The Cheap Markers Story
How did I bother buying cheap, streaky markers (used for the last two fan arts)? If you wondered that, here is the story:
I had made an inner-Sakura costume for Anime Boston. I had forgotten my sharpie, so I searched the mall nearby the convention for a marker. The best I could find was a set of those cheap, thin markers. I bought them, only to later find that the spandex shorts that I was going to use were left in the locked car. So in the end, I cosplayed as Ise Nanao, my alternate costume, the whole weekend and I was stuck with a cheap marker set. I reasoned that I should use them as to not let my seven dollars go to waste. T^T
