a bitchin day, I've gotta tell ya.

   Busy, busy, busy day!
First off, I should like to say that everyone needs to go visit Lady Malik's site and wish her luck--her mind's on the fritz and she's feeling on the downside of Hell, but let's all believe she'll bounce back because if enough people believe something, it'll be true.

Now, onto the more random things of my day. I'm starting to get tired of some of my friends--I see them all the time, and they're starting to bug me because their brains don't work like mine. I know it's a really stupid-ass reason to be bugged, but I just...I think it's the lack of sleep. Anytime I get tired, I get touchy. I'll sleep in a bunch this weekend (since I don't have to work, yay!) and that'll make it all better.
I worked again tonight. I didn't drop anything, I didn't break anything, and I didn't get anything on my shirt. It was a really frigging awesome day! There was even some cheesecake leftover, so the catering staff got to have some. Double yay, as I LOVE CHEESECAKE! The group we catered tonight was so frigging awesome! There was only ONE bitch out of the whole bunch, and she wasn't even that bad! Now I aboslutely refuse to work catering for any group other than the multicultural association group thing...I wouldn't mind the alumnae so much, except for the young ones. They're fresh out and think they know everything--blech on them! The older/middle aged alumnae are great though! I totally love catering--it's alot of hard work, but we have SUCH a good time in the back.

Just a note: BE NICE TO THE PEOPLE WHO TAKE AWAY YOUR DIRTY DISHES. We work with the food, and not all of us can resist the temptation to sneeze on your water glass...I'm kidding! Our group wouldn't do that here because we wouldn't want it done to us...but not everyone is so nifty. Yay R-MWC catering squad! ^^

Random quiz. ^^ It was a good day today--nothing really went on. My first night of work was er...uh...interesting. I broke one of the knives (it fell off the plate, hit the floor, and the blade snapped off)...and I dropped another knife onto an older gentleman's cake...- -" He was nice about it though--he said it was okay, and handed it back to me. ^^ It's the damndest thing--the middle-aged and older alumnae are super nice. It's the young ones who just got out that are absolute bitches! I got to one like thirty seconds after she had finished eating, and she just looks up at me like "couldn't you have been here sooner?" Pffttt on the lot of those brats! I really wanted to shove a dessert fork up some noses...however, that would get me fired and I have to keep this job. Blech.
Got my car checked out--still need to get my oil changed AND I have to get new tires...- -" So many expenses and pretty much no income! Yay for my mum--she's gonna help me out. ^^
Working on a collab fanfic with Viollyne and Fala--t'is most fun. Harry Potterish--I really must convince them to post, but that won't be an issue until we're done. ^^ Gotta bounce now--bedtime. ^^

I did my first show tonight! And I only f*cked up a couple of times! Yay me! The only expletive I uttered that got on air was "Goddammit!" and that was because I had the mike on instead of the music. But other then that, it was a good show! And people called me in for requests! Some other chick that's been working there for three years or so has never gotten a request! She was totally hating on me, but that's okay, because my show rocked! ^^ I'm so happy!
Nina, Margaret, Jess, and I all went out to dinner again today, to kick off alot of things. First off, the premieres of Jess' show (The Underground) and my show (Brain Drain). Secondly, to be all mushy mushy girly and celebrate our bonds, and thirdly to wish on the passing of Jess' father. Really, it was a good thing in the end since he was terminal with a brain tumor, but the rest of us were still sad--Jess is handling it okay...she keeps smiling, and that worries me. But the only thing I--we, can do is to make fun of her for smoking and hang around her. ^^
I'm sorry if this seems so random and poorly written...the adrenaline's starting to run down and I'm getting a little fuzzy. ^^ Bad thing, since I have to cater tomorrow from 4-11. Yay for me, I have a job now! ^^ More on that later...must...catch...zzzzz's....

Anzu's stupid face makes me feel less stupid about being Japanese illiterate. ^^ I finally, finally, FINALLY got a job today! I'm a part of the work/study program at my school, and I finally got placed today! I'm on the catering squad. We have to wear really ugly shirts and bow ties. The bowties are kinda cute--a bunny-ear headband would go really well. ^^ Yes, yes I will dress up as a Playboy Bunny for Halloween, and ENJOY MYSELF DAMMIT! ^^
I'm sorry I'm so extra spazzy tonight. I just feel...overwhelmed, but happy, you know? The only bummer is that we won't be webcasting just yet, so I don't have a link.    Konnichiwa gozaimasu!
I think I'm getting sick(Brain Drain--Friday's at 10 pm). There's a cold going around campus and this morning quite a few of us were feeling...ill (puking isn't very attractive, now is it?). I skipped Philosophy (Brain Drain--Friday's at 10 pm)to go take a nap--I absolutely CANNOT get sick--I can't afford to! Most of my classes only allow 1 or 2 absences before my grade drops. Isn't that just ludicrous? (Brain Drain--Friday's at 10 pm). Sure they say they'll make exceptions if you manage to trudge to the health center and get a note that says "yes" you are deathly ill and "no" you cannot attend class because you ARE deathly ill, but if you're deathly ill, how the hell are you supposed to get down to the health center? (Brain Drain--Friday's at 10 pm). So now I have to keep popping my multivitamin, drinking tons of OJ and running in the opposite direction of sick people. All in all, it'll be just another winter for me! (Brain Drain--Friday's at 10 pm).
Nothing else to go on about--I wrote up about our fun over the weekend, and I didn't do Jack Schitt on Sunday (except my laundry at 1:00 am but...yeah...) anyways...my roommate just came in. She's so super sweet. (Good thing she can't see my computer, hehe). ^^ Anyways...I don't know the link for the webcast of the radio station here yet, but as soon as I get it, I'm screaming it from the rooftops. For now, I'll just have to settle for subliminal advertising. You know how that goes (Brain Drain--Friday's at 10 pm). Bye bye for now duckies! ^^

Good morning everybody! It's 3:03 in the am and I have insomnia! Yay for insomnia! I may very well see the sun rise. Yeesh...

Saturday was fun. We got some chinese and sat down to watch Toonami (me, Jess, Margaret, and Nina). The night before we all went out and saw the RE 2 movie. IT KICKED ASS! I'd go into greater detail, but I can't seem to focus real well right now...stringing whole sentences together is proving to be more tiring than I had originally figured. Mah well.

   WWRM--the Worm!
I'm going to have my own radio show! And it's going to be webcast! I can give y'all the link and y'all can tune into the Brain Drain, every Friday night from 10 pm to 11 pm. It'll be uber cool! Yay! *does stupid lil happy dance*

It's been another good day. We didn't go shopping, but Saturday we're going to go Goodwill hunting--that'll be super cool! Yay! (It's a "yay!" kind of day!)

I just feel so happy. I really like it here at college--it's hectic and mind-bending, but the people are super nice. ^^

Where is TheVampireEd? I demand his attention immediately! If anyone out there has spotted him, I'm offering a Fruit Roll-Up as a reward. ^^ Bysee bysee my favorite peoples!
