Change of plans, we're leaving tonight.
I love my dad, but his use of logic leaves something to be desired...
V-day pic will get put up on DA on Monday or something, since DA is being stupid right now and I have to leave. >>;

I've been faithfully wearing my retainers 24/7 since I got my braces off in late November of '06, even though when I got my braces off I was told I'd only have to go 24 hours for 6 months. Today I had a dentist appointment and my dentist/orthodontist (they're the same person) told me I only have to wear them at night now. 8D
...Although now my mouth feels naked. Oh well, I'll get used to it.
(Sidenote: I've also apparently been doing a good job taking care of my teeth, they look fine and I have no cavities. While my little brother has 6 of them. >>; )
I've got Monday and Tuesday off next week, and Dad has Monday off, so on Saturday morning (possibly Friday night, but I'm guessing no because we do need to eat and we don't really want to freeze and we don't want to have to shovel our way up the driveway in pitch darkness with subzero temperatures >>; ) we're leaving for our internet-less vacation home. It's been a while since we last went there, but still, no internet. We'll be back sometime on Monday.
I'll probably use VV's new blogging system when VV actually comes out, but I do love my myOtaku... It was my first blog.
So, hope everybody's Valentine's Day (or Singles Awareness Day if you prefer) didn't suck or anything. Mine was pretty much just another ordinary day. You don't really expect much from February 14 when members of the opposite gender seem to treat you pretty much as one of their own. >>;

Well, it's been snowing maniacally all day. (If you're confused as to how the weather can be maniacal, come to Michigan some time.) I guess Friday's "blizzard of the century" finally decided to get its lazy cloud out of bed and get over here. The roads are a nightmare, both main and back. They let the seniors and juniors who drive themselves to school go home 15 minutes early to give them more time to get out of the parking lot. Not that it really seemed to matter. >>;
I finally got my report card~ Exams went well, all except for AP Econ (C+...), but the class average was a D, so I was pleased. =D I don't think Dad's seen my report card yet. If he has, then Mom told him what I told her about the AP Econ exam and he understood, because I haven't been blown up at yet. (That or he's just to busy mentally spazzing over the fact that I got an A on my physics exam even though I wasn't doing as well in the class. >>; ) And the extra credit for the AP Comp exam saved me. It brought my grade up from a B to an A-. =D
Side thought: If I want to throw a brick at a figment of my imagination, does that mean I'd have to throw a brick at myself? I'd explain, but I don't really feel like it. >>; (Although Kat' and 'gome should be able to figure it out, if they haven't already...)
Also, the library I work at now has a wiki. It doesn't seem to be available on the general internet yet, but we discovered it being edited on one of the circulation desk computers, and one of the circ workers said "Oh, yes, one of the guys just made it not long ago."
Scheduling hell has begun once again. Yaaaay. >>
...I've been abusing the "=D;" emote lately, and I have no ideal why. ._.;

Well, it turns out I didn't actually have the flu. It was a nasty reaction to my acid reflux meds. So, we're going to try some over-the-counter stuff, and if that doesn't work, then my doctor will prescribe something else.
We had a snow day today, which is nice, because I woke up feeling like crap again, but I felt better after a couple hours. And, there was supposed to be an orchestra concert tonight, but that got canceled, thanks to the snow day. The snow gods and the orchestra gods are constantly at war. It seems to happen a lot that orchestra concerts are canceled due to snow.
I think for my research paper I'm going to use cyber terrorism as my topic. Now, to hunt for books on Amazon...

Sick...
Well, I get to miss school and work today... But that's because I got the flu yesterday. Guuuuh, I feel like crap... Oh well, at least I'm not nautious and aching everywhere anymore like I was yesterday. However, I still feel like I don't want to eat anything, and I still get dizzy when I get up and walk around.
I'm not looking forward to making up today's homework and classwork tomorrow...
And I still need to pick a topic for my AP Comp research paper, pick 3 focus questions about said topic, print out the Amazon reviews for 3 books about said topic, and pick the best book, all by tomorrow. This was assigned Friday. x.x
And, my dad is currently on a business trip in Brazil. Hope he takes lots of pictures.

Went to the doctor today, and they think I've got Acid Reflux Disease. No biggie, my mom and uncle both had it. They gave me some pills to take, and in a week or so if the pain hasn't stopped, slowed, or gotten any better, I get to go back so I can be looked over again.
Well, that's a relief, I suppose.
And I'll be sure to look into Lactaid milk for my brother. Right now he's taking Lactaid pills, but we still don't have much dairy in the house.
...I've been having this random thought ever since I read volume 20 of Bleach... So, Aizen's got a mullet now, Gin looks possibly albino, Tousen looks like a rapper, Grimmjow has blue hair, and Ulquiorra looks emo. You know what this means? Rock band. With Momo as the insane stalker groupie. (Although somehow I doubt they'd be any good. =/)

...Well, there goes any thoughts I had of 2008 not sucking.
Mom thinks it's probably just stress. Maybe she's right, I dunno. Either way, probably sometime tomorrow she's going to schedule me a doctor appointment.
Shortly after the new year started, I started having really really dull aches in my chest, between my breasts. They weren't frequent at all, at the point where I thought it was just parts of my body randomly going "OUCH" and then stopping, because the aches never lasted more than 5 seconds. But over the weekend it got more frequent, I noticed that I can't really take as deep of breaths anymore, and it feels like there's tightness or pressure in my chest.
It could just be stress like mom thinks, but... I'm scared. Really, really scared.
Well, so much for hopefully having good health in the new year. First we find out that my brother is lactose intolerant (and the rest of us get dragged into the no-dairy diet), and now me.
And the fact that I'm having a "super-depressed nao D:" uncontrollable biology is not helping.
Well, on a non-angsty note, over the weekend I found a copy of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All in the bargain bin at Wall-Mart. It is now on my shelf.

EXAMS ARE OVER! =D
AP Comp was next to impossible, because my brain likes to see all the possible answer choice interpretations as illogical. >> Hopefully my portfolio and writing part made up for the multiple choice badness. Orchestra was easy, I did well on my scales, and the written exam was the same one we've taken since 8th grade. Computer Science wasn't bad, and I got 91%. Pre-Calc was okay, the multiple choice was a joke since we could use calculators and didn't have to show work (lawl, 5-second matrix multiplication), but the constructed response was a little iffy. I suxxorz at Gauss-Jordan Elimination. =/ Physics didn't go as badly as I was thinking it would. Calculators, multiple-choice questions, not having to show work, and getting EVERY equation you'd need is win. AP Econ, however... the teacher cannot word tests so they make sense, and to add to the badness, my brain started wandering off and I couldn't focus about 3/4 of the way through, so I took a short break and let my brain wander off for a couple minutes, but it never came back. We'll see how that turned out. ._.
So, I finally got a DS~ When I got to GameStop, the guy said that they just got 3 of them in about an hour ago. I even got my choice of colors, white, white, or white. (Take a wild guess which color I chose. >>) Lucky~ Those things have been sold out pretty much everywhere since Thanksgiving, and I even got the color I wanted. =D (Phoenix Wright is really fun so far. So, the Defense Trio will probably soon become a Defense... Square? Rectangle? Rhombus? Parallelogram? Trapezoid? Kite?... Um... Let's leave it at Defense Quadrilateral for now. ._.)
Bad news, though... Since I don't have school Monday or Tuesday, nor does my brother, we're leaving tonight (most likely, possibly tomorrow morning but I'm not counting on it) and getting back Tuesday morning. ._. Fortunately, though, this time we'll actually have a TV, so we won't have to crowd around Dad's laptop to watch movies. And my brother and I are bringing the Wii. And I finally bought a copy of Baten Kaitos (I beat it 2 years ago by renting it 3 weeks straight >>;), so I'll be spending part of the long weekend replaying that.
So I guess I'll be seeing you guys again on Tuesday.

Well that is good news indeed!!! ^_^
Yay for deja vu.
Anyway, I'm back to learning. Physics test Thursday, Econ quiz Friday, and I have to do my revision interview that counts for 30-40% of my AP Comp exam grade (forgot which one, either 30 or 40, probably 40). Yay. >>
I kind of wish exams were this week. It would suck because it's the first week back from break, but hey, at least they'd be done faster. We really should have them before break.
So, since I have to shift into hyper study mode, don't expect to see me around too much this week or next. (I will try to be on YIM this weekend, though.)
That's really, really awesome! ^_^

Last Day of Vacation
So, I've only got about 3.5 hours left of holiday break. ._.
School resumes tomorrow, and I've got a physics test Tuesday (stupid Mr. B., scheduling a test right after we get back from break. D: )
And, thus will begin massive midterm reviewing of doom, since I've got midterms from the 16th to the 18th. (Yes, my district is stupid and doesn't have exams until after we get back from break. I don't know why.) Which means I'll have review novels for a week and a half. Yay. >>
In happier news, I should be getting my copy of TotA back from Kayla, and I'll probably get a DS sometime this month... if not this week, then probably after exams are over. (Because I should be focusing on studying, not gaming.)
...
I never did do my economics homework... Oh well, it's the kind of stuff I can do during the first 4 classes of the day. >>;
